In this paper, the magnetic field adaptive control based on the neural network with time-delayed feedback is proposed for suppressing beam halo-chaos in the beam transport network with periodic focusing channels. An integrated ANFIS model is built and the effectiveness of the model is verified by means of investigation data and their processing results. The model merges the learning mechanism of neural network and the language inference ability of fuzzy system, and thereby remedies the defects of neural network and fuzzy logic system. Result of this case study shows that the model is suitable for complicated socio-technical systems and has bright application perspective to solve such problems of prediction, evaluation and policy-making in managerial fields.展开更多

The backstepping design is applied for constructing the controllers for the altitude subsystem.To avoid the explosion of differentiation from backstepping, the higher-order filter dynamic is used for replacing the virtual controller in the backstepping design steps. In the design procedure,the radial basis function(RBF) neural network is investigated to approximate the unknown nonlinear functions in the system dynamic of the hypersonic vehicle. The SONVF with CG algorithm improves the accuracy of prediction without increasing the computation complexity. Meanwhile, the difficulty of neuron number determination does not exist here. Experimental results show that the proposed filter can predict chaotic time series effectively, and one-step and multi-step prediction performances are obviously superior to those of SOVF, which demonstrate that the proposed SONVF is feasible and effective.展开更多

To attenuate the influence of constrained input caused by actuator saturation, an effective auxiliary system is constructed to prevent the stability of closed loop system from being destroyed. Radial basis function neural networks(RBF-NNs) are used in the online learning of the unknown dynamics, which do not require an off-line training phase. Both state and output feedback control laws are developed. In the output feedback case, high-order sliding mode(HOSM) observer is utilized to estimate the unmeasurable system states. Using fuzzy neural networks to approximate the unknown nonlinear functions, a fuzzy- neural adaptive observer is introduced for state estimation as well as system identification. Under the framework of the backstepping design, fuzzy-neural adaptive output feedback control is constructed recursively. It is proven that the proposed fuzzy adaptive control approach guarantees the global boundedness property for all the signals, driving the tracking error to a small neighbordhood of the origin. Mutual fund investment continues to play a very important role in the world financial markets especially in developing economies where the capital market is not very matured and tolerant of small scale investors.The t...Mutual fund investment continues to play a very important role in the world financial markets especially in developing economies where the capital market is not very matured and tolerant of small scale investors.The total mutual fund asset globally as at the end of 2016 was in excess of$40.4 trillion.Despite its success there are uncertainties as to whether mutual funds in Ghana obtain optimal performance relative to their counterparts in United States,Luxembourg,Ireland,France,Australia,United Kingdom,Japan,China and Brazil.We contribute to the extant literature on mutual fund performance evaluation using a collection of more sophisticated econometric models.We selected six continuous historical years that is 2010-2011,2012-2013 and 2014-2015 to construct a mutual fund performance evaluation model utilizing the fast adaptive neural network classifier(FANNC),and to compare our results with those from an enhanced resilient back propagation neural networks(ERBPNN)model.Our FANNC model outperformed the existing models in terms of processing time and error rate.This makes it ideal for financial application that involves large volume of data and routine updates.展开更多

In this paper,the problems of robust consensus tracking control for the second-order multi-agent system with uncertain model parameters and nonlinear disturbances are considered.An adaptive control strategy is propose...In this paper,the problems of robust consensus tracking control for the second-order multi-agent system with uncertain model parameters and nonlinear disturbances are considered.An adaptive control strategy is proposed to smooth the agent’s trajectory,and the neural network is constructed to estimate the system’s unknown components.The consensus conditions are demonstrated for tracking a leader with nonlinear dynamics under an adaptive control algorithm in the absence of model uncertainties.Then,the results are extended to the system with unknown time-varying disturbances by applying the neural network estimation to compensating for the uncertain parts of the agents’models.Update laws are designed based on the Lyapunov function terms to ensure the effectiveness of robust control.Finally,the theoretical results are verified by numerical simulations,and a comparative experiment is conducted,showing that the trajectories generated by the proposed method exhibit less oscillation and converge faster.展开更多

In the modeling process, an Adaptive Neural Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) identification model of DMFC stack temperature is developed based on the input-output sampled data, which can avoid the internal complexity of DMFC stack. In the controlling process, with the network model trained well as the reference model of the DMFC control system, a novel fuzzy genetic algorithm is used to regulate the parameters and fuzzy rules of a neural fuzzy controller. In the simulation, compared with the nonlinear Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) and traditional fuzzy algorithm, the improved neural fuzzy controller designed in this paper gets better performance, as demonstrated by the simulation results.展开更多

