The UV-vis...Two novel mono-nuclear zinc(Ⅱ) complexes with oligoaniline-functionalized terpyridine ligands have been synthesized and verified by 1H-NMR,13C-NMR,Elemental Analysis (EA) and X-ray Diffraction (XRD). The UV-vis spectra show the ligand-centered (LC) π-π* transitions and intra-ligand charge transfer (1ILCT) transitions,and the 1ILCT band red-shifts with the increasing number of aromatic amine groups in the ligands. Complex [Zn(L1)2](PF6)2 with an aromatic amine group in ligand shows a strong emission peak at 523 nm in the MeCN solution at 293 K and a blue-shifted band at 517 nm in the alcoholic glass at 77 K. However,for complex [Zn(L2)2](PF6)2 containing aniline dimer modified ligand,no apparent emission can be observed in the MeCN solution at room temperature due to a PET non-radiative decay pathway. Both of them show multiplicate redox processes based on oligoaniline and terpyridine units. The shifts of redox potentials also reflect the D-A interactions between the oligoaniline units and [Zn(TPY)2]2+ core.展开更多

In this paper, we present a photo-responsive LC-vitrimer by simply introducing a photo- thermal agent aniline trimer into the LC-vitrimer system. As aniline trimer acts as a curing agent, it can be homogeneously dispersed in the material, avoiding aggregation which commonly happens to nano- fillers. As a result, the resultant polymer not only can perform three light-controlled functions (welding, healing and shape memory), but also can be prepared into aligned monodomain LC actuators with strains of about 40%-45%.展开更多
A novel poly(ether sulfone) with oligoaniline pendants(PESOP) was prepared by KaCO3-mediated nucleophilic polycondensation and characterized with Fourier-transform infrared spectrometry(FTIR), 1H nuclear magneti...A novel poly(ether sulfone) with oligoaniline pendants(PESOP) was prepared by KaCO3-mediated nucleophilic polycondensation and characterized with Fourier-transform infrared spectrometry(FTIR), 1H nuclear magnetic resonance(1H NMR) and gel permeation chromatography(GPC). The cyclic voltammetry(CV) curve of PESOP reveals the reversible electroactivity. In the electrochromism study, PESOP film exhibited good electroch- romic properties with a high contrast value, moderate switching time and acceptable coloration efficiency. After running 1000 cycles, the PESOP/indium-tin oxide(ITO) electrochromic device remained unchanged except for the drifting of base line, which certified its good electro-photo stability of the fabricated electrochromic device. Moreover, the polarization technique and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS) were used to study the anticorrosion performance of PESOP coatings on the cold rolled steel(CRS) in a 5%(mass fraction) NaCI solution. All the results indicate that the obtained PESOP is a competitive candidate as anticorrosion material.展开更多

The chemical structure of ...A series of polyureas were synthesized through the reaction of aniline trimer with toluene-diisocyanate, diphenylmethane-4,4'-diisocyanate, and hexamethylene-l,6-diisocyanate, respectively. The chemical structure of these polyureas was characterized and verified by FT-IR, ^1H NMR, elemental analysis, UV, XRD and CV. The conductivity of these polyureas ranged from 10^-7 to 10^-6 S/cm measured by four-point-probe instrument. Compared to the standalone aniline trimer, the stability (thermal stability and electrochemical stability), response range and sensitivity of these polyureas are enhanced. The sensitivity of these polyureas DMF solution to pH value is superior to that of the standalone aniline trimer. The color of the polyureas DMF solution is greatly depended on pH value and the color change process is reversible, whenever from base to acid or from acid to base. These enhance- ments may give these polyureas more opportunities in order to be used as sensor materials.展开更多
