To reduce reality shock, it is necessary to clarify the discrepancy between the reality and the image of oneself after employment, which is the source of expectations. However, while there is a large body of literature on reality shock among nurses, no studies have specifically investigated student nurses’ image of post-employment confidence. We conducted semi-structured interviews with eight nursing students who had received job offers and 10 professional nurses up to two years after graduation to clarify the differences between the image that nursing students hold of themselves as employed nurses during the period immediately before employment and the reality that they find after employment. As a result, four core categories (with 25 categories) related to participants’ images of themselves as employed nurses were extracted: life after employment, adaptation to work, adaptation to the workplace, and career foundation-building. Fourteen categories were extracted regarding the reality that nurses found after employment;upon comparing and classifying these categories according to the four core categories, a lack of concreteness in the nursing students’ image of themselves as employed nurses was identified. The results suggest that support measures, both in the basic nursing education program and in clinical hospital practice, to improve the concreteness of the image that nursing students hold of themselves as employed nurses and of nursing work can reduce reality shock and prevent job turnover upon their entry into the workforce.展开更多

The results suggest that support measures, both in the basic nursing education program and in clinical hospital practice, to improve the concreteness of the image that nursing students hold of themselves as employed nurses and of nursing work can reduce reality shock and prevent job turnover upon their entry into the workforce.

文摘Objective:To explore the clinical application value of humanistic nursing care in the treatment of hematologic neoplasm inpatients.Methods:Fifty-two patients with hematologic neoplasms admitted to a hospital from May 2019 to February 2022 were selected as the research subjects.According to a random number table, they were divided into two groups:the control group(n=25,routine clinical nursing)and the observation group(n=27,humanistic nursing care). The negative emotion score, nursing satisfaction, and sleep quality were compared between the two groups under different nursing modes. Results:The SAS and SDS scores before and after nursing were compared between the two groups. There was no significant difference between the two groups before nursing(p>0.05).However,the SDS and SAS scores in the two groups after nursing were lower than those before nursing,in which the observation group was slightly lower than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.001).In terms of nursing satisfaction,it was as high as 96.29%in the observation group, whereas in the control group, the satisfaction rate was only 72.00%;the PSQI scores were compared between the two groups before and after nursing, and there was no significant difference between the two groups before nursing(p>0.05).However,the PSQI scores and total score of the observation group after nursing were lower than those of the control group(p<0.001).Conclusion:In the clinical treatment of patients with hematologic neoplasms, the implementation of humanistic nursing care can significantly improve patients’anxiety, depression, other negative emotions, sleep quality, and nursing satisfaction, all of which have significance in promoting the prognosis of patients and improving their quality of life.

文摘Background:Humanistic care ability is the core of nursing work.Improving humanistic care ability can improve patient satisfaction and the development of a nurse-patient relationships. Objective:To understand the current situation of humanistic care ability of first-year nursing students at Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the post-pandemic,and analyze its influencing factors. Methods:The Caring Ability Inventory scale(CAI)is used to survey 343 first-year nursing students.Descriptive analysis,t-test,analysis of variance, and multiple linear regression were used for data analysis. At the same time, the humanistic care ability of first-year nursing students before and after the COVID-19 was compared. Results:The average score of humanistic care ability of first-year nursing students is 173.23±11.288.Through multiple linear regression analysis, whether to hold a position has an impact on the humanistic care ability of nursing students after the COVID-19(P<0.05).Before and after the COVID-19,there were significant differences in total score and each dimension of humanistic care ability of first-year nursing students(P<0.001).Conclusion:The CAI score of the surveyed nursing students is at an intermediate level. In the post-pandemic,the courage dimension of nursing students has improved significantly. But the level of humanistic care ability still needs to be improved. Therefore,in the teaching process,a variety of teaching methods could be applied to improve nursing students'sense of responsibility, understanding and patience with humanistic care,so as to improve their humanistic care ability.
文摘Objectives:This paper aims to explore application effect of the dual-perspective care mode for safety and comfort needs in patients with magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)examination. Methods:A total of 132 patients with MRI examination who were admitted to our hospital from September 2018 to February 2020 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into control group and intervention group by random number table method, with 66 cases in each group.Patients in the control group received routine nursing care, while patients in the intervention group received the dual-perspective nursing care. The psychological state, nursing safety quality, nursing satisfaction, and quality of life scores of the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results:The Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)(32.05±2.63)and Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)(33.14±4.15)of patients in the intervention group receiving dual-perspective nursing mode were lower than those in the control group, and the improvement level of psychological states such as anxiety and depression was significantly better than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Intervention group patients in early treatment of dangerous situation(3.26±1.08),implementation of safety measures(3.32±1.15),prevention of accidental injury(3.17±0.95),and other eight nursing safety quality index scores were higher than the control group(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction of patients in the intervention group(93.94%)was significantly higher than that in the control group(75.76%),and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).In addition, the five life quality indexes of the intervention group were higher than those of the control group, including physiological(90.51±6.39),psychological(91.33±5.76),and emotional(90.45±5.39).Conclusion:The dual-perspective nursing intervention for the safety and comfort needs of patients with MRI examination can effectively improve the anxiety and depression in the diagnosis and treatment, ensure the safety and comfort of the examination process, improve patients'satisfaction with nursing,so as to ensure the effectiveness and accuracy of the examination results, which has great clinical application value.
