Objective: To identify the importance of using humor in patient/nurse relationship, its factors, its conditions and the barriers that might limit its use. Methods: We systematically searched PubMed, Science Direct and Google Scholar, for relevant articles published in English between 2010 and 2019. We included the studies that investigated humor between nurses and their patient’s relationship. Results: From the initial 287 articles found, 15 were included for final revision. Data allowed retrieving information on humor definition;its applicability as a nursing intervention;humor as a tool to improve nurse-patient communication and relationship;influencing factors;humor benefits in health care context and the limits that come against its use. Conclusion: Humor is considered a powerful communication tool, it promotes well-being, relieves anxiety and stress, helps deal with stressful situations but it should be used cautiously in order to prevent undesired consequences. 展开更多

The Relationship between Social Support and Burnout among ICU Nurses in Shanghai:A Cross-Sectional Study 被引量:3

Objective: The associations between social support and burnout were explored in ICU nurses of Shanghai. Methods: We performed a cross-sectional study of 356 ICU nurses by applying random cluster sampling. Data were collected using self-reported questionnaires under the instruction of trained investigators. Data on emotional exhaustion, depersonalisation and feelings of low personal accomplishment etc. were collected, calculated and analyzed. Results: The participants had a mean age of 26.96 years (SD 4.07). The mean value (M) and stand- ard deviation (SD) of emotional exhaustion was M=31.85, SD=8.38, those of depersonalisation was M= 11.69, SD= 5.54 and those of feelings of low personal accomplishment was M= 19. 79, SD = 7.02. The high degree of emotional exhaustion (EE), depersonalisation (DP), and lack of personal accomplishment (PA) were revealed to be 76.4%, 39.6%, and 94.9%, respectively. The major influencing factors of emotional exhaustion included support from co-workers(b=0. 343, t = 1.98, P=0. 049), taking leave(b=-1. 182, t=-3. 747, P=0. 001), requisition of work(b=-l. 41, t=-2. 369, P=0. 018), and supervisor support(b=-0. 524, t=-3. 926, P=0. 001). The major influencing factors of depersonalisation were support from the supervisor(b=-0. 333, t=-4. 146, P=0.001), age(b=-0. 89, t=-2. 272, P= 0. 024) and requisition of work(b=-0. 148, t=-2. 124, P=0. 034). There was a positive co-relationship between personal accomplishment and supervisor support. Conclusions: Supervisor support, age, and requisition of work were the major influencing factors of depersonalisation. In addition, supervisor support plays an important role in low personal accomplishment. Further research should focus on supervisor support, co-worker support, time on leave, and requisition of work associated with emotional exhaustion. 展开更多

BACKGROUND This research demonstrates that nurses feel pain because the pandemic process has separated them from their family and children.AIM To examine the family relationship situation of nurses in the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic.METHODS The research adopted a descriptive qualitative design.Participants were selected by the snowball method.An individual in-depth interview technique was used while the participants were away.In-depth interviews were made with a total of 27 nurses.Nine of these nurses were excluded from the study due to communication problems and device problems during the interview.RESULTS This research showed that nurses suffered from family relationship breakdown and insufficiency in intrafamilial coping.The nurses stayed away from their families due to overtime and fear of COVID-19.They cannot meet the needs of their children and spouses for whom they are responsible,and they cannot spare time for them.They were living a tiring life with great responsibility and faced with mental problems such as burnout syndrome and depression.This study was conducted in three cities with a high number of COVID-19 cases in Turkey.We investigated three themes:Breakdown in continuity of intrafamilial relationship,ineffectiveness in role performance,and ineffective individual coping.CONCLUSION The nurses suffer from conditions such as change in parent-infant/child relation and insufficiency in intrafamilial process coping. 展开更多

Study on the Relationships between Nurses' Job Burnout and Subjective Well-being 被引量:1

