Research on the One-Stop Information Service Model for University Library

Following the advent of and continuous progress of technology,computer network and information management have gradually being incorporated into the daily operation and management of university libraries all around the world.The service system of university libraries has also transformed from the conventional reference consulting model into a knowledge-based service model.This transformation has improved the professionalism and individualism of university libraries.Therefore,establishing a competent one-stop information service model has significant and important values.In this work,we analyzed the basic functionalities and the feasibility of one-stop information service model for university libraries.We also discussed in details the construction methodology for different modes,for reference only.

Feasibility and Path Analysis of Integrating Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education into“One-Stop”Student Communities

The“one-stop”student community provides new support for innovation and entrepreneurship education in universities.Integrating innovation and entrepreneurship education into the“one-stop”student community work enriches course materials,integrates teacher resources,improves students’participation in innovation and entrepreneurship,and solves problems such as low student participation,lack of course resources,insufficient teacher resources,and single evaluation methods in traditional classrooms.Through various means such as exploring course resources,innovating management models,and strengthening team construction,the role of“one-stop”student communities in innovation and entrepreneurship education has been fully utilized,promoting the development of innovation and entrepreneurship education.

One-stop strategy for treatment of atrial fibrillation:feasibility and safety of combining catheter ablation and left atrial appendage closure in a single procedure

Background:Catheter ablation is effective in restoring sinus rhythm and left atrial appendage closure(LAAC)is increasingly used for stroke prevention in patients with atrial fibrillation(AF).We aimed to observe the feasibility and safety of performing AF ablation and LAAC in a single(one-stop)procedure.Methods:Consecutive AF patients who underwent the combined procedure of AF ablation and LAAC with WATCHMAN device between March 2017 and September 2018 were prospectively enrolled.Baseline and intra-procedural parameters were evaluated.Three-month and subsequent 1-year follow-up were performed in all and earlier-enrolled subjects,respectively.Results:A total of 178 AF patients(94 males,68.9±8.1 years)underwent the one-stop procedure with CHA2DS2-VASc score 3.3±1.5 and HAS-BLED score 1.6±1.0,respectively.Pulmonary vein isolation was achieved in all patients while additional linear ablation was applied if the operator deemed necessary,yielding immediate ablation success rate of 98.9%(176/178).In the subsequent LAAC,satisfactory seal(residual leak<5 mm)was achieved in all patients.One stroke and four cardiac perforations occurred peri-operatively.At 3-month follow-up,sinus rhythm and satisfactory seal were maintained in 153/178(86.0%)and 178/178(100%)patients,respectively.One stroke and one delayed cardiac tamponade occurred,while no device-related thrombus or device migration was observed.During the 1-year follow-up for the earlier enrolled subjects,52/72(72.2%)of the patients maintained sinus rhythm.There was no stroke or systemic embolism observed.Conclusion:Combining catheter ablation and LAAC in a single procedure can be successfully and safely performed in non-valvular AF patients of Chinese population.

COVID-ONE-hi:The One-stop Database for COVID-19-specific Humoral Immunity and Clinical Parameters

Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),which is caused by SARS-CoV-2,varies with regard to symptoms and mortality rates among populations.Humoral immunity plays critical roles in SARS-CoV-2 infection and recovery from COVID-19.However,differences in immune responses and clinical features among COVID-19 patients remain largely unknown.Here,we report a database for COVID-19-specific IgG/IgM immune responses and clinical parameters(named COVID-ONE-hi).COVID-ONE-hi is based on the data that contain the IgG/IgM responses to 24 full-length/truncated proteins corresponding to 20 of 28 known SARS-CoV-2 proteins and 199 spike protein peptides against 2360 serum samples collected from 783 COVID-19 patients.In addition,96 clinical parameters for the 2360 serum samples and basic information for the 783 patients are integrated into the database.Furthermore,COVID-ONE-hi provides a dashboard for defining samples and a one-click analysis pipeline for a single group or paired groups.A set of samples of interest is easily defined by adjusting the scale bars of a variety of parameters.After the“START”button is clicked,one can readily obtain a comprehensive analysis report for further interpretation.COVID-ONE-hi is freely available at www.COVID-ONE.cn.

