Rules-based object-relational databases ontology construction

To solve the problems of sharing and reusing information in the information system, a rules-based ontology constructing approach from object-relational databases is proposed. A 3-tuple ontology constructing model is proposed first. Then, four types of ontology constructing rules including class, property, property characteristics, and property restrictions are formalized according to the model. Experiment results described in Web ontology language prove that our proposed approach is feasible for applying in the semantic objects project of semantic computing laboratory in UC Irvine. Our approach reduces about twenty percent constructing time compared with the ontology construction from relational databases.

PORLES:A Parallel Object Relational Database System

We developed a parallel object relational DBMS named PORLES. It uses BSP model as its parallel computing model, and monoid calculus as its basis of data model. In this paper, we introduce its data model, parallel query optimization, transaction processing system and parallel access method in detail.

Fuzzy topological relations between fuzzy spatial objects

Fuzziness is an internal property of spatial objects.How to model fuzziness of a spatial object is a main task of next generation GIS.This paper proposes basic fuzzy spatial object types based on fuzzy topology.These object types are the natural extension of current nonfuzzy spatial object types.A fuzzy cell complex structure is defined for modeling fuzzy regions,lines and points.Furthermore,fuzzy topological relations between these fuzzy spatial objects are formalized based on the 9intersection approach.This model can be implemented for GIS applications due to its scientific theory basis.

Study on Logical Relations amongUnderground Survey Objects Using Quotient Topological Space

A soitable data model and data structure make underground survey objects maintained and operated easier. This paper gives a formal definition for underground survey objects. By making use of the quotient topological space, the author studies the logical relations among underground survey objects, a partiallyordered space uuder some conditions. An example is given to show the data model’s possible applications.

DEALING WITH SPATIAL RELATIONS FOR SPATIAL OBJECTS WITH RANDOMNESS IN GIS

To design retrieval algorithm of spatial relations for spatial objects with randomness in GIS,this paper builds up the membership functions based on set theory idea,used for determination of topological spatial relations between random objects,such as between point and point,point and line or polygon,which provides theoretical basis for retrieving spatial relations between certain and random objects.Finally,this paper interprets detailed methods and steps of realizing them by means of some simple examples under the GIS’s environment.

Mapping of Freshwater Lake Wetlands Using Object-Relations and Rule-based Inference

Inland freshwater lake wetlands play an important role in regional ecological balance.Hongze Lake is the fourth biggest freshwater lake in China.In the past three decades,there has been significant loss of freshwater wetlands within the lake and at the mouths of neighboring rivers,due to disturbance,primarily from human activities.The main purpose of this paper was to explore a practical technology for differentiating wetlands effectively from upland types in close proximity to them.In the paper,an integrated method,which combined per-pixel and per-field classification,was used for mapping wetlands of Hongze Lake and their neighboring upland types.Firstly,Landsat ETM+ imagery was segmented and classified by using spectral and textural features.Secondly,ETM+ spectral bands,textural features derived from ETM+ Pan imagery,relative relations between neighboring classes,shape features,and elevation were used in a decision tree classification.Thirdly,per-pixel classification results from the decision tree classifier were improved by using classification results from object-oriented classification as a context.The results show that the technology has not only overcome the salt-and-pepper effect commonly observed in the past studies,but also has improved the accuracy of identification by nearly 5%.

Quality of object relations modifies the effectiveness of short- and long-term psychotherapy on self-concept

The quality of object relations affects interpersonal behaviour, but it is not known whether it modifies effectiveness on personality functioning in psychotherapies of different mode and length. In this study we estimated the modifying effect of the quality of object relations on the effect of solution-focused therapy (SFT) and shortand long-term psychodynamic psychotherapy (SPP and LPP) on self-concept. A total of 326 patients were assessed at baseline with the Quality of Object Relations Scale (QORS) and 4 times during a 3-year follow-up with the Structural Analysis of Social Behavior self-concept questionnaire, comprising altogether 10 scores on different aspects of self-concept pathology. The effectiveness of SFT, but not SPP, was significantly poorer in several domains (5/10) of self-concept for patients with low QORS, i.e. those with less mature relational patterns, than for patients with high QORS, while the reversal occurred in some (3/10) self-concept domains in LPP. The results suggest that the quality of object relations has significance for treatment selection in therapies with different mode and length.

