In this paper the properties of space- time correlation function of the noise field of moving source in layered statistic inhomogeneous medium are studied and the effects of random fluctuating boundary are considered ...In this paper the properties of space- time correlation function of the noise field of moving source in layered statistic inhomogeneous medium are studied and the effects of random fluctuating boundary are considered as well.It has been shown, theoretically and experimentally, multi-path propergating effects cause the dispersion of the correlation function and fluctuations of the medium refraction index and the boundary cause the fluctuation of it.The effect of the movement of the noise source on the output of real- time correlator is equivalent to a low- pass filter added the drift of space- time correlation function.These properties of the correlation function cause grave degradation of the signal processing gain of noise ranging sonar system.The fluctuating and the distortion of conrrelation function made it difficult to realize the noise ranging.So in this paper, a method of space correlation ranging by a linear array of four points with short separation and long span and a technigue of dual- correlation signal processing are presented. By this, the influences of previously mentioned factors are greatly overcomed.Futhermore, for the long period and great delay fluctuation of the dual- correlation function output caused by internal wave, a method of limited memory Quasi- Kalman filtering is developed and the effective accurate ranging and tracing of noise ranging sonar are able to be tralized finally.展开更多

There are two production mechanisms of the noise: one is direct transfer of the convective ridge of the pressure fluctuations through the shell, the other is the reradiation of resonance modes excited by the pressure fluctuations. At low frequencies the noise produced by the latter mechanism is dominant. Solving the frequency equation of the cylindrical shell with liquid loading, the two Stoneley-type poles in the complex K plane are presented. They are the major sources of the reradiation of shell at low frequencies. Finally, effects of the shell radius, shell thickness, absorption of material and the flow speeds on the noise reduction are computed by numerical iniegration.展开更多

Up to now, there is only very limited knowledge about flicker noise of the topological insulator, whose...Low-frequency flicker noise is usually associated with material defects or imperfection of fabrication procedure. Up to now, there is only very limited knowledge about flicker noise of the topological insulator, whose topologically protected conducting surface is theoretically immune to back scattering. To suppress the bulk conductivity we synthesize antimony doped Bi2Se3 nanowires and conduct transport measurements at cryogenic temperatures. The low-frequency current noise measurement shows that the noise amplitude at the high-drain current regime can be described by Hooge's empirical relationship, while the noise level is significantly lower than that predicted by Hooge's model near the Dirac point. Furthermore, different frequency responses of noise power spectrum density for specific drain currents at the low drain current regime indicate the complex origin of noise sources of topological insulator.展开更多

The cavity is initially prepared in the vacuum state. Generally, the entanglement of two atoms decreases with the intensity of the thermal fields and the coupling strength of the two-level atoms to the thermal fields. However, we find that the entanglement of the quantum system can be enhanced by adjusting the frequency and the strength of the classical driving fields in the presence of white noise.展开更多
In order to study the correlation between the internal flow noise of the centrifugal pump and the turbulent pressure pulsation,a single-stage single-suction centrifugal pump was used as the research object by the comb...In order to study the correlation between the internal flow noise of the centrifugal pump and the turbulent pressure pulsation,a single-stage single-suction centrifugal pump was used as the research object by the combination of numerical calculation and experiment.Based on the RNG k-?model and the N-S equation,the model pump was simulated numerically by CFD.A dipole sound source was extracted by the turbulent pulse action of the volute wall surface according to the FW-H equation.The acoustic field of the model pump was solved on the basis of the boundary element method,and the sound pressure distribution of the internal flow field under the action of the dipole sound source of the volute wall and the frequency response of the inlet and outlet fields were obtained.The results show that the distribution of hydrodynamic noise inside the centrifugal pump is related to the pressure pulsation,presenting obvious dipole distribution and disturbance at the tongue.The sound pressure value of the field is mainly concentrated in the blade passing frequency and double frequency,in which the blade passing frequency is the strongest,and the sound pressure value decreases obviously under other double frequency.The main frequency of hydrodynamic noise is the blade passing frequency.展开更多

However, the mecha- nism and plopagation of the noise generated by these tires have not been systematically investigated 7o determine the noise of heavy truck tires with different structures and patterns, and to analyze the coraelation between the indoor tire noise and coast-by tire noise, an integrated tire indoor noise test and a coast-by noise test were designed and successfully implemented. The indoor test was conducted on a drum inside a semi- anechoic chamber to simultaneously measure the near field and far field noise of the tires. The outdoor measurements were carried out using a coast-by test on the new ISO 10844 surface. A formula for quantitative analysis with appropriate corrections was developed to analyze the data with reasonable errors, which can be used to predict the coast-by noise through the indool tire noise test accurately and effectively. The analysis shows that when trying to build the relationship between indoor and outdoor heavy truck tire noise, care should be taken to differentiate the tires with a load capacity index in excess of 121 and without any dual fitting indication from ordinary tires, due to the specified test procedure.展开更多
