The evaporation rate of Zn and Pb obtained from the experiments has been analyzed with kinetic models. The results show that the control step for evaporation of Zn is reduction reaction of ZnO by CO at the interface, and that the evaporation rate of Pb is controlled by the volatilization of reduction products, i.e. liquid lead. The overall apparent activation energies of Zn and Pb evaporation from the pellet are 79.42kJ/mol and 88.74kJ/mol respectively.展开更多

This not only is helpful to understand the trends of Cu, Cd and Zn enriched and dispersed in the evolution course of earth matter, but also provides evidence for geochemical self-organization that there may be in the process of Cu, Pb and Zn translation and distribution.展开更多

The process utilizes flotation and gravity flow sheet to separate Pb or Zn. Pb and Zn in the tailings were reclaimed by gravity more efficiently. This test used an ion-wave shaking table developed by Kunming University of Science and Technology. Based on the test results, the optimum test condition was chosen and testing of synthetic condition was performed. The results show that the process produces a final Zn concentrate with a 42.16% grade and 79.64% recovery and a final Pb concentrate with a 46.52% grade and 78.41% recovery.展开更多

The mineralization is having variable Pb:Zn ratio and shows lithological preferences. The sphalerite rich pockets are concentrated within the dolostone of older Trikuta Formation while galena rich mineralization occurs in form of veins, lenses and pockets hosted within siliceous varieties of dolostone and quartzite belonging to younger Khairikot Formation. Sulphur isotope geochemistry is reported in the present paper for the sphalerire and galena from the area for first time. Overall?δ34S of sulphides varies from (+9.67‰ to +34.42‰). Sphalerite ores hosted within older Trikuta Formation and younger Khairikot Formation, however, show different?δ34S values. It ranged from +9.67‰ to +10.59‰ for the sphalarite hosted in Trikuta Formation and from +18.38‰ to +34.42‰ for sphalerite hosted within Khairikot Formation. Sulphur isotopic data and ore petrographic data suggest that there is two-generation of sphalerite present in the area.展开更多

Concentrations of Cu, Pb, Zn, Cr and Cd were analyzed with a PE ICP-MS, and physical and physicochemical factors such as particle size distribution, pH, salinity and Total Organic Matter (TOM) were also determined. In the mangrove sediments of China, the average contents of heavy metals decreased in the order ofZn 〉 Pb 〉 Cu 〉 Cr 〉 Cd. The average contents of heavy metals were: Cu = 22.8 4- 16.46 mg/kg, Pb = 76.1 4- 52.33 mg/kg, Zn = 86.3 4- 42.65 mg/kg, Cr = 18.4 4- 5.83 mg/kg and Cd = 0.21 4- 0.25 mg/kg. Compared with previous studies, levels of heavy metals increased greatly. Contents of Cd, Cu, Pb and Zn were higher than the Background Values (BV). However, the contents of Cr was under the BV. The results revealed that levels of heavy metals changes significantly with anthropogenic input, physical and physicochemical factors. Significant correlations were found between concentrations of Cu, Ph and pH, TOM.展开更多
