Through mathematical proof the optimal number of relay nodes and the optimal location of each node for data transmission can be obtained when a distance is given. In the ADPC first the source node computes the optimal number and the sites of the relay nodes between the source and the destination nodes. Then it searches feasible relay nodes around the optimal virtual relay-sites and selects one link with the minimal total transmission energy consumption for data transmission.Simulation results show that the ADPC can reduce both the energy dissipation and the end-to-end latency of the transmission.展开更多

The hybrid gateway discovery scheme that combined the advantages of a proactive and reactive gateway discovery approach is used to achieve high connectivity while keeping overhead costs low. The scheme is based on cross-layer, feedback, and Bayesian network techniques. The impacts of video quality are formulized and deduced. The relevant factors are obtained by a cross-layer mechanism or Feedback method. According to these relevant factors, the variable set and the Bayesian network topology are determined. Then a Bayesian network prediction model is constructed. The results of the prediction can be used as the bandwidth of the mobile ad hoc network (MANET). According to the bandwidth, the video encoder is controlled to dynamically adjust and encode the right bit rates of a real-time video stream. Integrated simulation of a video streaming communication system is implemented to validate the proposed solution. In contrast to the conventional transfer scheme, the results of the experiment indicate that the proposed scheme can make the best use of the network bandwidth; there are considerable improvements in the packet loss and the visual quality of real-time video.K展开更多

文摘Mobile Industrial Internet of Things(IIoT)applications have achieved the explosive growth in recent years. The mobile IIoT has flourished and become the backbone of the industry, laying a solid foundation for the interconnection of all things. The variety of application scenarios has brought serious challenges to mobile IIoT networks, which face complex and changeable communication environments.Ensuring data secure transmission is critical for mobile IIoT networks. This paper investigates the data secure transmission performance prediction of mobile IIoT networks. To cut down computational complexity,we propose a data secure transmission scheme employing Transmit Antenna Selection(TAS).The novel secrecy performance expressions are first derived. Then,to realize real-time secrecy analysis,we design an improved Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)model, and propose an intelligent data secure transmission performance prediction algorithm. For mobile signals, the important features may be removed by the pooling layers. This will lead to negative effects on the secrecy performance prediction.A novel nine-layer improved CNN model is designed.Out of the input and output layers,it removes the pooling layer and contains six convolution layers.Elman,Back-Propagation(BP)and LeNet methods are employed to compare with the proposed algorithm.Through simulation analysis, good prediction accuracy is achieved by the CNN algorithm. The prediction accuracy obtains a 59%increase.
文摘Cognitive Radio Networks(CRNs)have become a successful platform in recent years for a diverse range of future systems,in particularly, industrial internet of things(IIoT)applications. In order to provide an efficient connection among IIoT devices,CRNs enhance spectrum utilization by using licensed spectrum. However, the routing protocol in these networks is considered one of the main problems due to node mobility and time-variant channel selection.Specifically, the channel selection for routing protocol is indispensable in CRNs to provide an adequate adaptation to the Primary User(PU)activity and create a robust routing path. This study aims to construct a robust routing path by minimizing PU interference and routing delay to maximize throughput within the IIoT domain. Thus,a generic routing framework from a cross-layer perspective is investigated that intends to share the information resources by exploiting a recently proposed method, namely,Channel Availability Probability. Moreover,a novel cross-layer-oriented routing protocol is proposed by using a time-variant channel estimation technique. This protocol combines lower layer(Physical layer and Data Link layer)sensing that is derived from the channel estimation model. Also,it periodically updates and stores the routing table for optimal route decision-making.Moreover,in order to achieve higher throughput and lower delay,a new routing metric is presented. To evaluate the performance of the proposed protocol, network simulations have been conducted and also compared to the widely used routing protocols,as a benchmark. The simulation results of different routing scenarios demonstrate that our proposed solution outperforms the existing protocols in terms of the standard network performance metrics involving packet delivery ratio(with an improved margin of around 5–20%approximately)under varying numbers of PUs and cognitive users in Mobile Cognitive Radio Networks(MCRNs).Moreover, the cross-layer routing protocol successfully achieves high routing performance in finding a robust route, selecting the high channel stability, and reducing the probability of PU interference for continued communication.
文摘Link asymmetry in wireless mesh access networks(WMAN)of Mobile ad-hoc Networks(MANETs)is due mesh routers’transmission range. It is depicted as significant research challenges that pose during the design of network protocol in wireless networks.Based on the extensive review,it is noted that the substantial link percentage is symmetric,i.e.,many links are unidirectional. It is identified that the synchronous acknowledgement reliability is higher than the asynchronous message. Therefore, the process of establishing bidirectional link quality through asynchronous beacons underrates the link reliability of asym-metric links. It paves the way to exploit an investigation on asymmetric links to enhance network functions through link estimation. Here,a novel Learning-based Dynamic Tree routing(LDTR)model is proposed to improve network performance and delay. For the evaluation of delay measures, asymmetric link, interference, probability of transmission failure is evaluated. The proportion of energy consumed is used for monitoring energy conditions based on the total energy capacity. This learning model is a productive way for resolving the routing issues over the network model during uncertainty. The asymmetric path is chosen to achieve exploitation and exploration iteratively. The learning-based Dynamic Tree routing model is utilized to resolve the multi-objective routing problem. Here, the simulation is done with MATLAB 2020a simulation environment and path with energy-efficiency and lesser E2E delay is evaluated and compared with existing approaches like the Dyna-Q-network model(DQN),asymmetric MAC model(AMAC),and cooperative asymmetric MAC model(CAMAC)model. The simulation outcomes demonstrate that the anticipated LDTR model attains superior network performance compared to others. The average energy consump-tion is 250 J,packet energy consumption is 6.5 J,PRR is 50 bits/sec,95%PDR,average delay percentage is 20%.