Argument Ambiguities Make Subject Relative Clause More Difficult to Process than Object Relative Clause in Mandarin

Relative clauses(RCs)processing has been a hot issue in decades.Studies from head-initial languages have found that SRCs were easier to comprehend than ORCs,and many different models were constructed to account for SRCs preference.Chinese are head-final languages and the head noun phrases are behind the internal-clause.Such a great difference in syntactic structure made Chinese to be the optimum material to test the models mentioned above.In the paper,two experiments were carried out using eye-movement tracking methods to explore the difficulty with RCs processing in mandarin,and results showed that:when the two noun phrases were both from animate category,SRCs were more difficult than ORCs,but when the noun phrases in the internal-relative-clause were inanimate and the noun phrases in the matrix were animate,the difficulties with SRCs were greatly reduced.Based on these findings,we hold that the linear syntactic distance between the gap and the filler was not the key reason to the difficulty with SRCs.On the contrary,the ambiguity in argument construction may be the most important.

Research on the Mapping Technology of CIM and Relational Database in Power Grid

With the development of electric power industry,the requirement of information sharing and application integration between each application system is salience.To realize the real "sharing information,data maintenance uniform",and effectively eliminate "island of information",a standard,open information model of power system should be followed urgently by different systems,and a common data interface should be provided.The Common Information Model(CIM) proposed by standard of IEC-61970 solve the problem effectively.The characteristics of the CIM Model and relational database of power system are analyzed,a mapping method between CIM model based on standard of IEC61970 and relational database is proposed,and corresponding problems between object-oriented model and the relational model are solved flexiblely.

Network Analysis Modeling Towards GIS Based on Object-Relation Database

This paper compares the differences between the mathematical model in graph theory and GIS network analysis model. Thus it claims that the GIS network analysis model needs to solve. Then this paper introduces the spatial data management methods in object\|relation database for GIS and discusses its effects on the network analysis model. Finally it puts forward the GIS network analysis model based on the object\|relation database. The structure of the model is introduced in detail and research is done to the internal and external memory data structure of the model. The results show that it performs well in practice.

PCATNet: Position-Class Awareness Transformer for Image Captioning

Existing image captioning models usually build the relation between visual information and words to generate captions,which lack spatial infor-mation and object classes.To address the issue,we propose a novel Position-Class Awareness Transformer(PCAT)network which can serve as a bridge between the visual features and captions by embedding spatial information and awareness of object classes.In our proposal,we construct our PCAT network by proposing a novel Grid Mapping Position Encoding(GMPE)method and refining the encoder-decoder framework.First,GMPE includes mapping the regions of objects to grids,calculating the relative distance among objects and quantization.Meanwhile,we also improve the Self-attention to adapt the GMPE.Then,we propose a Classes Semantic Quantization strategy to extract semantic information from the object classes,which is employed to facilitate embedding features and refining the encoder-decoder framework.To capture the interaction between multi-modal features,we propose Object Classes Awareness(OCA)to refine the encoder and decoder,namely OCAE and OCAD,respectively.Finally,we apply GMPE,OCAE and OCAD to form various combinations and to complete the entire PCAT.We utilize the MSCOCO dataset to evaluate the performance of our method.The results demonstrate that PCAT outperforms the other competitive methods.

