Indeed...Near-death or death-like experiences are a natural, albeit uncommon, phenomenon due to the temporary and reversible decoupling or dissociation of the Psychosoma from its material counterpart, the physical body. Indeed, these “psychophysical events” are fundamental in clinical conditions that lead to unconsciousness in individuals declared clinically dead or who have come very close to physical death. In addition, Consciousness is fundamental in the occurrence of these experiences. In fact, Consciousness, a higher order field, is the entity that vibrationally dissociates from the physical body and is also the protagonist of the entire chain of events of near-death experiences, as well as out-of-body experiences. Undoubtedly, matter is a creation of the Universal Intelligent Principle and the primary cause of all things. Thus, Consciousness is the basis of all existence, of primordial reality. Vehicle of manifestation of Consciousness, the Psychosoma is a morphogenetic, vaporous, translucent, luminous body which is also made up of all organs, including the immaterial brain [mind] and the other electromagnetic systems of the human body. The Psychosoma is, therefore, the connection bridge between Consciousness, a complex subtle field, non-electromagnetic, responsible for all phenomena of near-death experiences in connection with the dense field of gross matter, the physical body. For example, the Consciousness is the one who sees, feels pain and welcomes its family members on the verge of death during the near-death experience in any vibrational dimension, even being perceived by the Psychosoma. Here it is important to remember that dimension is not a place. It’s a vibration. It’s a frequency. The main objective of this article is to approach innovative and comprehensive concepts about the role of Consciousness in near-death experiences as well as to try to overcome limiting paradigms that prevents the progress of science. In addition, concepts based on quantum holography and information theory were raised here. Following this reasoning, I start with the formulation of a hypothesis about the role of Consciousness in near-death and out-of-body experiences. Thus, we propose a new and unique approach to Consciousness in order to investigate the role of Mind and its relationship with life and death. In this way, we intend to introduce new concepts for discussion and not give the last word to the currently unanswered questions of Consciousness regarding its interaction with the environment;with death and life and finally with respect to its origin. Finally, a selective bibliographic research was carried out in English language databases with the purpose of making the study design compatible, which presents specific concepts of a subject that had been little studied until then.展开更多

TBI-induced near-death experience (NDE) could increase suicide risks. Objective: We investigated TBI coupled with NDE and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as a possible indicator of suicide. Methods: A 17-year-old male who sustained an acute severe TBI in a traffic collision, was comatose 14 days, had an NDE awakening from the coma, and, years after rehabilitation, suffered PTSD, clinical depression, and survived a suicide attempt. This personal experience of a TBI-induced NDE and lingering PTSD was acquired directly from the patient by interview. We discuss his case while considering relevant literature. Results: Longitudinal data from 1961 to 2021 generated from the PubMed interface revealed 4056 TBI patients committed suicide. NDE was only reported in one of those cases and, although not a suicide, in the personal experience. Neuropsychological assessment at long-term follow-ups revealed few TBI patients exhibited normal mental/physical functions compared to the general population. Unfavorable GOS scores were risk predictors for neuropsychological/physical impairments later in life, with outcomes of depression, PTSD, poor QOL, and/or suicide. Conclusions: For TBI-NDE survivors, including those with PTSD, long-term periodic neuropsychological follow-ups and psychosocial support may help decrease suicide risks.展开更多

A specific protocol of changing, angular velocity, pulsed magnetic fields that has been shown to produce excess correlation in photon durations and shift in proton concentrations (pH) in spring water were generated around both plates of cells. Serial injections of 50 μL of standard concentrations of hydrogen peroxide into the “local” plates of cells during the 12 min of field activation produced conspicuous cell death (reduction of viable cells by about 50%) with comparable diminishments of cell numbers in the non-local plates of cells within 24 hr but only if both loci separated by either 3 m or 1.7 km had shared the “excess correlation” magnetic field sequence. The non-local effect did not occur if the magnetic fields had not been present. Higher or lower concentrations of peroxide or concentrations that eliminated all of the cells or very few cells in the local dishes were associated with no significant diminishment of non-local cell growth. The data indicate that there must be a critical number of cells remaining viable following the local chemical reaction for the excess correlation to be manifested in the non-local cells. We suggest that this specific spatial-temporal pattern of fields generated within the paired toroidal geometries promotes transposition of virtual chemical reactions as an information field. Calculations of the energy available per cell and per volume of the quantity of reactants injected into the local space from the intensity of the changing velocity toroidal magnetic field support previous measurements and derivations that the units of information transposition may involve discrete quantities that represent equivalents of photons, electrons and protons.展开更多

