In view of the common problems of integrating artificial intelligence into the training of postgraduates in Acupuncture and Tuina major,this paper reviews the related research progress both at home and abroad.It puts forward the innovative reform paths for integrating artificial intelligence into postgraduate training mode of Acupuncture and Tuina major:construct the teaching staff of artificial intelligence graduate students;innovating artificial intelligence to promote the integration of classics and scientific research;constructing the ideological and political case base of artificial intelligence courses;implementing artificial intelligence platform blended teaching;building a domestic and foreign exchange platform for artificial intelligence.Through practical research in teaching,it has achieved good teaching results and played a good demonstration,leading and radiation role in similar majors in China.

Discussion on the Implications of Expansion in Postgraduate Education

This paper explores the development of postgraduate education in China,including the overall situation of postgraduate education,the trend in enrollment expansion in professional degrees as well as in various academic fields;it also triggers the impact and discussion about the postgraduate enrollment expansion,such as over-education and credential inflation,as well as the concerns about the quality of education and talent cultivation and so forth.Although the expansion brings various problems,the challenges may also become new opportunities for higher education reform,this paper also provides some suggestions on the expansion of postgraduate education.

Research on the Integration Path of Postgraduate Professional Courses into the Construction of Curriculum Ideology and Politics

The curriculum ideology and politics play an important role in cultivating students’correct worldview,outlook on life,and values.In recent years,universities and colleges have begun to pay attention to the cultivation of postgraduates’moral education and the construction of postgraduates’curriculum ideology and politics.This paper takes the course“Theory of Software Engineering”of Anqing Normal University as an example,discusses the paths of integrating postgraduate professional courses into the construction of curriculum ideology and politics,and puts forward the paths of feeding back from scientific research,connecting with practice and summarizing and condensing,which are aimed at improving postgraduates’comprehensive quality and innovation ability,and have positive significance for cultivating high-level applied scientific and technological talents who are both moral and talented.

Integration of Theory and Practice in Medical Morphology Curriculum in Postgraduate Training:A Flipped Classroom and Case-based Learning Exercise

Objective:The integration of training in theory and practice across the medical education spectrum is being encouraged to increase student understanding and skills in the sciences.This study aimed to determine the deciding factors that drive students'perceived advantages in class to improve precision education and the teaching model.Methods:A mixed strategy of an existing flipped classroom(FC)and a case-based learning(CBL)model was conducted in a medical morphology curriculum for 575 postgraduate students.The subjective learning evaluation of the individuals(learning time,engagement,study interest and concentration,and professional integration)was collected and analyzed after FC-CBL model learning.Results:The results from the general evaluation showed promising results of the medical morphology in the FC-CBL model.Students felt more engaged by instructors in person and benefited in terms of time-saving,flexible arrangements,and professional improvement.Our study contributed to the FC-CBL model in Research Design in postgraduate training in 4 categories:1)advancing a guideline of precision teaching according to individual characteristics;2)revealing whether a learning background is needed for a Research Design course to guide setting up a preliminary course;3)understanding the perceived advantages and their interfaces;and 4)barriers and/or improvement to implement the FC-CBL model in the Research Design class,such as a richer description of e-learning and hands-on practice.Conclusion:Undertaking a FC-CBL combined model could be a useful addition to pedagogy for medical morphology learning in postgraduate training.

Exploration and Practice of Postgraduate Training Mode Based on Medical Imaging Information Security

In the process of continuous maturity and development of medical imaging diagnosis,it is common to transmit images through public networks.How to ensure the security of transmission,cultivate talents who combine medical imaging and information security,and explore and cultivate new discipline growth points are difficult problems and challenges for schools and educators.In order to cope with industrial changes,a new round of scientific and technological revolution,and the challenges of the further development of artificial intelligence in medicine,this article will analyze the existing problems in the training of postgraduates in medical imaging information security by combining the actual conditions and characteristics of universities,and put forward countermeasures and suggestions to promote the progress of technology in universities.