A multi-layer perceptron (MLP) neural network is trained using two on-line training algorithms: a back propagation algorithm and a recursive least squares (RLS) algorithm. It is used to model parameter uncertainties in the nonlinear dynamics of internal combustion (IC) engines. Based on the adaptive model, an MPC strategy for controlling air-fuel ratio is realized, and its control performance compared with that of a traditional PI controller. A reduced Hessian method, a newly developed sequential quadratic programming (SQP) method for solving nonlinear programming (NLP) problems, is implemented to speed up nonlinear optimization in the MPC. The neural classifier is adaptive to cope with the significant parameter uncertainty, disturbances, and environment changes. The developed scheme is capable of diagnosing faults in on-line mode and the FDI for the closed-loop system with can be directly implemented in an on-board crankshaft speed feedback is investigated by diagnosis system (hardware). The robustness of testing it for a wide range of operational modes including robustness against fixed and sinusoidal throttle angle inputs, change in load, change in an engine parameter, and all these changes occurring at the same time. The evaluations are performed using a mean value engine model (MVEM), which is a widely used benchmark model for engine control system and FDI system design. The PEMFC stack and the air supply system including a compressor and a supply manifold are modeled for the purpose of performance analysis and controller design. A recurrent fuzzy neural network (RFNN) is utilized to identify the inverse model of the controlled system and generates a suitable control input during the abrupt step change of external disturbances. Compared with the PI controller, numerical simulations are performed to validate the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed AIC strategy.展开更多

The proposed variable structure controller is proved to be Cl, thus can be applied for backstepping design, which has extended the scope of previous nonlinear systems in the form of strict-feedback and pure-feedback. With the help of neural network approximator, H-∞ performance analysis of stability is given. The effectiveness of proposed control law is verified via simulation.
文摘The coating on the electrodes contains many kinds of raw materials which affect significantly on the mechanical properties of deposited metals. It is still a problem how to predict and control the mechanical properties of deposited metals directly according to the components of coating on the electrodes. In this paper an electrode intelligent design system is developed by means of fuzzy neural network technology and genetic algorithm,, dynamic link library, object linking and embedding and multithreading. The front-end application and customer interface of the system is realized by using visual C ++ program language and taking SQL Server 2000 as background database. It realizes series functions including automatic design of electrode formula, intelligent prediction of electrode properties, inquiry of electrode information, output of process report based on normalized template and electronic storage and search of relative files.
文摘Aiming at on-line controlling of Direct Methanol Fuel Cell (DMFC) stack, an adaptive neural fuzzy inference technology is adopted in the modeling and control of DMFC temperature system. In the modeling process, an Adaptive Neural Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) identification model of DMFC stack temperature is developed based on the input-output sampled data, which can avoid the internal complexity of DMFC stack. In the controlling process, with the network model trained well as the reference model of the DMFC control system, a novel fuzzy genetic algorithm is used to regulate the parameters and fuzzy rules of a neural fuzzy controller. In the simulation, compared with the nonlinear Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) and traditional fuzzy algorithm, the improved neural fuzzy controller designed in this paper gets better performance, as demonstrated by the simulation results.
文摘Brushless DC(BLDC)motor is a complex nonlinear system,of which some parameters will also change during operation.Therefore,obtaining accurate rotor position directly through the line voltage becomes more difficult.So a new method is proposed in this paper which uses three line voltages as the input signal to identify the motor position based on adaptive wavelet neural network(WNN)and the differential evolution(DE)algorithm to optimize WNN structures,thus realizing the improvement of accuracy,exactness of the communication signals and convergence speed of the rotor position identification.Finally,both simulations and experimental results show that the proposed method has high accuracy of recognizing rotor position and strong orientation ability.