The apoptotic effect of IFN is influenced by cell type and the types of IFN, which suppresses proliferation and induces apoptosis in some cell types while inhibiting apoptosis in others. The aim of this study was to explore the effect of IFNα-2a on Fas expression and the apoptosis rate of peripheral blood cytotoxic T cells (CTLs) in patients with hepatitis B. METHODS:Peripheral blood mononuclear cells were isolated from 26 patients with hepatitis B including 16 patients with chronic hepatitis B and 10 patients with chronic severe hepatitis B. Fas expression and apoptosis rate of CTLs were analyzed with flow cytometry before and after IFNα-2a treatment. RESULTS:Before IFNα-2a treatment, Fas expression and apoptosis rate of CTLs from patients with chronic hepatitis B were significantly higher than those from patients with chronic severe hepatitis B and healthy controls respectively. No significant difference was observed between Fas expression and apoptosis rate of CTLs from patients with chronic severe hepatitis B and healthy controls. After IFNα-2a treatment,Fas expression and apoptosis rate of CTLs from different groups were compared with those before IFNα-2a treatment, showing no significant difference despite alternation of different degree. CONCLUSIONS:Activation induced cell death (AICD) exists in peripheral blood CTLs from patients with hepatitis B. No effect of IFNα-2a exerts on Fas expression and apoptosis rate of Fas in patients with hepatitis B.展开更多

We studied the effects of material-mixture ratio, glue content, hot- pressing temperature, and hot-pressing time on the appear- ance, physical, and mechanical properties of the composite by the orthogonal experiment method. Our findings yielded highly significant results in all three cases: the effects of the material-mixture ratio on 2 h of thickness swelling (2hTS) and the modulus of rupture (MOR); the effects of glue con- tent on 2hTS, internal bond strength, and modulus of elas- ticity (MOE); and the effects of hot-pressing temperature on MOR and MOE. Product optimization is achieved when the ratio of corn stalk skin flake to wood shaving is 3:7, the glue content is 12 %, the hot-pressing temperature is 150 ℃, and the hot-pressing time is 4.5 min.展开更多

The apparatus consists of the existing shaking table as the shear-loading device up to 3,600 kN, the main frame for holding two large rectangular prismatic specimens with a sliding area of 0.75 m^2 and for applying normal stresses an up to 1.33 MPa, and a reaction force unit holding the stationary specimen to the ground. The shaking table can produce loading rates v up to 1.0 m/s, accelerations up to 9.4 m/s^2, and displacements d up to 0.44 m, using four servocontrolled actuators. We report results from eight preliminary experiments conducted with room humidity on the same gabbro specimens at v = 0.1-100 mm/s and an = 0.66-1.33 MPa, and with d of about 0.39 m. The peak and steady-state friction coefficients were about 0.8 and 0.6, respectively, consistent with the Byerlee friction. The axial force drop or shear stress drop during an abrupt slip is linearly proportional to the amount of displacement, and the slope of this rela- tionship determines the stiffness of the apparatus as 1.15 × 10^8 N/m or 153 MPa/m for the specimens we used. This low stiffness makes fault motion very unstable and the overshooting of shear stress to a negative value was recognized in some violent stick-slip events. An abrupt slip occurred in a constant rise time of 16-18 ms despite wide variation of the stress drop, and an average velocity during an abrupt slip is linearly proportional to the stress drop. The use of a large-scale shaking table has a great potential in increasing the slip rate and total displacement in biaxial friction experiments with large specimens.展开更多