湖北NQI一站式服务站建设浅析

In order to promote the coordinated development of metrology,standards,certification and accreditation,inspection and testing,Hubei province has accelerated the construction of NQI,and established three one-stop service stations in 2021.This paper compares the situation of the three one-stop service stations in Hubei province,points out the problems in the construction of the one-stop service model,and proposes corresponding measures to achieve a positive interaction in various fields,which is expected to provide quality diagnosis services to enterprises,and create social and economic benefits.

Studies and Practices on Cloud-Based Practical Teaching Unified Services System and Teaching Mode

Traditional practical teaching has problems on low reusability, high cost and low collaboration ability. To solve these problems, this paper proposes a solution that is to build and use a novel practical teaching platform based on cloud computing. By utilizing advanced information technology, for example, cloud computing, this solution can present a unified service system providing practical teaching resource management, innovation resource management and knowledge management both inside and outside class. Moreover, an instance implementing the cloud-based practical teaching unified services system, Yun Hai, would be detailedly discussed in this paper. The system deployment, resource configuration and matched practice teaching mode will be presented. Yun Hai is independently developed by State Key Laboratory of Networking and Switching Technology and has been deployed and employed in many institutions. To verify the effectiveness of this teaching platform, we take Data Mining, a representative course of computer science, as an example, and analyze how the system would perform when applied to such course which contains cross-disciplinary knowledges. The practice indicates that this teaching system and practical teaching mode can improve convenience and flexibility on practical teaching resource. This kind of one-stop service can contribute to the overall teaching quality improvement.

From institutional merger integration to institutional strategic transformation:A case study of the strategic management paradigm at Shanghai Library

This article attempts to apply the strategic management theory to the subsequent shaping up of a readjusted strategic development policy for Shanghai Library after its merger with the Institute of Scientific and Technological Information of Shanghai(ISTIS)in 1995.It also tries to analyze and explicate such an empirical implementation of institutional reintegration process through strategic management at Shanghai Metropolitan Library.By doing so,it aims to present an objective case study of activities based on the strategic management paradigm at a major Chinese metropolitan public library.

Assessing the impact of TB/HIV services integration on TB treatment outcomes and their relevance in TB/HIV monitoring in Ghana

Background:The impact of the human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)on tuberculosis(TB),and the implications for TB and HIV control,is a public health challenge in Ghana-almost a quarter(23%)of all TB cases were HIV positive in 2010.The integration of TB/HIV services has therefore emerged as an essential component of the national response to TB and HIV.The aim is to reduce fragmentation,improve access,enhance efficiency and improve quality of care.Ghana’s TB/HIV policy comprises three linked sets of activities:effective implementation of the Stop TB Strategy for TB control,improved HIV prevention and care,and the implementation of additional TB/HIV activities.Different models of service delivery with increasing integration of TB/HIV activities are expected to provide greater access to more comprehensive care.The objective of this paper is to assess the impact of TB/HIV integration on TB treatment outcomes and to explore the usefulness of TB treatment outcomes as TB/HIV indicators.Methods:A before-and-after study to observe the introduction of TB/HIV activities into TB programmes in three hospitals with different levels of integration was conducted.Anonymised patient data was collated from TB registers from each facility,and analysed to determine if TB treatment outcomes changed significantly after integration.Results:TB treatment success was 50%(95%CI 49-52)prior to,and 69%(95%CI 65-73)after,integration(Χ243.96,p<0.00).Treatment success increased from 43%to 53%at the one-stop shop(OSS),from 69%to 78%at the partially integrated site(PIS)and substantially from 46%to 78%at the referral site(RS)(Χ264.54;p<0.01).Defaults and cases transferred out reduced from 14.3%and 15.3%prior to integration,to 1.4%and 9.0%after integration,respectively,accounting for a significant increase in treatment success.Death rates remained high at 18%in all cases studied and 25%in HIV-associated cases after integration.Conclusion:TB/HIV integration may improve TB treatment success,but its exact impact is difficult to ascertain due to non-specificity and design limitations.TB mortality may be more useful as an indicator for monitoring TB/HIV activities in Ghana.