Objective: To study factors influencing nurses' job burnout and their subjective well-being and to explore the relationships between these two phenomena. Methods: A total of 250 nurses from three hospitals in Shandong were evaluated with the Maslach Burnout Inventory and a subjective well-being scale. Results: Nursing staff showed significantly different levels of job burnout (P〈0.05) according to the following characteristics: age, marital status, educational background, technical tide, years of nursing experience, monthly income, manning quotas and parental status. Level of burnout is higher for nursing staff who are under the age of 30 years, are unmarried, had secondary education, had unofficial manning quota status, are childless, hold a primary title and whose years of nursing experience are less than five years. Statistical significance was found for life satisfaction (P〈0.05) with differences in age; marital status; technical title; years of nursing experience; monthly income; manning quota status; and parental status in positive emotion, negative emotion and degree. There is a significant negative correlation between every dimension of job burnout and life satisfaction and positive emotions for subjective well-being. Every component of job burnout was significantly positively correlated with negative emotions. (P〈0.05) Conclusions: Age, marital status, educational background, technical rifle, years of nursing ex- perience, monthly income, manning quotas and parental status have different influences on occupation burnout and subjective well-being. Encounters are celebrated experiences between persons with connectedness in human situations as expectation. While being in a human dynamic and rhythmic interaction, nursing encounters are dyadic relationships illuminated as patterns of an interconnected relationship moving between the nurse and the nursed, and reflecting person-and-otherness events. The purpose of this paper is to describe the theory of Encountering Nursing in a Nurse-Nursed Dyadic Relationship (ThENNDyR) and to illuminate the four nursing practice processes on which the theory is founded: <em>Knowing as appreciating relational moments</em>;<em>Reflecting as engaging moments</em>;<em>Realizing as patterns of living moments</em>;and <em>Transcending as celebrating moments</em>. Nursing practice occurs in moments in which dyadic relationships transpire as nursing encounters. As fleeting as moments are, the four processes of nursing simultaneously take place as understanding conditions that the <em>who</em> and <em>what</em> of the person warrants persons. “Encountering nursing” is a momentary co-existence of persons in a person-and-otherness situation communicating connectedness-interconnectedness in distinct patterning. The inpatient-nurse relationship is based on a confident alliance characterized by important factors such as trust, confidentiality, responsiveness, genuineness, and consistency. <strong>Aim and Research Question:</strong> The aim of this study was to describe patients’ in-depth experiences of their relationship with nurses when hospitalized for anorexia. The research question was: How do women hospitalized due to anorexia nervosa experience the nurse-patient relationship? <strong>Method:</strong> A hermeneutic approach with in-depth interviews was employed. Five women with previous experience of inpatient care for anorexia were interviewed. <strong>Findings:</strong> The findings summarized how the women experienced the relationship with professional nurses in a ward characterized by a high degree of structure. The main theme Balancing feelings of emotional contradictions in the patient-nurse relationship was described by two sub-themes;Opening up for a care relationship in a rigid and structured ward atmosphere and Fluctuating in a paradox of conflicting feelings. <strong>Discussion:</strong> From the patients’ perspective, balancing the patient-nurse relationship when an inpatient involves conflicting emotional challenges. Structured interventions are perceived as effective by the patients, although they may be ambivalent about them. Therefore, a good relationship depends on the establishment of emotional and stable interaction with the nurses. <strong>Implications for Nursing Practice:</strong> Patients need interventions based on safe and competent quality care. A hermeneutic approach may improve the nurses’ ability to meet these patients in their lifeworld and establish a confident relationship. Objective: The purposes of this study were to analyze the influencing factors of self-directed learning readiness(SDLR) of nursing undergraduates and explore the impacts of learning attitude and self-efficacy on nursing undergraduates.Methods: A total of 500 nursing undergraduates were investigated in Tianjin, with the Chinese version of SDLR scale, learning attitude questionnaire of nursing college students, academic self-efficacy scale, and the general information questionnaire.Result: The score of SDLR was 149.99±15.73. Multiple stepwise regressions indicated that academic self-efficacy, learning attitude, attitudes to major of nursing, and level of learning difficulties were major influential factors and explained 48.1% of the variance in SDLR of nursing interns.Conclusions: The score of SDLR of nursing undergraduates is not promising. It is imperative to correct students' learning attitude, improve self-efficacy, and adopt appropriate teaching model to improve SDLR. 展开更多

