It requires to develop surface-sensitive, fast-identification, and time-resolved techniques. In this study, we employ several key technical procedures and successfully develop a highly sensitive femtosecond time-resolved sum frequency generation vibrational spectroscopy (SFG-VS) system. This system is able to measure the spectra with two polarization combinations (ssp and ppp, or psp and ssp) simultaneously. It takes less than several seconds to collect one spectrum. To the best of our knowledge, it is the fastest speed of collecting SFG spectra reported by now. Using the time-resolved measurement, ultrafast vibrational dynamics of the N-H mode of α-helical peptide at water interface is determined. It is found that the membrane environment does not affect the N-H vibrational relaxation dynamics. It is expected that the time-resolved SFG system will play a vital role in the deep understanding of the dynamics and interaction of the complex molecules at surface and interface. Our method may also provide an important technical proposal for the people who plan to develop time-resolved SFG systems with simultaneous measurement of multiple polarization combinations.展开更多

The SSRb133Cs molecules in the X1∑+(v = 0) are formed from the short-range (2)^3П0+(V = 10, J = 0) molecular state. A home-made external-cavity diode laser is used as the depletion laser to measure the rotational populations of the formed molecules. Based on the determination of single ion signal, the production rates of molecules in the J=0 and J = 2 rotational levels are derived to be 4800mole/s and 7200mole/s, respectively. The resolution and quantification of molecules in rotational states are facilitative for the manipulation of rotational quantum state of ultracold molecules.展开更多

To measure the vibration without disturbing flow, the Michelson interferometer was employed. The flow channel, which had an obstacle wall inside of it, was fabricated such that it morphologically mimicked the simplified geometry of the oral cavity. Given airflows at a flow rate of 7.5 × 10–4 m3/s from the inlet, aeroacoustic sounds were generated. A spectrum analy-sis of the data demonstrated two prominent peaks in the sound at 1,300 and 3,500 Hz and one peak in the wall vibration at 3,500 Hz. The correlation in peak frequencies between the sound and wall vibration suggests that the sound at 3,500 Hz was induced by the wall vibration. In fact, the sound amplitude at 3,500 Hz decreased when the obstacle wall was thickened, which increased its rigidity (p < 0.05, t-test). The experimental results demonstrate that the developed techniques are capable of measuring aeroacoustic sound and obstacle wall vibration simultaneously, and suggest the potential to pave the way for detailed analysis of the production of sibilant sounds /s/.展开更多

The experiments are carried out to measure non-uniformity of the temperature field in the test cup of the vibrational viscometer in continuously increasing temperatures, while changing the viscosity of the target fluids. Experimental outcomes show that non-uniformity of the temperature grows in the cup and results in viscosity measurement error, when the viscosity of the fluid increases. In order to understand this phenomenon, velocity measurement by particle image velocimetry is conducted in the test cup for fluids of varying viscosity. The results indicate that mixing is enhanced in the low-viscosity fluid by the occurrence of unsteady thermal convection, while weaker convection appears in the high-viscosity fluid.展开更多

In this paper, a self-mixing microvibration measurement system of a π-phase shifted Distributed feedback (DFB) fiber laser is introduced. An all-fiberized configuration Er3+-Yb3+ co-doped DFB fiber laser was used as light source, in which an active π-phase shifted fiber Bragg grating (FBG) was wrote on Er3+-Yb3+ co-doped fiber. Using this, it can easily get a single-mode lasing with narrow linewidth. Experimental results demonstrate that the amplitude of vibration can be achieved down to λ/5 without any modulation parts while utilizing the reflecting mirror. It is in good agreement with the theoretical analysis and very helpful in proving sensitivity and stability of the measurement system. In addition, remote vibration measurement with a distance of 20 km is also realized with this system.展开更多

The effect of particle content, cutting speed, feed rate and tool material on the maximum drilling temperature was investigated. The drilling parameters were optimized based on multiple performance characteristics in terms of the maximum cutting temperature and tool wear. According to the results, the most influential control factors on the cutting temperatures are found to be particle fraction, feed rate and interaction between the cutting speed and particle content, respectively. The influences of the cutting speed and drill material on the drilling temperature are found to be relatively lower for the used range of parameters. Minimum cutting temperatures are obtained with lower particle fraction and cutting speed, with relatively higher feed rates and carbide tools. The results reveal that optimal combination of the drilling parameters can be used to obtain both minimum cutting temperature and tool wear.展开更多

In certain conditions, this technique has some outstanding advantage, and need not strict shock--proof condition, compared with the holographic method for measuring vibration. Therefore,it is suitable to analyze a vibration with a large amplitude.Real-time interferometry is a rapid and simple method for measuring vibration of a body, gives speckle pattern containing amplitude distribution of body-surface. By means of time-averaged method, the speckle pattern is recorded in Fourier transform plane, or vibration lines are seen directly with eyes, so as to analyze efficiently amplitude, phase, and model of a vibration. In addition, remote vibration measurement with a distance of 20 km is also realized with this system.

文摘Based on the development of the non-contact measurement system of free-formsurface, NURBS reconstruction of measurement points of freeform surface is effectively realized bymodifying the objective function and recursive procedure and calculating the optimum number ofcontrol points. The reconstruction precision is evaluated through Ja-cobi's transformation method. The feasibility of the measurement system and effectiveness of the reconstruction algorithm aboveare proved by experiment.
文摘In order to improve the accuracy of escalator sprocket bearing fault diagnosis, the problem of the feature extraction method of bearing vibration signal is addressed. In this paper, empirical mode is used to decompose the original signal, and the optimal modal component among the multiple modal components is obtained after the optimization decomposition is selected by the envelope spectrum method, and the multi-angle feature measure is introduced to extract the fault characteristic value.According to the vibration characteristics of the bearing vibration signal data,a bearing signal feature group that is more inclined to the fault feature category information is established, which avoids the absolute problem of extracting a single metric feature. The fuzzy C-means clustering algorithm is used to cluster the sample data with similar characteristics into the same cluster area, which effectively solves the problem that a single measurement analysis cannot characterize the complex internal characteristics ofthe bearing vibration signal.
文摘Non-contact measurements of machining temperatures were performed with optical pyrometer when drilling particle(B4C) reinforced metal matrix composites(MMCs) with different drills. The results reveal that optimal combination of the drilling parameters can be used to obtain both minimum cutting temperature and tool wear.
文摘Speckle interferometry is an efficient method to analyze a vibration. This paper deduces the intensity distribution function with real-time method, and gives experimental demonstration of vibration body-the vibration lines with different frequencies.
