Creation of "Regional Characteristic" in Planning and Design of Farmers' Residential Area at the South of Lower Reaches of the Yangtze River

After analysis of location feature of the south of lower reaches of Yangtze River and its construction of urban and rural integration,the paper pointed out harmonious combination between natural and artificial factors had been neglected in planning and design of farmers' residential area at the south of lower reaches of Yangtze River,"regional characteristic" losing,residential area in the form of "city community" and buildings in European style.In view of these problems,relevant planning and design thoughts and methods had been proposed as to how to create "regional characteristic" from the perspective of planning,architecture and landscape design.It discussed with emphasis the importance of construction base type and combination of environment with residential area construction;inspirations and design methods obtained from traditional architectures;and the content of landscape overall planning and specific design.It was hoped to enlighten designers to shoulder social and historical responsibility,make exploration unremittingly,and construct beautiful homelands for people.

Tourism Image Plan for Wunvfeng National Forest Park

After the introduction of tourist resources in Wunvfeng National Forest Park, the paper had planed its overall image from the perspectives of concept design, visual identity, behavioral norms and audio identity. Science Research and Utilization Planning of China’s Space Station in Operation Period 2022–2032

The core module of China’s Space Station(CSS)is scheduled to be launched around the end of 2020,and the experimental module I and II will be launched in the next two years.After on-orbit constructions,CSS will be transferred into an operation period over 10 years(2022–2032 and beyond)to continuously implement space science missions.At present,based on the project selection and research work in the ground development period of CSS,China is systematically making a utilization mission planning for the operation period,which focuses on the fields of aerospace medicine and human research,space life science and biotechnology,microgravity fluid physics,combustion science,materials science,fundamental physics,space astronomy and astrophysics,Earth science,space physics and space environment,space application technology,etc.In combination with the latest development trend of space science and technology,China will continue to update planning for science research and technology development,carry out project cultivation,payload R&D,and upgrade onboard and ground experiment supporting systems to achieve greater comprehensive benefits in science,technology,economy,and society。

Acceptance Sampling Plans with Truncated Life Tests for the Length-Biased Weighted Lomax Distribution

In this paper,we considered the Length-biased weighted Lomax distribution and constructed new acceptance sampling plans(ASPs)where the life test is assumed to be truncated at a pre-assigned time.For the new suggested ASPs,the tables of the minimum samples sizes needed to assert a specific mean life of the test units are obtained.In addition,the values of the corresponding operating characteristic function and the associated producer’s risks are calculated.Analyses of two real data sets are presented to investigate the applicability of the proposed acceptance sampling plans;one data set contains the first failure of 20 small electric carts,and the other data set contains the failure times of the air conditioning system of an airplane.Comparisons are made between the proposed acceptance sampling plans and some existing acceptance sampling plans considered in this study based on the minimum sample sizes.It is observed that the samples sizes based on the proposed acceptance sampling plans are less than their competitors considered in this study.The suggested acceptance sampling plans are recommended for practitioners in the field.

Improved Attribute Chain Sampling Plan for Darna Distribution

Recently,the Darna distribution has been introduced as a new lifetime distribution.The two-parameter Darna distribution represents is a mixture of two well-known gamma and exponential distributions.A manufacturer or an engineer of products conducts life testing to examine whether the quality level of products meets the customer’s requirements,such as reliability or the minimum lifetime.In this article,an attribute modified chain sampling inspection plan based on the time truncated life test is proposed for items whose lifetime follows the Darna distribution.The plan parameters,including the sample size,the acceptance number,and the past lot result of the proposed sampling plan,are determined with the help of the two-point approach considering the acceptable quality level(AQL)and the limiting quality level(LQL).The plan parameters and the corresponding operating characteristic functions of a new plan are provided in tabular form for various Darna distribution parameters.Also,a few illustrated examples are presented for various distribution parameters.The usefulness of the proposed attribute modified chain sampling plan is investigated using two real failure time datasets.The results indicate that the proposed sampling plan can reduce the sample size when the termination ratio increases for fixed values of the producer’s risk and acceptance number.Hence,the proposed attribute modified chain sampling inspection plan is recommended to practitioners in the field.

