The performance of the designed digital electro-pneumatic cabin pressure control system for the cabin pressure schedule of transport aircraft is investigated.For the purpose of this study,an experimental setup consisting of a simulated hermetic cabin and altitude simulation chamber is configured for cabin pressure control system operation.A series of experimental tests are executed to evaluate the performance of the cabin pressure control system.The parameters of the PID controller are optimized.In the optimization process,the variation regularity of the rate of cabin pressure change under various conditions is considered.An approach to prioritize the control of the rate of change of cabin pressure based on the flight status model is proposed and verified experimentally.The experimental results indicate that the proposed approach can be adopted for the designed digital electro-pneumatic cabin pressure control system to obtain a better cabin pressure schedule and rate of cabin pressure change. 展开更多

The aim of this paper is to employ fractional order proportional integral derivative(FO-PID)controller and integer order PID controller to control the position of the levitated object in a magnetic levitation system(MLS),which is inherently nonlinear and unstable system.The proposal is to deploy discrete optimal pole-zero approximation method for realization of digital fractional order controller.An approach of phase shaping by slope cancellation of asymptotic phase plots for zeros and poles within given bandwidth is explored.The controller parameters are tuned using dynamic particle swarm optimization(d PSO)technique.Effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is verified by simulation and experimental results.The performance of realized digital FO-PID controller has been compared with that of the integer order PID controllers.It is observed that effort required in fractional order control is smaller as compared with its integer counterpart for obtaining the same system performance. 展开更多

The project has as its aim the design and implementation of the control of temperature in the cockpit of the prototype of neonatal life support equipment ESVIN based on the international standard IEC 60601-2-19 concerning the basic security and operation of the neonatal incubators. The prototype has been developed and is important because the cockpit is a new concept of medical equipment of neonatal life support. There was a modeling of the system of heating of the incubator using the concepts of system identification with the purpose of finding a mathematical model that describes the dynamic behavior of the system. Then, design and implement the strategy of feedback control with digital PID (proportional-integral-derivative) algorithm. The model allowed the design and implementation of a digital PID controller that meets in a satisfactory manner with the requirements, in accordance with the international standard. The control system implemented in the neonatal incubator ESVIN improved the effectiveness of the neonatal life support equipment in regard to temperature controller of the cockpit. 展开更多

Design of speed controller for electronic fuel injection gasoline generator based on feed-forward PID control

As for the application of electronic fuel injection (EFI) system to small gasoline generator set, mechanical speed controller cannot be coupled with EFI system and has the shortcomings of lagged regulation and poor accuracy, a feed-forward control strategy based on load combined with proportional-integral-differential (PID) control strategy was proposed, and a digital speed controller applied to the electrical control system was designed. The detailed control strategy of the controller was intro- duced. The hardware design for the controller and the key circuits of motor driving, current sampling and angular signal captu- ring were given, and software architecture was discussed. Combined with a gasoline generator set mounted with EFI system, the controller parameters were tuned and optimized empirically by hardware in loop and bench test methods. Test results show that the speed deviation of generator set is low and the control system is stable in steady state; In transient state the control system responses quickly, has high stability under mutation loads especially when suddenly apply and remove 100% load, the speed deviation is within 8% of reference speed and the transient time is less than 5 s, satisfying the ISO standard. 展开更多

为保证电力系统的调度效果,实现电力系统智能化管控,设计基于PID控制技术的电力系统运行自动化控制系统。系统的基础层通过数据采集设备采集电力系统运行状态数据,通过通信接口将其传送至数据层;数据层依据数据分层传输结构和数字签名机... 为保证电力系统的调度效果,实现电力系统智能化管控,设计基于PID控制技术的电力系统运行自动化控制系统。系统的基础层通过数据采集设备采集电力系统运行状态数据,通过通信接口将其传送至数据层;数据层依据数据分层传输结构和数字签名机制,存储以及调度接收的数据;控制层调用数据层中的数据,利用模糊级联PID控制器完成电力系统运行自动化控制,并向基础层的现场控制器下达协调控制指令,实现电力系统现场控制,并回传控制结果。测试结果显示,该系统的数据调度能力较好,RPS系数结果均在0.942以上,电力系统运行的失效率和修复率均在92.7%以上,绝对误差积分结果均在0.025以下,控制响应能力较好。 展开更多

相较于四旋翼无人机(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle,UAV),大型双旋翼无人机具有价格低廉、续航长以及效率高等优点,但存在耦合严重、抗干扰能力差等问题。为解决上述问题,文中提出了一种采用变论域模糊PID(Proportional Integration Differen... 相较于四旋翼无人机(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle,UAV),大型双旋翼无人机具有价格低廉、续航长以及效率高等优点,但存在耦合严重、抗干扰能力差等问题。为解决上述问题,文中提出了一种采用变论域模糊PID(Proportional Integration Differentiation)双旋翼控制算法。将无人机系统分解为位置控制和姿态控制两部分,在姿态控制上采用模糊PID实时调节PID参数,从而提高无人机的稳定性。根据无人机的运动方式提出一种新型无人机结构,搭建了双旋翼的动力学模型,并在Simulink上搭建了仿真模型进行验证。结果表明,相较于普通PID控制算法,所提算法将控制的超调量减少了50%,说明该算法在大型双旋翼无人机上具有更好的稳定性,在受到干扰的情况下可更快恢复。 展开更多

Determination of AVR System PID Controller Parameters Using Improved Variants of Reptile Search Algorithm and a Novel Objective Function

Two novel improved variants of reptile search algorithm(RSA),RSA with opposition-based learning(ORSA)and hybrid ORSA with pattern search(ORSAPS),are proposed to determine the proportional,integral,and derivative(PID)controller parameters of an automatic voltage regulator(AVR)system using a novel objective function with augmented flexibility.In the proposed algorithms,the opposition-based learning technique improves the global search abilities of the original RSA algorithm,while the hybridization with the pattern search(PS)algorithm improves the local search abilities.Both algorithms are compared with the original RSA algorithm and have shown to be highly effective algorithms for tuning the PID controller parameters of an AVR system by getting superior results.Several analyses such as transient,stability,robustness,disturbance rejection,and trajectory tracking are conducted to test the performance of the proposed algorithms,which have validated the good promise of the proposed methods for controller designs.The performances of the proposed design approaches are also compared with the previously reported PID controller parameter tuning approaches to assess their success.It is shown that both proposed approaches obtain excellent and robust results among all compared ones.That is,with the adjustment of the weight factorα,which is introduced by the proposed objective function,for a system with high bandwitdh(α=1),the proposed ORSAPS-PID system has 2.08%more bandwidth than the proposed ORSA-PID system and 5.1%faster than the fastest algorithm from the literature.On the other hand,for a system where high phase and gain margins are desired(α=10),the proposed ORSA-PID system has 0.53%more phase margin and 2.18%more gain margin than the proposed ORSAPS-PID system and has 0.71%more phase margin and 2.25%more gain margin than the best performing algorithm from the literature. 展开更多

A novel design method for determining the proportional-integral-derivative(PID) controller gains of an anti-aircraft artillery servo system with multiple performance specifications based on a particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is proposed. First, a performance criterion evolution function combined with the system maximum displacement settling time, rise time, overshoot, steady state error, constant velocity tracking error and sine wave tracking error is defined. Second, the optimization problem of PID controller parameters and the searching procedure of PSO algorithm are constructed. Finally, the optimal or near optimal PID controller parameters are fast and easily obtained by solving the above optimization problem on the given controller parameter space following the PSO searching procedure.
