Mechanical properties and failure characteristics of fractured sandstone with grouting and anchorage 被引量:9

Based on uniaxial compression experimental results on fractured sandstone with grouting and anchorage, we studied the strength and deformation properties, the failure model, crack formation and evolution laws of fractured sandstone under different conditions of anchorage. The experimental results show that the strength and elastic modulus of fractured sandstone with different fracture angles are significantly lower than those of intact sandstone. Compared with the fractured samples without anchorage,the peak strength, residual strength, peak and ultimate axial strain of fractured sandstone under different anchorage increase by 64.5–320.0%, 62.8–493.0%, and 31.6–181.4%, respectively. The number of bolts and degree of pre-stress has certain effects on the peak strength and failure model of fractured sandstone. The peak strength of fractured sandstone under different anchorage increases to some extent, and the failure model of fractured sandstone also transforms from tensile failure to tensile–shear mixed failure with the number of bolts. The pre-stress can restrain the formation and evolution process of tensile cracks, delay the failure process of fractured sandstone under anchorage and impel the transformation of failure model from brittle failure to plastic failure. 展开更多

In this research,a new method based on the hyperspectral imaging for searching the best decocting time of sun dried ginseng is reported.The spectral images at diferent decocting time of test sample have been taken by the st aring hyperspectral fAuorescence imaging systen and the solubility of active ingredients have been discussed by analyzing the changes on the spectral.curves.The spectr al range of the system is 400-720nm and the spectral resolution is 5nm.In the decocting process,the active ingredients of nonsoaked ginseng was dissolved in the tissue fluid at first,and reached equilibrium condition at last after the precipitation-dissolution reciprocating process of boiling.At last,the experiment al results show that the best decoction time of sun dried ginseng is about 60 min after boiling. 展开更多

By simultaneously employing both an electro-optic modulator and carbon nanotube saturable absorber(CNT-SA)in a dual-loss modulator, a subnanosecond single mode-locking pulse underneath a Q-switched envelope with high peak power was generated from a doubly Q-switched and mode-locked(QML) Nd:Lu_(0.15)Y_(0.85)VO_4 laser at1.06 μm for the first time, to our knowledge. CNTs with different wall structures—single-walled CNTs(SWCNTs),double-walled CNTs(DWCNTs), and multi-walled CNTs(MWCNTs)—were used as SAs in the experiment to investigate the single mode-locking pulse characteristics. At pump power of 10.72 W, the maximum peak power of1.312 MW was obtained with the DWCNT. 展开更多

In this work two different fluorochromes (Alexa 594 and Alexa 680) are conjugated to the same monoclonal antibody (Cetuximab) for obtaining a characteristic M-shaped dual-peak spectrum. Dual-labeling of Cetuximab by mixing both fluorochromes before the conjugation step gives spectral results similar to those of mixing of fluorochrome-labeled Cetuximab after the conjugation step (P 〉 0.05). In conclusion, both methods may be used equivalently for producing a dual-labeled single-antibody probe. Future studies may test whether the M-shaped spectrum may increase the diagnostic confidence in tumor-targeted multispectral optical imaging. 展开更多

Time lag effect of vegetation response to seasonal precipitation in the Mara River Basin

Background Mara River Basin is an ecologically fragile area in East Africa,with a pattern of alternating wet and dry seasons shaped by periodic precipitation.Considering the regional biological traits and climatic change,the vegetation’s response to seasonal variation is complicated and frequently characterized by time lags.This study analyzed the variation of the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI)and investigated its time lag to precipitation at the monthly scale.NDVI characteristic peaks were proposed from the perspective of seasonal mechanisms and were quantified to assess the lag effect.Results The results showed that the Anomaly Vegetation Index could identify low precipitation in 2006,2009,and 2017.The NDVI showed an increasing trend in 75%of areas of the basin,while showed a decreased significance in 3.5%of areas,mainly in savannas.As to the time lag,the 1-month lag effect dominated most months,and the spatiotemporal disparities were noticeable.Another method considering the alternations of wet and dry seasons found that the time lag was approximately 30 days.Based on the time distribution of NDVI characteristic peaks,the average time lag was 35.5 days and increased with the range of seasons.Conclusions The findings confirmed an increasing trend of NDVI in most regions from 2001 to 2020,while the trends were most obvious in the downstream related to human activities.The results could reflect the time lag of NDVI response to precipitation,and the 1-month lag effect dominated in most months with spatial heterogeneity.Four NDVI characteristic peaks were found to be efficient indicators to assess the seasonal characteristics and had a great potential to quantify vegetation variation. 展开更多

Analysis of gamma-emitting radionuclides in soils around high energy accelerators

Objective To investigate the specific activities of gamma radionuclides in the soils around high energy accelerators,and to analyze the influence of rays emitted by nuclides with characteristic peaks at similar energy points on nuclide measurement results,in order to provide reference for the accurate identification of radionuclides.Methods GR5021 high-purity germanium gamma spectroscopy system was used to measure the specific activities of gamma-emitting radionuclides 226Ra,232Th,238U,40K and artificial radionuclides 54Mn,52Mn,7Be,22Na,59Fe,95Zr in six soil samples around three kinds of high energy accelerators,and the theoretical counts of the characteristic peak of 835.7keV were compared with the measured counts of the characteristic peak of 54Mn.Results The specific activity ranges of gamma-emitting radionuclides 226Ra,232Th,238U and 40K in the soils around three kinds of high energy accelerators were 55.5–171,34.9–99.9,21.9–79.3 and 247–680 Bq/kg,respectively.The specific activities of artificial radionuclides 52Mn,7Be,22Na,59Fe and 95Zr were basically lower than the minimum detection limit.A characteristic peak was found at the energy point of 835.7keV in six soil samples,and the corresponding total absorption peak counts were from 228Ac of 232Thdecay daughter.Conclusions The specific activities of gamma-emitting radionuclides were at the normal natural background levels.The specific activities of artificial radionuclides were basically lower than the minimum detection limits.For 232Th,when its specific activity is above 40 Bq/kg,characteristic peak of its decay daughter 228Ac could be misjudged as characteristic peak of 54Mn. 展开更多
