We collected 174 specimens of the genus Platycephalus from Chinese coastal waters of Dongyi...A new record of Platycephalus sp.1 (sensu Nakabo, 2002) was documented based on morphological characters and DNA barcoding. We collected 174 specimens of the genus Platycephalus from Chinese coastal waters of Dongying, Qingdao, Zhoushan, and Beihai. Samples were identified as Platycephalus sp. 1 morphologically. The coloration, meristic traits, and morphometric measurements are consistent with previously published records. In brief, it is an orange-brown flathead fish with dark brown spots scattered on head and body, lateral line scales 83 to 99 with one or two spine-bearing anteriormost pored scale, no yellow blotch on the caudal fin. Cytochrome oxidase I subunit (COI) gene fragments were sequenced for phylogenetic analysis. The mean evolutionary distance within the species Platycephalus sp. 1 was 0.1%. Net evolutionary distances between Platycephalus sp. 1 and other species of Platycephalus ranged from 10.8% to 19.7%, which is much greater than the threshold for species delimitation. The COl sequence analysis strongly supports the validity ofPlatyceohalus sp. 1 at genetic level.展开更多

In this paper, we give a brief introduction of networks, then follow the original works by Tsonis et al (2004, 2006) starting with data of the surface temperature from 160 Chinese weather observations to investigate the topology of Chinese climate networks. Results show that the Chinese climate network exhibits a characteristic of regular, almost fully connected networks, which means that most nodes in this case have the same number of links, and so-called super nodes with a very large number of links do not exist there. In other words, though former results show that nodes in the extratropical region provide a property of scale-free networks, they still have other different local fine structures inside. We also detect the community of the Chinese climate network by using a Bayesian technique; the effective number of communities of the Chinese climate network is about four in this network. More importantly, this technique approaches results in divisions which have connections with physics and dynamics; the division into communities may highlight the aspects of the dynamics of climate variability.展开更多

The mean levels of serum hyaluronic acid, procollagen peptide III and circulating immune complex were decreased and returned to normal after the treatment. Based on the analysis of ancient character features, a method for structural character recognition is proposed. The important characteristics of strokes and basic components or radicals used in recognition are introduced in detail. Method The cultural archetypes and the theories of big and small traditions are adopted to sort out the mythological beliefs in the former architectural forms of the big traditions and the ethical narrative system carried by the buildings in the small cultural traditional societies. In the architectural archetypes dominated by big and small cultural traditions, the thinking of “archetypes and ethics” is found to be a homologous gene, which confirms the universal significance of the spirit of Chinese Confucian ethics to the power of Chinese civilization flowing and inheriting and human morality. Conclusion The structure of Chinese characters has the function of “recording” and “interpreting”, and the mythological thinking of architectural form materials, understands the ultimate transformation of cultural archetypes in creation, and guides the value of the traditional architectural design of “bringing out goodness and symbiosis” in the contemporary era. Based on Arwood's neuroeducation model of language learning, this research evaluated the effect of imagery in Chinese character writing by English-speaking adolescent students. After comparing imagery effects under three instructional conditions (i.e., English translation, pictorial presentation, and verbal-contextual interpretation), the results showed that the use of imagery predicted significantly better writing results in the immediate and one-week writing tests, but not in the four-week writing test. Cognitive analyses found that imagery was commonly used as a mediational strategy in the pictorial and verbal-contextual methods in the early learning phases. The pictorial method mainly elicited perceptual visual patterns which failed to support sustained memory. For a better character encoding and retrieval, images had to be generated associated with sufficient and relevant contextual information.展开更多

In brief, it is an orange-brown flathead fish with dark brown spots scattered on head and body, lateral line scales 83 to 99 with one or two spine-bearing anteriormost pored scale, no yellow blotch on the caudal fin. Cytochrome oxidase I subunit (COI) gene fragments were sequenced for phylogenetic analysis. The mean evolutionary distance within the species Platycephalus sp. 1 was 0.1%. Net evolutionary distances between Platycephalus sp. 1 and other species of Platycephalus ranged from 10.8% to 19.7%, which is much greater than the threshold for species delimitation. The COl sequence analysis strongly supports the validity ofPlatyceohalus sp. 1 at genetic level.

