Design and Implementation of an Online Course Management System

Learning abilities vary among individuals, yet schools teach them in one classroom. Managing learning abilities could be difficult. This Online Course Management System integrates learning techniques which addresses this problem. The aim of this work therefore is to develop an adaptative e-Learning Software to enable the learner answer questions or solve problems based on his/her ability. This work is motivated by the need to address deep concern and awareness toward how learners learn best. This study develops an adaptive e-learning platform where the learner is allowed to answer questions or solve problems based on his/her ability or pace. It also provides an online classroom which will run alongside the traditional classroom. The software will adopt the waterfall model. VB.NET, an Object Oriented Programming Language will be used with AJAX and JAVASCRIPT web development tools. Furthermore, this study recommends new strategies & technologies to improve safety, quality, and overall standard of learning amongst learners in educational institutions.

Comprehensive Online Management Based on Cloud Platform for Breast Cancer Patients Using Dual-Targeted Therapy with Macromolecular Monoclonal Antibodies

Objective: The purpose of the study was to explore the application effects of the cloud platform-based comprehensive online management for breast cancer patients using dual-targeted therapy with macromolecular monoclonal antibodies. Methods: 120 breast cancer patients treated by dual-targeted therapy with macromolecular monoclonal antibodies were managed by a cloud platform from March to November 2019. Comprehensive online management included consultation about drugs and side effects and frequently asked questions in the dual-targeted therapy with macromolecular monoclonal antibodies. Results: In the consultation about drugs and side effects, there were five patients with fever, neutrophil, cough, and fatigue;24 with diarrhea;25 with nausea;11 with oral mucosal inflammation;10 with rashes and dry skin;8 with insomnia;and 1 with palpitation. Moreover, 110 patients with anxiety about the missed or delayed treatment were properly handled. Conclusion: The comprehensive online management of dual-targeted therapy with macromolecular monoclonal antibodies based on the cloud platform is helpful to satisfy the at-home breast cancer patients’ needs, ensure the continuity of dual-targeted therapy with macromolecular monoclonal antibodies for breast cancer patients, prevent misinformation, alleviate patients’ negative psychological emotions, and reduce patients’ economic losses. The online cloud platform integrated management model is crucial for managing patients with breast cancer treated by dual-targeted therapy.

Preventive online and offline health management intervention in polycystic ovary syndrome

BACKGROUND Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS) is characterized by hyperandrogenism, hyperinsulinemia, ovarian polycystic changes, and irregular ovulation, often occurring in women of childbearing age for whom it can be a cause of infertility. Hypothalamus-pituitary-ovarian axis dysregulation is important in the pathogenesis of PCOS and the associated chronic excess of sex hormones can lead to cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, diabetes, and malignancies such as endometrial cancer, and breast cancer. At present, most scholars agree that lifestyle interventions in conjunction with drug treatment can help PCOS patients achieve their goals of successful pregnancy and childbirth.AIM To investigate the clinical effect of an online and offline(O2O) preventive health management model on PCOS with kidney deficiency and phlegm dampness.METHODS A total of 82 patients with PCOS of the kidney deficiency and phlegm dampness type who were admitted to Beijing Luhe Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University from April 2019 to June 2020 were randomly divided into two groups. The treatment group was treated with oral Diane-35 for 3 mo and received preventive O2O medical health management for 6 mo(including eating and living, exercise, drug management). The control group was treated with oral Diane-35 for 3 mo and completed outpatient health education. The traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) syndrome score, acne score, hair score, sex hormone level and clinical effects were compared between the two groups before and after the intervention. RESULTS After treatment, the TCM syndrome score, acne score, and serum luteinizing hormone/follicle stimulating hormone level were significantly lower in the treatment group than in the control group(P < 0.05). After 3 mo of treatment, the TCM syndrome curative effect index in the treatment group was 97.30% compared to 54.05% in the control group(P < 0.05), whereas the total treatment effect in the treatment group was 91.89%, compared to 54.05% in the control group(P < 0.05).CONCLUSION An integrated therapeutic approach incorporating medication, TCM methods and social media is more effective than standard treatment for PCOS.