However, some novice nurses are unable to adapt to the workplace, and subsequently quit. This study aimed at clarifying relationship issues between novice and senior nurses and examining measures that could be enforced in wards for novice nurses based on the results. Methods: An inductive analysis was conducted on qualitative data from semi-structured interviews with 11 newly hired nurses who had recently graduated from nursing school. The study period was from November 2016 to March 2017. Results: The analysis generated the following three themes related to potential workplace maladaptation: 1) Adaptation to the workplace: difficulty in forming relationships with senior nurses and adapting, 2) Workplace education system: education by preceptors and senior nurses, 3) Professional stance: qualities as a nurse. Conclusion: The results indicated that novice nurses had difficulties in adapting to the workplace as well as its education system in wards. Hence, it was necessary to create habits that would not overly burden others, but instead, spread the rules of the organization, help novice nurses to understand their responsibilities, and assist them in overcoming challenges. 展开更多

The current study examined the effects of band therapy using music on grasping power, depression, and personal relationships among residents of a nursing home. Thirty subjects participated in the study. The band therapy included greetings, warm-up exercises with music, singing with dance, playing instruments, closing speech, and stretching with background music. Band therapy was held for 40 minutes once per week, for a total of four sessions, in the activity room of the nursing home. Findings showed that grasping power, depression, and personal relationships were improved at posttest, but the differences were not statistically significant. A better study design to compare the effects of band therapy with the other group, and a more simple and repeated intervention for the elderly to follow without stress might be necessary. 展开更多

This study provided foundational data for use in nursing interventional methods for improving nurse-patient relationships. This was a descriptive study on the effectiveness of a Japanese tea ceremony (in Japanese: chado) intervention for improving nurse-patient relationships. I conducted a Japanese tea ceremony and examined changes in nurses’ awareness regarding interactions with patients after this intervention. The tea ceremonies were conducted with the cooperation of an Urasenke tea ceremony lecturer. A quiet environment with chairs and tables was provided for all participants while they provided written answers to a descriptive survey, which was administered before and after the intervention;they required approximately 20 min to complete the survey. The mean length of each nurse’s description was 800 characters. The tea ceremony was effective in bringing about definite changes in nurses’ awareness concerning interactions with patients. This study is useful in that it suggests how nurses can maintain good interpersonal relationships with patients. 展开更多

针对医疗护理领域知识复杂性强、数据量大以及对准确度要求较高的问题,该研究提出一种基于卷积神经网络的医疗护理学实体关系抽取方法,实现对护理学语义关系的细粒度文本挖掘。该研究构建了医疗护理学语料标注系统,通过将医疗语料转化... 针对医疗护理领域知识复杂性强、数据量大以及对准确度要求较高的问题,该研究提出一种基于卷积神经网络的医疗护理学实体关系抽取方法,实现对护理学语义关系的细粒度文本挖掘。该研究构建了医疗护理学语料标注系统,通过将医疗语料转化为向量特征矩阵,实现了对医疗语料的自动过滤和标注。通过向神经网络模型嵌入所构建的医疗关系语料库,一定程度上提高了模型疾病分类的准确度。在医疗护理学数据集上的实验表明,基于卷积神经网络的模型在指标精确度、召回率、F1值可达到89.78%、87.59%、89.77%。综上所述,该研究提出的基于卷积神经网络的医疗护理学实体关系抽取方法能够有效地抽取医疗语料数据中的实体关系,优于传统的实体关系抽取模型。 展开更多