文摘The study aims to investigate the financial technology(FinTech)factors influencing Chinese banking performance.Financial expectations and global realities may be changed by FinTech’s multidimensional scope,which is lacking in the traditional financial sector.The use of technology to automate financial services is becoming more important for economic organizations and industries because the digital age has seen a period of transition in terms of consumers and personalization.The future of FinTech will be shaped by technologies like the Internet of Things,blockchain,and artificial intelligence.The involvement of these platforms in financial services is a major concern for global business growth.FinTech is becoming more popular with customers because of such benefits.FinTech has driven a fundamental change within the financial services industry,placing the client at the center of everything.Protection has become a primary focus since data are a component of FinTech transactions.The task of consolidating research reports for consensus is very manual,as there is no standardized format.Although existing research has proposed certain methods,they have certain drawbacks in FinTech payment systems(including cryptocurrencies),credit markets(including peer-to-peer lending),and insurance systems.This paper implements blockchainbased financial technology for the banking sector to overcome these transition issues.In this study,we have proposed an adaptive neuro-fuzzy-based K-nearest neighbors’algorithm.The chaotic improved foraging optimization algorithm is used to optimize the proposed method.The rolling window autoregressive lag modeling approach analyzes FinTech growth.The proposed algorithm is compared with existing approaches to demonstrate its efficiency.The findings showed that it achieved 91%accuracy,90%privacy,96%robustness,and 25%cyber-risk performance.Compared with traditional approaches,the recommended strategy will be more convenient,safe,and effective in the transition period.
文摘This paper presents an application of adaptive neural network model-based predictive control (MPC) to the air-fuel ratio of an engine simulation. A multi-layer perceptron (MLP) neural network is trained using two on-line training algorithms: a back propagation algorithm and a recursive least squares (RLS) algorithm. It is used to model parameter uncertainties in the nonlinear dynamics of internal combustion (IC) engines. Based on the adaptive model, an MPC strategy for controlling air-fuel ratio is realized, and its control performance compared with that of a traditional PI controller. A reduced Hessian method, a newly developed sequential quadratic programming (SQP) method for solving nonlinear programming (NLP) problems, is implemented to speed up nonlinear optimization in the MPC. 文摘To solve the problem of altitude control of a tilt tri-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)in the transition mode,this study presents a grey wolf optimization(GWO)based neural network adaptive control scheme for a tilt trirotor UAV in the transition mode.Firstly,the nonlinear model of the tilt tri-rotor UAV is established.Secondly,the tilt tri-rotor UAV altitude controller and attitude controller are designed by a neural network adaptive control method,and the GWO algorithm is adopted to optimize the parameters of the neural network and the controllers.Thirdly,two altitude control strategies are designed in the transition mode.Finally,comparative simulations are carried out to demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed control scheme.

文摘Based on consideration of the differential relations between the immeasurable variables and measurable variables in electro-hydraulic servo system,adaptive dynamic recurrent fuzzy neural networks(ADRFNNs) were employed to identify the primary uncertainty and the mathematic model of the system was turned into an equivalent linear model with terms of secondary uncertainty.At the same time,gain adaptive sliding mode variable structure control(GASMVSC) was employed to synthesize the control effort.The results show that the unrealization problem caused by some system's immeasurable state variables in traditional fuzzy neural networks(TFNN) taking all state variables as its inputs is overcome.On the other hand,the identification by the ADRFNNs online with high accuracy and the adaptive function of the correction term's gain in the GASMVSC make the system possess strong robustness and improved steady accuracy,and the chattering phenomenon of the control effort is also suppressed effectively.

文摘A new on-line fault detection and isolation (FDI) scheme proposed for engines using an adaptive neural network classifier is evaluated for a wide range of operational modes to check the robustness of the scheme in this paper. The neural classifier is adaptive to cope with the significant parameter uncertainty, disturbances, and environment changes. The developed scheme is capable of diagnosing faults in on-line mode and the FDI for the closed-loop system with can be directly implemented in an on-board crankshaft speed feedback is investigated by diagnosis system (hardware). The robustness of testing it for a wide range of operational modes including robustness against fixed and sinusoidal throttle angle inputs, change in load, change in an engine parameter, and all these changes occurring at the same time. The evaluations are performed using a mean value engine model (MVEM), which is a widely used benchmark model for engine control system and FDI system design. The simulation results confirm the robustness of the proposed method for various uncertainties and disturbances.

文摘This paper presents a two-wheeled differential spherical mobile robot in view of the problems that the motion of spherical robot is difficult to control and the sensor is limited by the spherical shell.The robot is simple in structure,flexible in motion and easy to control.The kinematics and dynamics model of spherical mobile robot is established according to the structure of spherical mobile robot.On the basis of the adaptive neural sliding mode control,the trajectory tracking controller of the system is designed.During the simulation of the s-trajectory and circular trajectory tracking control of the spherical mobile robot,it is concluded that the spherical mobile robot is flexible in motion and easy to control.In addition,the simulation results show that the adaptive neural sliding mode control can effectively track the trajectory of the spherical robot.The adaptive control eliminates the influence of unknown parameters and disturbances,and avoids the jitter of left and right wheels during the torque output.

文摘To prevent the oxygen starvation and improve the system output performance, an adaptive inverse control (AIC) strategy is developed to regulate the air supply flow of a proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) system in this paper. The PEMFC stack and the air supply system including a compressor and a supply manifold are modeled for the purpose of performance analysis and controller design. A recurrent fuzzy neural network (RFNN) is utilized to identify the inverse model of the controlled system and generates a suitable control input during the abrupt step change of external disturbances. Compared with the PI controller, numerical simulations are performed to validate the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed AIC strategy.
