Geometrical nonlinearity effect is considered. Detailed formulations and procedures are given for the first time. Several examples are analyzed and accurate results are obtained by the DQEM. Based on the results in this paper, one may conclude that the DQEM is a useful tool for obtaining solutions of structural elements. It can be seen that the shell shape may be theore tically controlled and snap through may occur when the applied voltage reaches a critical value even without mechanical load for certain geometric configurations.展开更多

The formulation presented in this paper is different from any other non linear mixed/hybrid element formulation all successful experience of linear hybrid formulation is absorbed into the formulation(adding non conforming modes and realizing orthogonalization) Numerical results show that the present approach is more effective than any other non linear hybrid element formulation over the accuracy and computational efficiency. Based on a non linear resonant oscillator model by which the coupled excitation mechanism between the unstable vortices and gate motion can be simulated, the differential equations for the three types of gate vibrations are established. The parameters in the equations are determined by model experiments. Then, the steady state non linear responses of the three types of gate vibrations are calculated. The calculation results are in good agreement with the experimental data of gate vibrations with different reduced velocity and gate parameters by previous researchers.展开更多
Effort estimation plays a crucial role in software development projects,aiding in resource allocation,project planning,and risk management.Traditional estimation techniques often struggle to provide accurate estimates...Effort estimation plays a crucial role in software development projects,aiding in resource allocation,project planning,and risk management.Traditional estimation techniques often struggle to provide accurate estimates due to the complex nature of software projects.In recent years,machine learning approaches have shown promise in improving the accuracy of effort estimation models.This study proposes a hybrid model that combines Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)and Random Forest(RF)algorithms to enhance software effort estimation.The proposed hybrid model takes advantage of the strengths of both LSTM and RF algorithms.To evaluate the performance of the hybrid model,an extensive set of software development projects is used as the experimental dataset.The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed hybrid model outperforms traditional estimation techniques in terms of accuracy and reliability.The integration of LSTM and RF enables the model to efficiently capture temporal dependencies and non-linear interactions in the software development data.The hybrid model enhances estimation accuracy,enabling project managers and stakeholders to make more precise predictions of effort needed for upcoming software projects.展开更多

This model reconstructs the time series of traffic flow in the phase space firstly, and the correlative information in the traffic flow is extracted richly, on the basis of it, a predicted equation for the reconstructed information is established by using chaotic theory, and for the purpose of obtaining the optimal predicted results, recognition and optimization to the model parameters are done by using genetic algorithm. It is difficult to get the accurate analytic solution in theory. In this paper, an average state equation of the system is established by means of state space analysis method. The mathematics model of the reverse converter is gotten after the average equation of the system is linearized. The model is a two ranks oscillation link. With the parameters of the AWC, when the condition of (1/RC) 2 >>4/LC is available, the mathematics model may be simplified to a serial structure which includes a integral link and a one rank inertia link. On the basis of this, it can be analyzed and rectified in frequency domain, then some groups of reality rectification parameters are gotten around the theory rectification parameters. These groups of parameters are taken to do the resistance load experiment and welding technology experiment. The result of experiment accords with the theory analysis result. This paper also provides some practical analysis of the model under the large signal process such as the sudden opening of the load, short circuit, turning on and turning off the machine. The result of the research shows that the power source system of AWC can be analyzed and rectified by the frequency domain analysis method in the engineering. The deduced mathematics model of small signal average frequency domain shows the basic characteristics of the system, and the structure parameters of the system is formed by R, L, C and switching ratio D. The model is very simple and clear, and it can be used to analyze and design the power source system of AWC and it can also be used to direct the regulation for dynamic characteristics of the system.展开更多

In order to ensure that a structure does not collapse when subjected to the action of strong ground motions, modern codes include prescriptions in order to guarantee the ductile behavior of the elements and of the who...In order to ensure that a structure does not collapse when subjected to the action of strong ground motions, modern codes include prescriptions in order to guarantee the ductile behavior of the elements and of the whole structure. Obviously, it would be of special importance for the designer to know during the design process the extent of damage that the structure will suffer under the seismic action specified by the design spectrum and also the probability of occurrence of different states of behavior. The incremental nonlinear static analysis procedure used in this paper allows formulating a new, simplified, seismic damage index and damage thresholds associated with five limit states. The seismic behavior of a set of regular reinforced concrete buildings designed according to the EC-2/EC-8 prescriptions for a high seismic hazard level is then studied using the proposed damage index and damage states. Fragility curves and damage probability matrices corresponding to the performance point are calculated for the studied buildings. The obtained results show that the collapse damage state is not reached in the buildings designed according to the prescriptions of EC-2/EC-8 and also that the damage does not exceed the irreparable damage limit state.展开更多