目的编制护士感知医护人际交换问卷并检验其信效度。方法以Baggs医护合作理论为基础,综合文献研究构建护士感知医护人际交换问卷条目池。对16名专家进行两轮专家函询形成预试问卷。采用便利抽样法对245名护士开展调查,进行项目分析和信... 目的编制护士感知医护人际交换问卷并检验其信效度。方法以Baggs医护合作理论为基础,综合文献研究构建护士感知医护人际交换问卷条目池。对16名专家进行两轮专家函询形成预试问卷。采用便利抽样法对245名护士开展调查,进行项目分析和信效度检验。结果正式问卷包括合作意愿、尊重、信任、有效沟通4个维度,共18个条目。问卷整体的Cronbach'sα系数为0.970,内容效度为0.976,各条目内容效度为0.857~1.000。验证性因子分析结果显示该问卷结构效度良好。结论护士感知医护人际交换问卷具有良好的信度及效度,对从护士视角评价医护人员人际交换的水平有一定的应用价值。将社会交换理论具体应用于医护关系领域,丰富了社会交换理论的应用领域,也从实证的角度验证了Baggs理论中关于医护人际交换的结构构想,具有一定的理论意义。 展开更多

目的基于二元应对理论构建宫颈癌患者夫妻参与式绘画疗法干预方案,旨在缓解宫颈癌患者夫妻的心理压力并改善亲密关系。方法通过文献回顾、小组讨论拟定方案草案,选取20名专家开展2轮函询对草案进行修订形成初稿,开展预试验进一步完善形... 目的基于二元应对理论构建宫颈癌患者夫妻参与式绘画疗法干预方案,旨在缓解宫颈癌患者夫妻的心理压力并改善亲密关系。方法通过文献回顾、小组讨论拟定方案草案,选取20名专家开展2轮函询对草案进行修订形成初稿,开展预试验进一步完善形成终稿,在82对宫颈癌患者夫妻中进行验证。结果专家函询权威系数为0.91、第2轮函询肯德尔协调系数W为0.316(P<0.001),每个条目适用性评分>4.6分,变异系数<0.14。该方案最终形成以自我了解、彼此表达、感动的事、回首岁月、夫妻同心、携手同行为主题的6场干预,2组宫颈癌患者夫妻在干预前、干预3场后、干预结束后的心理压力、二元应对、婚姻调适得分时间效应、交互效应、组间效应均有统计学意义(P<0.001)。结论基于二元应对理论构建的宫颈癌患者夫妻参与式绘画疗法干预方案,充分考虑了宫颈癌患者夫妻的心理状态及专家意见,具有较好的科学性、实用性和临床意义,能够为宫颈癌患者夫妻缓解心理压力、改善亲密关系提供临床参考。 展开更多

目的了解某高职院校护生的人际关系现状,分析其影响因素,为学校制定相关教育策略提供依据。方法2023年1-7月采用分层整群抽样的方法,抽取750名山东省某职业院校在校护生为研究对象,采用人际关系综合诊断量表进行调查,对护生人口学特征... 目的了解某高职院校护生的人际关系现状,分析其影响因素,为学校制定相关教育策略提供依据。方法2023年1-7月采用分层整群抽样的方法,抽取750名山东省某职业院校在校护生为研究对象,采用人际关系综合诊断量表进行调查,对护生人口学特征、人际关系现状进行统计分析。结果研究对象人际关系得分为(14.76±5.01)分,4个维度的得分:人际交谈(3.91±1.49)分、人际交际(4.59±1.94)分、待人接物(3.41±0.98)分、异性交往(2.85±1.30)分,不同性别、生源性质、专业喜爱程度、是否担任学生干部、家庭经济状况、家人健康状况对人际关系有影响(P<0.05或P<0.01)。结论高职护生在人际交谈、人际交际、待人接物以及异性交往等方面均存在不同程度的困扰。 展开更多

