A library of object classes for a flexible manufacturing system(FMS) simulation has been developed using the technology of object-oriented programming. Using the library, the simulation software of a FMS which has the same manufacturing logic with the FMS control system can be easily constructed. Most of the current numerical solutions are based on finite-element/finite-difference/boundary-element/volume-control methods and the surface model. This paper discusses the development of an integrated CAE system for injection molding in detail, and presents the mathematics for numerical simulation of filling, packing, cooling, stress and warpage in injection molding. A FMS (flexible manufacturing system)scheduling algorithm based on an evolution algorithm (EA) is developed by intensively analyzing and researching the scheduling method in this paper.Many factors related to FMS scheduling are considered sufficiently.New explanations for a common kind of the encoding model are given.The rationality of encoding model is ensured by designing a set of new encoding methods,while the simulation experiment is performed.The results show that a FMS scheduling optimum problem with multi-constraint conditions can be effectively solved by a FMS scheduling simulation model based on EA.Compating this method with others,this algorithm has the advantage of good stability and quick convergence. 展开更多

A GIS-Based 3D Simulation for Occupant Evacuation in a Building

This paper presents a computation... The evacuation efficiency of building plans is of obvious importance to the public safety. The complexity of building plans, however, makes it difficult for the efficiency evaluation. This paper presents a computational model AutoEscape, which can simulate the evacuation process for any given occupant distribution in buildings. Designed as an extensible multi-level structure, the model constructs the geometry level and occupant level and establishes the interactions between levels. The GIS-based environmental analysis is realized to automatically generate the geometric representation and formulate the cognition of agents. The multi-agent based technology is employed to simulate the crowd behaviors with autonomously acting individuals. A visualization component, which provides 3D free observations for the simulation process, is developed on the platform of OGRE and integrated into the system interface in form of ActiveX control. Finally, a case study has been conducted and the results have been compared with the results of an existing model to show the reliability and capacity of AutoEscape simulation. 展开更多

针对仿真培训系统实时性的要求,在IEC 61970 CIM公共信息模型的基础上,通过在电力设备之间定义连接端的方式实现设备连接建模,从而建立了集控站仿真培训系统的面向对象的数据模型.设计了一个常驻内存的实时面向对象数据库系统(MMRT-OOD... 针对仿真培训系统实时性的要求,在IEC 61970 CIM公共信息模型的基础上,通过在电力设备之间定义连接端的方式实现设备连接建模,从而建立了集控站仿真培训系统的面向对象的数据模型.设计了一个常驻内存的实时面向对象数据库系统(MMRT-OODB),利用Windows NT操作系统内存管理技术,把整个数据库映射进虚拟存储空间,避免了数据结构的转化.同时提出了内存映射、线程同步、数据一致性与并发控制等一些高性能MMRT-00DB的关键实现技术.结果表明,数据库常驻内存,采用一体化的单一级储存结构,并在客户端缓存数据,能使数据库系统性能得到很大的提高. 展开更多