文摘Complex networks have been studied across many fields of science in recent years. In this paper, we give a brief introduction of networks, then follow the original works by Tsonis et al (2004, 2006) starting with data of the surface temperature from 160 Chinese weather observations to investigate the topology of Chinese climate networks. Results show that the Chinese climate network exhibits a characteristic of regular, almost fully connected networks, which means that most nodes in this case have the same number of links, and so-called super nodes with a very large number of links do not exist there. In other words, though former results show that nodes in the extratropical region provide a property of scale-free networks, they still have other different local fine structures inside. We also detect the community of the Chinese climate network by using a Bayesian technique; the effective number of communities of the Chinese climate network is about four in this network. More importantly, this technique approaches results in divisions which have connections with physics and dynamics; the division into communities may highlight the aspects of the dynamics of climate variability.
文摘48 patients with liver fibrosis due to hepatitis B were treated for 2 years with the drugs for tonifying the kidney, supplementing qi, cooling and invigorating the blood and detoxification. The symptoms were markedly improved, and serum ALT and bilirubin were recovered and kept normal in most of the cases. The mean levels of serum hyaluronic acid, procollagen peptide III and circulating immune complex were decreased and returned to normal after the treatment. B-ultrasonography showed that the portal vein kept in normal size in 82% of the patients, the enlarged portal vein diminished in diameter, and the enlarged spleen reduced.
文摘This paper is an attempt to reveal the complexity of the character of Hamlet in Shakespeare's tragedy-Hamlet and the importance of the role that his pretense of lunacy plays in the plot. The different sides of his personality are revealed by the analysis of some of Hamlet's behavior. The argument is also established that the hero's pretense of lunacy is a device in the plot which allows the full display of the character's complexity.

文摘Ancient Chinese characters, typically the ideographic characters on bones and bronze before Shang Dynasty(16th—11th century B.C.), are valuable culture legacy of history. However the recognition of Ancient Chinese characters has been the task of paleography experts for long. With the help of modern computer technique, everyone can expect to be able to recognize the characters and understand the ancient inscriptions. This research is aimed to help people recognize and understand those ancient Chinese characters by combining Chinese paleography theory and computer information processing technology. Based on the analysis of ancient character features, a method for structural character recognition is proposed. The important characteristics of strokes and basic components or radicals used in recognition are introduced in detail. A system was implemented based on above method to show the effectiveness of the method.

文摘Chinese mythology with its profound cultural asserts and the unconstrained imagination is an indispensable factor in animation creation.The rich resources of myth in ancient China provided a broad space for the creation of animation film and inherited a long ethnic culture.Firstly,the study creates an animation mythological character design model according to the literature review to provide the operational theory for animation design,which consists of three main parts:central idea,research method,and conceptual model.Secondly,the research sums up the animation character creative process framework through the case of Shisa with the specific ideas of creative design.Four steps are used to design a mythological character:set a scenario(illustration),tell a story(interpretation),write a script(reaction),and design a character(reflection).It has analyzed how to integrate the information about the mythology and stimulate the designers’creative imagination in the animation character design in order to create the artworks with unique oriental charm.
文摘Objective Through the metaphorical archetypal spirit and mythological semantics of Chinese character structure, this paper explores the metaphorical mythological gene and the moral order of the Chinese character structure, geographical thinking and aesthetic orientation of the mythological prototypes derived from the Chinese characters. Method The cultural archetypes and the theories of big and small traditions are adopted to sort out the mythological beliefs in the former architectural forms of the big traditions and the ethical narrative system carried by the buildings in the small cultural traditional societies. In the architectural archetypes dominated by big and small cultural traditions, the thinking of “archetypes and ethics” is found to be a homologous gene, which confirms the universal significance of the spirit of Chinese Confucian ethics to the power of Chinese civilization flowing and inheriting and human morality. Conclusion The structure of Chinese characters has the function of “recording” and “interpreting”, and the mythological thinking of architectural form materials, understands the ultimate transformation of cultural archetypes in creation, and guides the value of the traditional architectural design of “bringing out goodness and symbiosis” in the contemporary era. To relieve the material pursuit of spiritual enjoyment at that moment, to promote cultural heritage and the role of social treatment, to build cultural identity and the spiritual transcendence of the existence value of space ethics and the overall social and cultural identity.
文摘Using imagery as a strategy for language learning may be helpful to encode linguistic forms into conceptual networks for long-term memory. Based on Arwood's neuroeducation model of language learning, this research evaluated the effect of imagery in Chinese character writing by English-speaking adolescent students. After comparing imagery effects under three instructional conditions (i.e., English translation, pictorial presentation, and verbal-contextual interpretation), the results showed that the use of imagery predicted significantly better writing results in the immediate and one-week writing tests, but not in the four-week writing test. Cognitive analyses found that imagery was commonly used as a mediational strategy in the pictorial and verbal-contextual methods in the early learning phases. The pictorial method mainly elicited perceptual visual patterns which failed to support sustained memory. For a better character encoding and retrieval, images had to be generated associated with sufficient and relevant contextual information.