Airway management training program for nurses via online course in COVID-19 preparedness

BACKGROUND Nursing officers are an integral component of any medical team.They participate in taking care of basic airway management and assist in advanced airway management,specifically amidst the current coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic.AIM To assess the efficacy of a standardized web-based training module for nurses in preparedness to fight against COVID-19.METHODS The training was held in three sessions of 1 h each,consisting of live audio-visual lectures,case scenarios,and skill demonstrations.The sequence of airway equipment,drug preparation,airway examination,and plans of airway management was demonstrated through mannequin-based video-clips.RESULTS Pre-and post-test scores as well as objective structured clinical examination scores were analyzed using Student’s t-test and the Likert scale was used for feedback assessment.It was found that the mean score out of the total score of 20 was 8.47±4.2 in the pre-test,while in the post-test it was 17.4±1.8(P value<0.001).The participants also felt self-reliant in executing the roles of airway assistant(63.3%)and drug assistant(74.3%).Fear of self-infection with COVID-19 was also high,as 66%of participants feared working with the patient’s airway.CONCLUSION Amidst this COVID-19 emergency,when the health care systems are being persistently challenged,training of nursing staff in the safe conduct of airway management can ensure delivery of life-saving treatment.

Research on Online Teaching Management Mode in Colleges under Pandemic Situation

Due to the impact of epidemic prevention and control,universities have organized online teaching and online learning and other online teaching activities.The purpose of online teaching is to ensure the progress and quality of teaching during epidemic prevention and control.Because of this particular situation,many college teachers are facing the unprecedented problem of online teaching.They offer online courses in a variety of ways to meet the needs of students.How to do well the effective online teaching management is very important,therefore,this article mainly aims at the pandemic situation background,carries on the research to the university online teaching management pattern.In the process of online teaching management,the author mainly found the following disadvantages,analyzed the reasons,and put forward the corresponding requirements for improvement.

Delivering forestry courses online:experiences,lessons learned,and future of forestry online education in the Asia Pacifi c

Innovation in forestry education is needed to address changing contexts of the positionality of forests.This is particularly signifi cant in the Asia–Pacifi c region,where deforestation and degradation are high.However,the accessibility of high-quality forestry education to address changing regional and global contexts is lacking.A series of innovative sustainable forest management(SFM)open education resource(OER)courses were developed and implemented to improve the accessibility of SFM education to enhance teaching quality,curriculum,and research capacity of universities in the Asia-Pacifi c Region.To evaluate the SFM-OER program in terms of student experiences,this study investigated student achievement,perceived success of the pedagogical approach and instructional design,and perceived eff ectiveness of the learning activities in promoting active and transformative learning through the assessment of a 1,191-course feedback survey between 2018 and 2020,including the global pandemic.This study revealed that the program attracted diverse student demographics,including a higher proportion of female students majoring in forestry,ecology,and other environmental studies.Their primary motivation to participate in the courses was to gain international experience,followed by the fl exibility of online learning,mandatory course requirements,and earning course credits.Students were satisfi ed with the Canvas learning management system.Most students spent less than 5 to 10 h of their weekly time in the course and agreed or strongly agreed that the workloads were manageable.Students refl ected positively on various learning activities and assignments,such as watching lecture videos,taking quizzes,reading and summarizing,having discussions,and peer review writing.However,they did not clearly prefer specifi c learning activities,signifying the importance of using diverse learning activities to satisfy diverse individual learning styles in online settings.This analysis contributes to the further development of student-centered pedagogical development for online learning and provides insight into the ways forward for online higher forestry education,while repurposing existing OER courses in a post-Covid-19 era.

Analysis of the Standardization of Administrative Management in Colleges and Universities Under the Background of Information Technology

In the development of the information age,universities should recognize the significant impact of information technology on their own development.In practice,it is possible to effectively improve the efficiency and quality of work by dealing with and constructing information-based methods,innovating administrative management models,and adopting more efficient and scientific methods to address various problems and shortcomings encountered in work.As an important part of university management,administrative management is a complex task.Establishing a standardized management model through information technology can further improve the comprehensive efficiency of administrative management.In this regard,the administrative standardization in universities under the background of information technology is analyzed and studied in this paper.

Enhancing Online Privacy Protection for Wireless Networks

The increasing popularity of wireless networks makes the protection of online privacy be a common concern of users and internet service providers.Because of the difference of wireless networks and wired networks,it is proved to be easier for hackers to steal information related to users' privacy in wireless networks than that of wired networks.The issue that whether online privacy protection is necessary or reasonable has given rise to much controversy.In this paper,the discussion of this issue includes what online protection of privacy is,current problems of online privacy protection in wireless networks,exploration of solutions and problems that may caused by the protection.No matter what extent the protection will be,it is proved to be essential for experts,users and IT staff to enhance the protection in wireless networks via new technologies,policy and law.It is also a way for improving the security of information management and business communication in wireless networks.