基于S-CAD方法的四川省单元式乡村国土空间规划政策评价与优化研究

国土空间规划改革以来,各地开展了探索与实践,2021年四川在全省推行以片区为单元编制乡村国土空间规划,是全国第一个在全省范围开展单元式乡村国土空间规划的省域。通过运用S-CAD方法和政策工具分析法对其政策体系进行分析,并结合规划编制成果对政策进行综合评价,发现其存在以下不足:一是政策体系不完善,主要出台了规划编制相关政策,而在规划实施和监督方面缺乏专门政策;二是政策价值观和政策预期结果超出了政策目标和政策手段所能够实现的范围,政策元素之间具有不一致性;三是政策工具结构不平衡,在规划区域衔接、对上衔接等方面非常薄弱。因此,需要进一步完善政策体系、调适政策元素关系、优化政策工具结构。通过这一研究,以期为深化乡村国土空间规划探索提供借鉴。

FAST GENERATION OF OPTIMAL ASSEMBLY PLANS

Existing approaches to automatic assembly planning often lead to combinatorial explo- sion. When the parts composing the assembly increase in number, computer-aided planning be- comes much slower than manual planning. Efforts to reduce the computing time by taking into ac- count various constraints and criteria to guide the search for the optimal plan requires too much input information, so as to offset the convenience of automatic assembly planning. In addition, as the planner becomes more complicated, such efforts often fail to reach the objective. This paper presents a new concep── unit , asserting that the intemal structure of an assembly is hierachical. Every disassembly operation only handles several units, no matter how many parts are involved. Furthermore, the scenario of disassembly is brought to light. It relates to only two key data──the liaison type and the assembly direction. The computational cast of this approach is roughly propor. tional to the number of parts. A planner, implementing these principlcs can generate the optimal as- sembly plans dramatically faster than the known approaches.

Reform of Japan’s Land Planning and Implications to China

This paper first briefly summarized the current state of exploration and construction of China’s land space planning.Then,it analyzed Japan’s land planning reform,studied its spatial planning process and explored relevant reform paths to obtain relevant experience.Through analyzing and summarizing the experience in the exploration of Japan’s land space planning in combination with China’s specific national conditions,it is intended to draw implications for China’s land space planning in the new era,in order to provide references for the future operation of related actual projects of land planning and exploration of related strategic theories.

The Pattern of Women’s Reliance on Family Planning Providers in Egypt

Understanding choice of family planning provider is fundamental for policy makers and program managers as they seek ways to both improve the coverage and increase the sustainability and efficiency of family planning services for Egypt to achieve its population objectives. This study focuses first on providing a descriptive profile of the patterns of reliance on sources of family planning services during the early 2000s. Binomial logit models are then estimated to obtain a more in depth understanding of the determinants of the choice of family planning providers in Egypt using the 2000 Egypt Demographic and Health Survey. The study offers insights into a number of aspects of family planning service provision about which there has been less previous investigation. There are marked differences in the extent to which Egyptian women rely on public or private providers for family planning services depending on the type of method they are seeking. Among the more important findings is the consistency women display in the choice of provider among women reporting multiple segments of use. With regard to the determinants of the choice of provider for family planning services, perhaps the most interesting finding is that household wealth was not a significant determinant of the choice of provider. This may reflect that private sources met the demand for family planning services of significant proportions of women in rural areas and among those in the low income groups.

Architectures in the Shadow of ＂Investors＇ Urban Planning＂--Case Study of Avala Hotel in Budva, Montenegro

Avala Hotel in Budva, Montenegro, has undergone three reconstructions. Each of them led to significant spatial changes. The first hotel established the foundation of urbanization process in Budva, the building was too high compared to the old town walls in the surrounding and thus not well integrated. The second reconstruction was the only successful achievement. At this time, in the first detailed urban plan including hotel and its surrounding area, the conclusion was that it represents ＂high-quality, seaside-favorable ambience＂ that should not be harmed by further building expansion. The last, illegal reconstruction in 2006 resulted in over enlarged new building disrespectful of the surrounding and the previous design. Similarly, the 2008 new detailed urban plan was the creation of ＂investors＇ urban planning＂. Entirely driven by profit, it arranges building reconstructions with multiple enlargements. This study tends to point out contextual impacts of the three hotels on the surrounding area, with special focus on the last reconstruction and ＂investors＇ urban planning＂ phenomena. The applied research method is comparative, chronological analysis of the three hotels. The aim of this research paper is to inspire initiatives that will help overcoming declining and harmful synergy of architecture and new socio-economic phenomena. It is the only way leading to the significant architectural goal： creating refined, harmonized and high quality ambience.
