The impact of modeling techniques and software engineering practices on SAD has been the focus of research for many years. Two such techniques that have had a significant impact on SAD are Unified Modeling Language (UML) and machine learning. UML has been used to model the structure and behavior of software systems, while machine learning has been used to automatically learn patterns in data and make predictions. The purpose of this paper is to review the literature on the impact of UML and machine learning on SAD. We summarize the findings from several studies and highlight the key insights related to the benefits and limitations of these techniques for SAD. Our review shows that both UML and machine learning have had a positive impact on SAD, with UML improving communication and documentation, and machine learning improving the accuracy of predictions. However, there are also challenges associated with their use, such as the need for expertise and the difficulty of interpreting machine learning models. Our findings suggest that a combination of UML and machine learning can enhance SAD by leveraging the strengths of each technique.展开更多

However current approaches to this direction usually require a long learning curve, and their development lacks standardization. This results in software components that are difficult to reuse, and hard to maintain or extend. In order to overcome such issues, we propose a novel object-oriented framework for efficient development of software systems for video analysis. It consists of a set of four abstract components, suitable for the implementation of independent plug-in modules for video acquisition, preprocessing, analysis and output handling. The extensibility of each module can be facilitated by sub-modules specifying additional functionalities. Among them, the finite element method presents more flexibility to deal with the irregularly shaped workpieces. Anisotropy of permeability has reconstructive effects on well patterns. The originally designed flooding units are broken up, and new pattern units are made up of the wells that belong to different original units. The behavior possesses strong randomness, and leads to a complicated relationship among the injection and production wells, and unpredictable productivity of the formations. To prevent the break-up of well patterns, well lines should be either parallel or perpendicular to the maximum principal direction of the anisotropic permeability (i.e. the fracture direction). To optimize the development effects ofanisotropic formations, the latitudinal and longitudinal well spacing of the well network are calculated from the principal values of the anisotropic permeability.展开更多

However, there may exist complex interaction between parameters and practical engineering system. With the increase of the number of parameters, it is getting hard to determine high-dimensional curves and robust control methods, thus it's difficult to get the robust design solutions. In this paper, a method of global sensitivity analysis based on divided variables in groups is proposed. By making relevant variables in one group and keeping each other independent among sets of variables, global sensitivity analysis is conducted in grouped variables and the importance of parameters is evaluated by calculating the contribution value of each parameter to the total variance of system response. By ranking the importance of input parameters, relatively important parameters are chosen to conduct robust design analysis of the system. By applying this method to the robust optimization design of a real complex nonlinear system-a vehicle occupant restraint system with multi-parameter, good solution is gained and the response variance of the objective function is reduced to 0.01, which indicates that the robustness of the occupant restraint system is improved in a great degree and the method is effective and valuable for the robust design of complex nonlinear system. This research proposes a new method which can be used to obtain solutions for complex nonlinear system robust design.展开更多

The magnetorheological response of MR fluids results from the polarization induced in suspended particles by application of an external magnetic field. The interaction between the induced dipoles causes the particles to form columnar structure, parallel to the applied field. These chain-like structures restrict the motion of fluids, thereby increasing the viscosity and yield stress of the MR fluids. These mechanical characteristics allow for the construction of magnetically controlled device such as the MR fluids rotary brakes. However, there has been little information published about the design of MR fluid brakes. In this paper the design of the cylindrical MR fluid brake is investigated theoretically. Bingham model is used to characterize the constitutive behaviors of the MR fluids subject to an external magnetic field. The operational principle of the cylindrical MR fluid brake is presented. The theoretical method is developed to analyze the transmission properties of the torque of the cylindrical MR fluid brake. An engineering expression for the torque is derived to provide the theoretical foundations in the design of the cylindrical MR fluid brake. Based on this equation the volume and thickness of the annular MR fluids within the brake is expressed as functions of the desired ratio of torques with saturated magnetic field and without external field, the controlled mechanical power and the MR fluid material properties. The parameters of the thickness and width of the fluid in the brake can be calculated from the obtained equations when the required mechanical power level, the desired torque ratio are specified.展开更多

This research proposes a new method which can be used to obtain solutions for complex nonlinear system robust design.
文摘Magnetorheological (MR) fluids consist of stable suspensions of magnetic particles in a carrying fluid such as water or silicone oils. The parameters of the thickness and width of the fluid in the brake can be calculated from the obtained equations when the required mechanical power level, the desired torque ratio are specified.
