With the development of society,more and more cities are participating in the initiative to build learning cities.Constructing an evaluation indicator system for learning cities to monitor the progress and promote the...With the development of society,more and more cities are participating in the initiative to build learning cities.Constructing an evaluation indicator system for learning cities to monitor the progress and promote their growth has become increasingly important.This paper analyzes the preliminary framework of the UNESCO Global Learning City Index and R3L+Quality Framework.The comparison is made from the aspects of design philosophy,criteria of indicator,and the cycle of evaluation process.The findings suggest that the construction of an evaluation indicator system should be focused more on the diversity of learning city development,the construction of an evaluation process cycle,and the significance of building cooperative networks.展开更多

Each cri...In order to help designers, consider disassembly in their design activities, a method for evaluation of product disassembly is proposed. Criteria characterizing the disassembility of a product are identified. Each criterion is assigned a coefficient, thus proposing an index of easy fixations (Iff) as a design indicator to evaluate the level of disassembly of a solution generated by the designer. This index is calculated as a weighted average of the indicators for evaluating the disassembility of the product. The proposed method uses information such as the list of subsets or parts, the component tree, the part geometry, the functional links between components and parts, the properties of the components. It has been tested on one product: the soy roaster.展开更多

Course construction not only has a direct effect on teaching quality,but also is an important mark of a university's overall teaching level. To cater to a university's individual needs, the university and the teacher should be able to effectively evaluate the New National English Curriculum, and then further work out their own school-based curriculum development. Therefore, this thesis evaluates the application of the New Curriculum for English Majors in Reading instruction. Finally some possible solutions are addressed to better suit its teaching context.展开更多
