Correlation Analysis of the Fluorescence Data of Some Benzaldehyde Derivatives by the Dual-Parameter Equation

The fluorescence emission wavelength [lambda(max(em))] values of three types of benzaldehyde derivatives, namely, ethylene acetals (1-Ys), 4-nitrophenylhydrazones (2-Ys) and phenylhydrazones (3-Ys), have been measured... The fluorescence emission wavelength [lambda(max(em))] values of three types of benzaldehyde derivatives, namely, ethylene acetals (1-Ys), 4-nitrophenylhydrazones (2-Ys) and phenylhydrazones (3-Ys), have been measured. Correlation analyses by the dual-parameter equation show that the lambda(max(em)) values of 1-Ys are mainly affected by the spin-delocalization effects of the substituents, while those of 2-Ys are mainly affected by the polar effects. However, those of 3-Ys are independent of the substituents. 展开更多

Reaction of 3 with excess phenylhyd... Coupling of dimedone with the diazonium salt of 4-aminoantipyrine afforded 2,3-dimethyl-4-[2-(5,5-dimethyl- 2,6-dioxocyclohex-2-ylidend)-hydrazino]-5-oxo-1-phenylpyrazoline (3). Reaction of 3 with excess phenylhydrazine gave the mixed trishydrazone derivative 4. Treatment of 3 with hydroxylamine produced the bisoxime 5 which upon dehydrative cyclization with acetic anhydride gave the corrsponding tetrahydrobenzo[d][1,2,3]triazole derivative 7. A one-pot synthesis of 7 was done by reacting 3 with hydroxylamine hydrochloride in pyridine, followed by heatment with acetic anhydride. 展开更多

The best alternative to fight against corrosion is the use of an inhibitor,the purpose of this work is the formulation of a new biomass-based molecule against corrosion of carbon steel.Lignin was extracted using the Kraft process and phenylhydrazine molecules have been scratched.The influence of the lignin-phenyl-hydrazone(LP)on the corrosion of carbon steel in salt and the acidic medium was studied by the polarization resistance,the potentiodynamic polarization,and the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.The results of these tests reveal that the behavior of the inhibitor is a mixed type.The adsorption mechanism of the inhibitor follows the Langmuir isothermal model.Gibbs energy shows that the process of inhibition of carbon steel is spontaneous.The SEM confirms that the inhibitor reduces the corrosion of the steel and stops the corrosion pitting phenomenon.The modified lignin shown as a good corrosion inhibitor in acid medium is highly saline with an efficiency>96%. 展开更多
