English is an important course in colleges,and students’proficiency in the language can significantly affect their learning in multiple disciplines.At present,offline classroom teaching is still the primary mode of college English teaching,and online teaching has not been widely used.Under the background of new liberal arts,the teaching tasks and objectives of college English have changed,and it is imperative to carry out online-offline hybrid teaching mode.This paper analyzes the feasibility of the online-offline hybrid teaching mode of college English,summarizes its problems,and explores its implementation strategies in the context of the new liberal arts,to provide references for teachers.

Hybrid Teaching Reform of Veterinary Microbiology Based on the Combination of Virtual Simulation and Problem-Based Learning

Application of a Combination of Two Teaching Methods in Pediatric Teaching

Pediatrics is one of the clinical professional courses that is highly practical.The traditional single teaching method is inconducive to stimulating students’interest in learning,resulting in a poor classroom teaching effect.To change the traditional single teaching model and promote and improve the development of pediatric teaching,according to the level of pediatric teaching,colleges can consider combining two teaching methods to carry out pediatric teaching.The main research in this paper is the combination of PBL(problem-based learning)teaching and CBS(case-based study)teaching.An overview of the two teaching methods is first given,and then the application significance of the combination of the two teaching methods is analyzed.Lastly,it explores the specific implementation of hybrid teaching methods in pediatric teaching.

Nowadays,it is extremely urgent for the software engineering education to cultivate the knowledge and ability of database talents in the era of big data.To this end,this paper proposes a talent training teaching modality that integrates knowledge,ability,practice,and innovation(KAPI)for Database System Course.The teaching modality contains three parts:top-level design,course learning process,and course assurance and evaluation.The top-level design sorts out the core knowledge of the course and determines a mixed online and offline teaching platform.The course learning process emphasizes the correspondence transformation relationship between core knowledge points and ability enhancement,and the course is practiced in the form of experimental projects to finally enhance students’innovation consciousness and ability.The assurance and evaluation of the course are based on the outcome-based education(OBE)orientation,which realizes the objective evaluation of students’learning process and final performance.The teaching results of the course in the past 2 years show that the KAPI-based teaching modality has achieved better results.Meanwhile,students are satisfied with the evaluation of the modality.The teaching modality in this paper helps to stimulate students’initiatives,and improve their knowledge vision and practical ability,and thus helps to cultivate innovative and high-quality engineering talents required by the emerging engineering education.

Learning Effectiveness Oriented Hybrid Teaching Mode

Research and Practice of Hybrid Teaching for Software Testing based on Interactive Learning

To address the problems of insufficient number of personalized exercises and cases and teachers’lack of grasp of students’weak knowledge points in the current software testing online courses,we study the strategy of establishing and updating intelligent exercise sets and case libraries and analyze the answers and dig out the weak points of knowledge through group intelligence reasoning and interactive machine learning methods.This will help teachers to make uniform and targeted explanations,reduce manual judgment,and achieve intelligent teaching quality reform,and implement the educational concepts of“keeping up with the times”and“teaching according to students’abilities”.

Research on Online and Offline Hybrid Teaching Mode under the Concept of OBE ——A Case Study for Software Engineering

With the support of the Ministry of Education’s Industry-Academia Collaborative Education Project and the critical project of Shandong Province’s education and teaching reform,we explore student-centered education reform positively to learn outcome-driven,which have the characteristics of a solid foundation,intense practice,strict process,and innovation.Under the technical support of the“Internet+”smart education,our practice has formed an online and offline hybrid teaching mode based on the effective interaction of teaching total factor under the OBE concept.Based on Bloom’s Taxonomy and Outcomes-based Education(OBE),this model formulates the overall objectives of the curriculum and the detailed objectives of each teaching step,plans the online and offline teaching design as a whole,and implements the target teaching by classification.Based on Laurillard’s scientific model of designing teaching sessions,we continuously iterate over the teaching steps like teacher communication,teacher demonstration,peer communication,and peer demonstration following the agile education concept.In the meantime,comprehensive application of SPOC online platform,Mu classroom,smart classroom offline carrier,WeChat/QQ social software,and other technical means facilitates the design for student-student interaction,teacher-student interaction,student-student discussion,teacher-student discussion,and other scenarios,realizing the combination of online and offline environment,of study independently and in the group,of flipped classroom and seminars.

MOOC construction of major core course and reform of Hybrid Teaching Mode Taking "principle of embedded system" as an example

Research on the Design of College English Lessons Based on Hybrid-styled Teaching

Practical Research on Online and Offline Teaching-Taking Baoshan University in Yunnan Province as an Example

Online teaching has both opportunities and challenges.The main issues that are emphasized in this study is on how to grasp and adapt to the situation,strengthen training and policy incentives,establish quality assurance supervision and inspection as well as linkage mechanism,and actively explore the reform mode.From the perspective of management,taking Baoshan University in Yunnan Province as an example,this article summarizes the practical experience of online teaching,analyzes the shortcomings of online teaching,explores the online and offline hybrid teaching,and promotes local colleges to refomi their teaching mode.