The model is based on the system of reaction diffusion of reaction-diffusion equation containing a non-linear term related to substrate consumption rates by electrogeneic and methanogenic microorganism in the bioflim. This paper presents the approximate analytical method to solve the non-linear differential equation that describes the diffusion coupled with acetate (substrate) consumption rates. Simple analytical expressions for the concentrations of acetate and methane have been derived for all experimental values of bulk concentration, distributions of microbial volume fraction, local potential in the biofilm and biofilm thickness. In addition, sensitivity of the parameters on concentrations is also discussed. Our analytical results are also validated with the numerical results and limiting cases results. Further, a graphical procedure for estimating the kinetic parameters is also suggested.展开更多

Hydrogen bonds and ππ interactions are the most remarkable structural features of the title compounds. All can be described as higherdimensional supramolecular compounds connected via these secondary bondings. Moreover, the title compounds were characterized by elemental analyses, IR spectra and TGA analyses. The depth averaged linear and nonlinear k-ε models can both be used to calculate the flow field near a side discharge into open channel flow, but the results of the nonlinear model are in much closer agreement with experimental results. The proposed algorithm has to solve onlyone linear system of equations and performs only one line search per iteration. Without requiringany strict complementarity assumption at the P_0–NCP solution, we show that the proposed algorithmconverges globally and superlinearly under mild conditions. Furthermore, the algorithm has localquadratic convergence under suitable conditions. The main feature of our global convergence resultsis that we do not assume a priori the existence of an accumulation point. Compared to the previousliteratures, our algorithm has stronger convergence results under weaker conditions.展开更多

文摘The 3─roll reducing processes are simulated and predicted by using 3─D elastic─plastic large strain FEM on the PC / 386 computer.The displacement field and flow field of workpiece deformation are given. The internal angle defects of the seamless tube are studied in detail during 3─roll reducing.the predictions of the forming product quality and technology parameter are realized by means of PC / 386 computer.

文摘The hydrothermal reactions of CuI, KI and bidentate amines [ 1,10 phenanthroline (phen) or ethylenediamine (en)] gave the three copper(I) halide compounds, Cu3I3(phen)2 (1), CuI(phen)2 (2) and 2 (3), which were structurally characterized via singlecrystal Xray diffraction studies. Hydrogen bonds and ππ interactions are the most remarkable structural features of the title compounds. All can be described as higherdimensional supramolecular compounds connected via these secondary bondings. Moreover, the title compounds were characterized by elemental analyses, IR spectra and TGA analyses. The thirdorder nonlinear optical properties of the title compounds were also investigated and all exhibit nicer nonlinear absorption and selffocusing performance.Keywords copper(I) halide, hydrothermal synthesis, the thirdorder nonlinear optical property, supramolecular structure
文摘This paper studies the performance of the GARCH model and two of its non linear modifications to forecast China′s weekly stock market volatility. The models are the Quadratic GARCH and the Glosten, Jagannathan and Runkle models which have proposed to describe the often observed negative skewness in stock market indices. We find that the QGARCH model is best when the estimation sample does not contain extreme observations and that the GJR model cannot be recommended for forecasting.
文摘Without the ‘rigid lid’ assumption, the depth averaged linear k-ε model can describe the change of water depth. However, it is incapable of accurately simulating turbulent flows, where the normal Reynolds stresses play an important role. A depth averaged nonlinear k-ε model is developed taking into account the stress relations described by Speziale. The depth averaged linear and nonlinear k-ε models can both be used to calculate the flow field near a side discharge into open channel flow, but the results of the nonlinear model are in much closer agreement with experimental results. Furthermore, the technique of changing the 2D linear k-ε program into a depth averaged, nonlinear program is presented.

文摘We propose a one–step smoothing Newton method for solving the non-linearcomplementarity problem with P 0–function (P_0–NCP) based on the smoothing symmetric perturbedFisher function (for short, denoted as the SSPF–function). The proposed algorithm has to solve onlyone linear system of equations and performs only one line search per iteration. Without requiringany strict complementarity assumption at the P_0–NCP solution, we show that the proposed algorithmconverges globally and superlinearly under mild conditions. Furthermore, the algorithm has localquadratic convergence under suitable conditions. The main feature of our global convergence resultsis that we do not assume a priori the existence of an accumulation point. Compared to the previousliteratures, our algorithm has stronger convergence results under weaker conditions.