Ageing management strategies for instrumentation and control equipment in NPPs

This paper aims to explain main ageing stressors and effects on instrumentation and control (I&C) components followed by ageing management strategies through developed design such as using freewheeling diode to eliminate relays contact ageing due to inductive loads, or through traditional practices and new online monitoring where I&C components can be checked and assessed remotely while the plant is operating. It also includes some recommendations for obsolescence management for special I&C components like microcontrollers and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

4R危机管理视角下的公立医院网络舆情与危机管理对策探析

全媒体时代,网络已成为一个巨大的“舆论场”,每个人都手握“麦克风”。公立医院作为国家医疗服务体系的主体,具有高技术、高风险、高社会关注度等特点,是媒体和网民关注的焦点。因此,公立医院时刻面临着网络舆情危机冲击的风险。笔者以4R危机管理理论为基础,结合南京大学医学院附属鼓楼医院舆情管理工作实践及成效,试图对公立医院网络舆情与危机管理工作提出切实可行的建议。

基于线上教学平台的高校教学风险管理研究

文章结合风险管理理论阐述了基于线上教学平台的高校教学风险管理。一方面,以线上教学平台为背景进行宏观性研究分析,为后续本文研究高校教学风险管理奠定理论基础。另一方面,本研究的理论成果具有一定的普适性。由于宏观层面上的教学风险管理大体相似,细节之处也能为其他高校提供有关教学风险管理模式的经验,最终促使高校展开相关工作时能够更好地向下传达核心要义、抓住关键、弥补不足,夯实成果。

线上线下一体化营养及体重管理对孕妇妊娠结局的影响

目的:探讨线上线下一体化营养及体重管理对孕妇妊娠结局影响.方法:纳入本院2022年1月-2023年2月接受产前保健的孕妇108例,随机数字表法分为对照组与观察组各54例,对照组实施常规孕期管理及护理,观察组在对照组基础上实施线上线下一体化营养及体重管理,观察两组妊娠期并发症、孕妇孕期体重增长量与新生儿出生体重、入组时与分娩时孕妇自我保健管理问卷(SQHMP)变化、分娩结局、新生儿结局、孕妇满意率.结果:观察组孕妇妊娠期并发症率(1.9%)低于对照组(13.0%),孕妇孕期体重增长量(12.89±1.10kg)及新生儿出生体重(3.20±0.14kg)均低于对照组(17.23±1.56kg、3.78±0.27kg),分娩时两组孕妇SQHMP评分均提升且观察组(105.23±6.23分)高于对照组(92.54±7.63分),难产率(0)低于对照组(7.4%),自然分娩率(83.3%)高于对照组(64.8%),新生儿Aparg评分(9.53±0.31分)高于对照组(9.10±0.26分),巨大儿发生率(0)低于对照组(9.3%),孕妇满意率(96.3%)高于对照组(83.3%)(均P<0.05).结论:线上线下一体化营养及体重管理可提高孕产妇自我保健能力及改善妊娠分娩结局.

基于Think PHP的在线照片打印系统的设计与实现

人工管理在线照片打印存在效率低下等问题,为了方便用户打印纸质照片,保证照片及时、快速、高效地完成打印,文章采用ThinkPHP框架,设计并开发了在线照片打印系统。系统具有用户照片打印预约、后台管理员审核照片打印预约、后台订单管理以及配送管理等功能,实现了照片打印服务的全程管理,提高了打印服务的质量和效率。

基于网络文本分析的项目管理类课程建设与改革

对项目管理类课程的网络评价文本分析是了解学生需求,推进课程建设与改革的最优途径。以中国大学MOOC平台典型的项目管理类课程评价文本作为研究数据,通过文本特征分析揭示学生对课程的宏观评价与学习原因、微观评价与建议。结果表明,学生包括在校生及社会人士,认为课程学习可增加知识储备、提升个人能力、服务个人发展。目前项目管理类课程的教学内容、授课教师、教学方式与教学资源较为系统,但仍存在不足,亟需建设与改革。基于此,对项目管理类课程的教学内容设计、授课团队组建、教学方式选用与教学资源优化提出建设与改革策略,为开设高水平项目管理类课程、实现高质量项目管理人才培养奠定基础。

O2O模式战略成本动因分析和成本管控的研究——以A企业为例

以A企业的O2O模式战略成本动因作为研究对象,研究发现:企业保持在产品创新和迭代能力与O2O模式匹配成本管理的核心竞争能力,从结构性成本动因分析来看,企业规模、纵向整合、技术水平和地理位置等方面进行成本控制降低了价值链投入成本。从执行性成本动因分析来看,生产柔性能力、全面质量管理、供应链管理能力和员工综合素质等方面控制成本降低了运营和操作成本。