文摘Mobile computing is the most powerful application for network com-munication and connectivity, given recent breakthroughs in thefield of wireless networks or Mobile Ad-hoc networks(MANETs).There are several obstacles that effective networks confront and the networks must be able to transport data from one system to another with adequate precision. For most applications,a frame-work must ensure that the retrieved data reflects the transmitted data. Before driv-ing to other nodes,if the frame between the two nodes is deformed in the data-link layer,it must be repaired. Most link-layer protocols immediately disregard the frame and enable the high-layer protocols to transmit it down.In other words, because of asset information must be secured from threats, information is a valu-able resource. In MANETs,some applications necessitate the use of a network method for detecting and blocking these assaults.Building a secure intrusion detection system in the network, which provides security to the nodes and route paths in the network,is a major difficulty in MANET.Attacks on the network can jeopardize security issues discovered by the intrusion detection system engine, which are then blocked by the network’s intrusion prevention engine.By bringing the Secure Intrusion Detection System(S-IDS)into the network,a new technique for implementing security goals and preventing attacks will be developed. The Secure Energy Routing(SER)protocol for MANETs is introduced in this study. The protocol addresses the issue of network security by detecting and preventing attacks in the network. The data transmission in the MANET is forwarded using Elliptical Curve Cryptography(ECC)with an objective to improve the level of security.Network Simulator–2 is used to simulate the network and experiments are compared with existing methods.
文摘Wireless sensor Mobile ad hoc networks have excellent potential in moving and monitoring disaster area networks on real-time basis. The recent challenges faced in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks(MANETs)include scalability, localization, heterogeneous network,self-organization,and self-sufficient operation. In this background, the current study focuses on specially-designed communication link establishment for high connection stability of wireless mobile sensor networks, especially in disaster area network.Existing protocols focus on location-dependent communications and use networks based on typically-used Internet Protocol(IP)architecture.However,IP-based communications have a few limitations such as inefficient bandwidth utilization, high processing, less transfer speeds, and excessive memory intake. To overcome these challenges, the number of neighbors(Node Density)is minimized and high Mobility Nodes(Node Speed)are avoided. The proposed Geographic Drone Based Route Optimization(GDRO)method reduces the entire overhead to a considerable level in an efficient manner and significantly improves the overall performance by identifying the disaster region. This drone communicates with anchor node periodically and shares the information to it so as to introduce a drone-based disaster network in an area.Geographic routing is a promising approach to enhance the routing efficiency in MANET.This algorithm helps in reaching the anchor(target)node with the help of Geographical Graph-Based Mapping(GGM).Global Positioning System(GPS)is enabled on mobile network of the anchor node which regularly broadcasts its location information that helps in finding the location. In first step, the node searches for local and remote anticipated Expected Transmission Count(ETX),thereby calculating the estimated distance.Received Signal Strength Indicator(RSSI)results are stored in the local memory of the node. Then, the node calculates the least remote anticipated ETX,Link Loss Rate, and information to the new location.Freeway Heuristic algorithm improves the data speed, efficiency and determines the path and optimization problem. In comparison with other models, the proposed method yielded an efficient communication, increased the throughput, and reduced the end-to-end delay, energy consumption and packet loss performance in disaster area networks.