Chinese nursing postgraduates'views on implementing outcome-oriented academic English course:a descriptive study

Background:According to previous studies on professional English course teaching,the evaluation of course teaching was positive,but the vast majorities focus on medical English literature reading,professional English vocabulary,and professional English translation.As an alternative,the course design based on academic learning needs under the outcome-oriented education/model emphasizes the improvement of students'comprehensive ability in oral expression,literature reading,writing,and academic communication.Objectives:The objective of this study was to analyze nursing postgraduates'opinions on learning the outcome-oriented academic English course.Methods:This is a cross-sectional descriptive study.A total of 150 first-year nursing postgraduates enrolled in the“Academic Professional English for Nursing Postgraduates”course.After completing the course learning,students scanned QR codes generated by the online questionnaire and completed it anonymously within 48 h.Results:The students who participated in this course strongly believed that it“helped them strengthen their English speakability”(4.8 points),“made them more confident to participate in international academic conferences and exchanges in the future”(4.8 points),and“helped them apply English more in the nursing professional field in the future”(4.7 points).Conclusions:The implementation of outcome-oriented course teaching helps students to understand the research of foreign scholars and effectively express their own research content with English as a tool.It motivates them to continuously use English for professional and academic communication.

Experiences of Early and Enhanced Clinical Exposure for Postgraduate Neonatal Nursing Students at the University of Zambia, School of Nursing Sciences: Lessons and Implications for the Future

Background and Objectives: Early and Enhanced Clinical Exposure immediately places postgraduate students in a clinical setting and incorporates continual hands-on instruction throughout their studies. It aims to motivate students by strengthening their academics, improving clinical and communication skills, and increasing their confidence. The underlying principles are to provide a clinical context and to ensure that the patient remains the centre of learning. The School of Nursing Sciences implemented this model in 2021 to produce hands-on Masters-level neonatal practitioners who can work in multidisciplinary clinical contexts. Therefore, this study explored the experiences of postgraduate nursing students on the Early and Enhanced Clinical Exposure model and draw implications for the future. Methods: A phenomenological study design was utilized at the University of Zambia, School of Nursing Sciences and comprised of eight Master of Science Neonatal Nursing students in their second year. Convenience sampling was used to select the study site and participants. Data was collected between 15th January 2023 and 31st January 2023 using an in-depth interview guide. Audio recording and notes were transcribed immediately after data collection. Data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis and codes and themes were constructed from the coded data. Ethical clearance and permission were sought before conducting the study. Results: Four major themes emerged from the study: identity and role confusion, challenging and hectic experiences, positive educational experiences, and personal and professional growth. These themes contributed to the promotion of evidence-based practice by helping students to assess, diagnose, and treat various conditions, as well as gain interest, experience, knowledge, and exposure. Conclusion: The model has a significant impact on motivation to learn, as evidenced by reported increased skill level with potential for use in clinical practice. It is recommended that it be implemented in all postgraduate programs for full-time students.

This paper discusses the current situation and main problems of postgraduate education informatization in colleges and universities, and puts forward the key points and suggestions of digital transformation of postgraduate education in colleges and universities from the aspects of optimizing the information platform of postgraduate education management and service, driving the modernization and wisdom of postgraduate education with data, constructing the integrated platform of intelligent teaching, and continuously improving the digital literacy of teachers and students.

Exploration of Digital Transformation Schema for Professional Degree Postgraduate Training

Professional degree postgraduate education is the strategic focus of the reform and development of postgraduate education in China, and the digital transformation of education is also the strategic theme of the reform and development of education in China. This paper analyzes the current situation of informatization of professional degree postgraduate training in China, and puts forward the construction scheme of digital comprehensive service platform for professional degree postgraduate education and teaching based on the actual situation of China University of Geosciences (Beijing). It focuses on three aspects: postgraduate education information management, intelligent online teaching and teachers’ digital literacy improvement. The article also discusses the significance of the digital ecology of the education industry and the entire country for the evaluation of the cultivation of professional degree postgraduates in colleges and universities.