目的:分析安徽省某三级甲等医院护士情绪管理能力与专业生活品质的关系。方法:采用一般资料调查问卷、护士情绪管理量表和专业生活品质量表(Pro-QOL)对780名护士进行调查。Pearson相关性分析护士情绪管理与Pro-QOL间的相关性,多重线性... 目的:分析安徽省某三级甲等医院护士情绪管理能力与专业生活品质的关系。方法:采用一般资料调查问卷、护士情绪管理量表和专业生活品质量表(Pro-QOL)对780名护士进行调查。Pearson相关性分析护士情绪管理与Pro-QOL间的相关性,多重线性分析护士情绪管理的影响因素。结果:护士情绪管理量表总得分为(51.39±6.38)分,Pro-QOL中慈心满意得分为(31.56±8.12)分,倦怠得分为(29.01±5.60)分,二次创伤维度得分为(26.57±6.12)分;护士情绪管理能力与慈心满意维度呈正相关(r=0.358,P<0.05),与Pro-QOL及倦怠、二次创伤维度呈负相关(r=-0.107~-0.417,P<0.05);多重线性回归分析结果显示,护理工作年限、慈心满意是护士情绪管理能力的保护因素,近半年平均月夜班数、倦怠是护士情绪管理能力的危险因素(均P<0.05),可解释总变异的38%。结论:护士情绪管理能力处于中等水平,专业生活品质有待提高,管理者需加以关注以提高情绪管理能力,缓解不良情绪。 展开更多

目的了解儿科护士实施人文关怀的真实体验,为促进对护士的关怀和提高护理质量提供参考。方法采用目的抽样法选取15名儿科护士进行半结构式访谈,运用Colaizzi 7步分析法提炼主题。结果儿科护士实施人文关怀过程中的体验归纳为3个主题及1... 目的了解儿科护士实施人文关怀的真实体验,为促进对护士的关怀和提高护理质量提供参考。方法采用目的抽样法选取15名儿科护士进行半结构式访谈,运用Colaizzi 7步分析法提炼主题。结果儿科护士实施人文关怀过程中的体验归纳为3个主题及11个亚主题,即正性体验(积极实施人文关怀、护患关系改善、职业认同感和价值感增强),负性体验(无奈与挫败、儿科护理人文关怀实践难度高),儿科护理人文关怀实践过程中的阻碍因素(专业技能及人文知识缺乏、工作负荷重、缺乏团队支持、缺乏评价标准、患儿家属信任与尊重的缺失、职场暴力)。结论儿科护士在工作中实施人文关怀较为积极,但也存在诸多障碍。需要加大对儿科护士人文关怀能力及专业知识的培训力度,加强团队合作,制定儿科护理人文关怀评价标准,同时注重对护士的关怀。 展开更多

目的探讨围手术期全面护理干预对胸腰椎骨折患者术后胃肠功能的影响。方法将金溪县人民医院2020年1月至2023年1月收治的80例胸腰椎骨折手术患者进行前瞻性研究,通过信封随机拆封的方式将患者分成观察组(n=40)及对照组(n=40);对照组行围... 目的探讨围手术期全面护理干预对胸腰椎骨折患者术后胃肠功能的影响。方法将金溪县人民医院2020年1月至2023年1月收治的80例胸腰椎骨折手术患者进行前瞻性研究,通过信封随机拆封的方式将患者分成观察组(n=40)及对照组(n=40);对照组行围手术期常规护理干预,观察组实施围手术期全面护理干预,比较两组患者术后胃肠功能的恢复情况及对护理服务的满意度。结果观察组胃肠功能肠鸣音恢复时间、首次排气时间、排便时间、正常饮食时间均短于对照组,术后3 d胃肠道功能分级优于对照组(均P<0.05)。观察组术后3 d内腹胀、便秘发生率均低于对照组(均P<0.05)。观察组术后4 d、7 d排便困难评分比较均低于对照组(均P<0.05)。观察组对于围手术期护理服务的满意度高于对照组(P<0.05)。结论在胸腰椎骨折患者的治疗中实施围手术期全面护理干预,能够加快患者术后胃肠功能的恢复并推动和谐护患关系的建立。 展开更多