文摘Mobile Edge Computing(MEC)is a technology designed for the on-demand provisioning of computing and storage services, strategically positioned close to users. In the MEC environment, frequently accessed content can be deployed and cached on edge servers to optimize the efficiency of content delivery, ultimately enhancing the quality of the user experience. However, due to the typical placement of edge devices and nodes at the network’s periphery, these components may face various potential fault tolerance challenges, including network instability, device failures, and resource constraints.Considering the dynamic nature ofMEC,making high-quality content caching decisions for real-time mobile applications, especially those sensitive to latency,by effectively utilizing mobility information, continues to be a significant challenge. In response to this challenge, this paper introduces FT-MAACC,a mobility-aware caching solution grounded in multi-agent deep reinforcement learning and equipped with fault tolerance mechanisms. This approach comprehensively integrates content adaptivity algorithms to evaluate the priority of highly user-adaptive cached content.Furthermore,it relies on collaborative caching strategies based onmulti-agent deep reinforcement learningmodels and establishes a fault-tolerancemodel to ensure the system’s reliability, availability, and persistence.Empirical results unequivocally demonstrate that FTMAACC outperforms its peer methods in cache hit rates and transmission latency.

文摘In order to save the energy and reduce the latency of the end-to-end transmission in mobile ad hoc networks an adaptive and distance-driven power control ADPC scheme is proposed by means of distance research in random geometrics. Through mathematical proof the optimal number of relay nodes and the optimal location of each node for data transmission can be obtained when a distance is given. In the ADPC first the source node computes the optimal number and the sites of the relay nodes between the source and the destination nodes. Then it searches feasible relay nodes around the optimal virtual relay-sites and selects one link with the minimal total transmission energy consumption for data transmission.Simulation results show that the ADPC can reduce both the energy dissipation and the end-to-end latency of the transmission.

文摘An improved internetworking approach is proposed to enhance the Internet connectivity which is deteriorated due to unidirectional links and blind rebroadcasting of gateway discovery packets for mobile ad hoc networks. The hybrid gateway discovery scheme that combined the advantages of a proactive and reactive gateway discovery approach is used to achieve high connectivity while keeping overhead costs low. By exchanging ad hoc on-demand distance vector (AODV) hello packet which includes additional fields named symmetric neighbor list and asymmetric neighbor list, unidirectional links are removed from route computation and broadcast storm can also be relieved simultaneously. Performance results using ns-2 simulations, under varying numbers of unidirectional links and node speeds, show that this improved Internet connectivity approach can provide better performance than others.

文摘A novel bandwidth prediction and control scheme is proposed for video transmission over an ad boc network. In contrast to the conventional transfer scheme, the results of the experiment indicate that the proposed scheme can make the best use of the network bandwidth; there are considerable improvements in the packet loss and the visual quality of real-time video.K
文摘Internet of Things(IoT)networks are characterized by a multitude of wireless, interconnected devices that can dynamically join or exit the network without centralized administration or fixed infrastructure for routing. While multipath routing in IoT networks can improve data transmission reliability and load balancing by establishing multiple paths between source and destination nodes, these networks are susceptible to security threats due to their wireless nature.Traditional security solutions developed for conventional networks are often ill-suited to the unique challenges posed by IoT environments. In response to these challenges, this paper proposes the integration of the Ad hoc On-demand Multipath Distance Vector(AOMDV)routing protocol with a trust model to enhance network performance.Key findings from this research demonstrate the successful fusion of AOMDV with a trust model, resulting in tangible improvements in network performance. The assessment of trustworthiness bolsters both security and routing capabilities in IoT networks. The trust model plays a crucial role in mitigating black hole attacks in IoT networks by evaluating the trustworthiness of nodes and helping in the identification and avoidance of malicious nodes that may act as black holes.Simulation results validate the efficacy of the proposed trust-based routing mechanism in achieving its objectives.Trust plays a pivotal role in decision-making and in the creation of secure distribution systems.By assessing the trustworthiness of nodes, both network security and routing efficiency can be enhanced. The effectiveness of the proposed trust-based routing mechanism is scrutinized through simulations, offering insights into its potential advantages in terms of improved network security and routing performance in the context of the IoT.

文摘The nature of adhoc networks makes them vulnerable to security attacks. Many security technologies such as intrusion prevention and intrusion detection are passive in response to intrusions in that their countermea- sures are only to protect the networks, and there is no automated network-wide counteraction against detected intrusions, the architecture of cooperation intrusion response based multi-agent is propose. The architecture is composed of mobile agents. Monitor agent resides on every node and monitors its neighbor nodes. Decision agent collects information from monitor nodes and detects an intrusion by security policies. When an intruder is found in the architecture, the block agents will get to the neighbor nodes of the intruder and form the mobile firewall to isolate the intruder. In the end, we evaluate it by simulation.