自贸港背景下高校涉外法律人才培养的目标与路径

在海南自贸港背景下,海南与世界各国之间交流合作日益频繁,涉外法律问题日益凸显。运用文献资料法、逻辑分析法等研究方法,对涉外法律人才的内涵、需求及人才培养目标与优化路径进行分析。研究认为,涉外法律人才培养目标应从拥有完善的知识结构、有较强的法律实践能力、具备良好的职业素养、需要较高的外语能力等四个方面设定培养目标。在此基础上,从英语语言的角度提出高校人才培养的两条优化路径:初级阶段,普及法律英语;中高阶段,实施双语法律教学。

论客体对数据基本产权和分类确权的决定作用

数据二十条构建了基本数据产权,但要进一步确权立法,必须依据数据关系客体的不同对数据基本产权作出总体规定,并应根据客体类型作出分别规定。数据及其产品是新型民事关系客体,可被多人同时使用,其财产关系依合同产生具有相对性,这一客观规律决定数据产权为不同于所有权的有限产权。数据产权包括人格性权利和财产性权利,财产性权利以人格性权利为基础。数据确权立法的基本框架包括数据流通中当事人享有的数据持有权、加工使用权、数据产品经营权等基本数据财产权,著作类电子产品当事人的权利,数据直接生成产品当事人的权利,货币结算与比特币的规定,法院管辖、涉外法律适用、仲裁等内容。

一体化视角下涉毒类社区矫正对象矫正工作的实践难点及破解路径——兼论社区矫正与戒毒模式之间的协作

涉毒类社区矫正对象是社区矫正对象中的特殊群体,具有身患疾病多、毒瘾戒断难、再犯风险高、社会排斥大等特点,需要予以特别关注。我国现行社区矫正法律规范并未专门规定涉毒类社区矫正对象及特别的矫正措施,社区矫正制度与不同戒毒模式之间存在适用界限,加之现有社区矫正工作人员数量有限及戒毒专业知识不足,导致实践中矫正此类群体工作难度大,增加了监管压力与社会风险。立法机关适时完善法律规范,增加针对涉毒类社区矫正对象的特殊条款及相应的矫正措施,为矫正特殊群体提供指导与保障;同时,从一体化视角出发,社区矫正机构整合不同戒毒模式的优势资源,促进社区矫正与戒毒模式间的协作,以提高教育矫正质量与刑事执行效果。

两阶段云服务组合优化算法及其应用研究

针对目前云服务市场中如何快速有效为客户提供最优组合云服务问题,提出一种包括灰色关联和自适应遗传算法的两阶段云服务组合优化算法。首先根据用户云服务需求,利用灰色关联分析对云服务进行初步筛选形成候选云服务集;其次建立时间最短、成本最低、可用性、互操作性、可扩展性和满意度最佳的多目标决策模型,采用自适应遗传算法求解模型,确定最优云服务组合方案;最后通过算例证明该算法在解决最佳云服务组合方面的合理性和科学性。

基于HTTP请求的ORM性能优化研究

针对对象关系映射工具,提出一种性能优化方法,该方法使得对象关系映射工具通过统计在HTTP请求处理过程中加载的和实际使用的对象字段,在后续请求处理中仅加载必需的对象字段,从而提升应用程序持久层性能。将改进过的对象关系映射工具应用到开源电子商务示例应用程序XPETSTORE后,HTTP请求响应时间平均降低8%。

采用ORM技术的软件开发方法研究

首先介绍对象模型与关系模型的两个基本定义并推出两者之间的映射函数,然后通过UML建立对象模型与关系模型的映射,最后介绍一种实现关系数据库与对象之间自动映射的ORM技术,说明采用ORM框架的软件开发总体设计和关键技术。

一个基于类型元数据的轻量级ORM框架设计

关系对象映射框架为消除对象和关系数据库之间的阻抗提供了有效的解决方案,目前虽有很多优秀的ORM框架已得到广泛的应用,但ORM的一些固有缺陷,如繁琐的配置文件和关联域模型、过度复杂的持久层API和性能低下的缓存结构,对项目开发产生了一定的负面影响,也增加了学习成本。该文针对ORM的上述缺陷,设计并实现了基于类型元数据的轻量级ORM框架Speed,它使用约定规则和类型元数据反射技术完全消除了ORM映射文件,采用简单高效的对象标识缓存和查询缓存,有效地提高了系统性能,并结合实际系统阐述了如何使用Speed的简单API实现ORM的快速开发。