Reflections on Non-English Major Postgraduate English Teaching Reform

This paper presents some reflections on non-English major postgraduate English teaching reform. The author points out some understandings on the English proficiency of non-English major postgraduate students and curriculum changes in the reform. The author thinks that postgraduate English teaching reform is a systematic project, with a goal to meet the practical needs of postgraduate students and improve their ability to use English in their study and work. Hence, every effort of the reform should be made to satisfy the practical needs of the students and to make their English study contribute to their achievements in their own subject area.

Analysis and Strategy Research on the Mathematics Learning Situation of the Postgraduate Candidates

This study takes the students who intend to study for graduate students as the research object,and makes a questionnaire survey on the mathematics learning situation and learning platform of the postgraduate candidates.Questionnaires were distributed online and offline,and a total of 326 valid questionnaires were collected.Based on 326 questionnaires,this paper analyzes the current learning situation of mathematics in the postgraduate entrance examination and studies the strategies based on the present situation,which points out the direction for the construction of mathematics learning and communication platform based on the needs of postgraduate entrance examination.

English Learning Strategies Employed by EFL Postgraduate Students in Southwest China

English learning strategies play an important role in the language proficiency for EFL learners. Both frequency and patterns of English learning strategies use were found to be significantly related to language proficiency. The present investigation aimed to investigate a) an overall strategy use of postgraduate students in southwest China; and b) to examine the relationship as well as patterns of variations in frequency of students' reported strategy use with reference to their gender and field of study. The subjects of this study were 200 postgraduates in the universities of southwest China. A written questionnaire based on the Strategy Inventory for Language Learning(SILL) was adapted and biodata was added for background information. The findings of the research showed that the postgraduates, on the whole, reported medium frequency of use of English learning strategies. The results of the data analysis also demonstrated that frequency of postgraduates' reported use of English learning strategies varied significantly in terms of gender and field of study. The implications, limitations and recommendations for further research were also discussed.

AIDS-related Knowledge,Condom Usage Among Medical Postgraduates

Objective To investigate the knowledge about safety/unsafty of sexual acts relating to HIV transmission, levels of embarrassment related to condom and condom usage among medical postgraduates. Methods From August to December, 1998, a self-administered anonymous questionnaire was given to 271 new medical postgraduates from two medical colleges of Beijing and Hebei Province. Results There was a hazy understanding of the protective function of condom from AIDS among medical postgraduates. Only 14.4% medical postgraduates persisted in using condom, and 27.94% had never or almost never used it. The levels of embarrassment about condom were high. The median score was 3.55+0.98. Whether to use condom was related with the attitudes to condom, but not to AIDS. Conclusion There was some misunderstanding about condom and inconsistent condom usage in medical postgraduates. So it is essential to strengthen the sexual health education among them.

A Survey on the Use of Listening Strategies Among Non-English Major Postgraduates

Strategy use is correlated with the students＇ performance, so it is necessary to provide students with some strategy instruction. In order to make the strategy instruction more pertinent to the students＇ needs, this study has investigated the status quo of the listening strategy use among the non-English major postgraduates, and has discovered that the students＇ use of listening strategy was far from sufficient, especially in management strategies and social strategies.

This paper is to investigate the attitude of Chinese student to study abroad, through the survey of social culture and academic research.This study takes the method of pre-survey and using the achievements of other people, doing quantitative analysis from the two dimensions of individual psychological and social culture, provide adequate and reliable data support for the follow- up study.Studies have shown that Asian overseas students in Britain are more likely to experience the cultural collision, academic difficulties, academic learning disorders, the report proposed a theoretical model of in-depth understanding and how to balance the the gap between western and Asian cultures. The effort of this research is to provide practical and valuable suggestions socially, culturally and academically, to help oversea students have a successful transition and evaluate their experience in UK.
