Hence, the chromophore of green fluorescent protein (GFP), 4-hydroxybenzylidene-imidazolinone (HBI), was targeted as a potential fluorescent intercalator. For producing a building block for fluorescent oligonucleotide probes, 2'-deoxyuridine (dU) was conjugated with HBI via a flexible carbon-spacer. dUHBI conjugates highly fluoresce in glycerol (λem 460 nm,Φ 0.31), and are 109-fold more emissive than in methanol, implying the potential of dUHBI-labeled oligonucleotides as probes for hybridization assays.展开更多

It has been found that these conjugated polymers have the property of intrinsic semiconductor. The conductivity σ 298K of these polymers is in the range of 10 -9  ̄10 -3 S · cm -1 under pressure 10.63 MPa and incremental in the metal orderMn < Co<Fe<Zn<Cu<Ni.\ The photosensitivity of the MS 8Pz to the CdS PVA films is incremental in the metal order Zn < Mn < Co < Fe < Cu < Ni.展开更多
Objective:To investigate the inhibitory effect of humanized anti-VEGFR-2 ScFv-As2O3-stealth nanoparticles conjugate on growth of human hepatocellular carcinoma both in vitro and in vivo,which may be a potential agents...Objective:To investigate the inhibitory effect of humanized anti-VEGFR-2 ScFv-As2O3-stealth nanoparticles conjugate on growth of human hepatocellular carcinoma both in vitro and in vivo,which may be a potential agents with sensitivity and targeting ability for human hepatocellular cancer.Methods:Humanized anli-VECFR-2 ScFv-As2O3-stealth nanoparticles conjugate was previously constructed using ribosome display technology and antibody conjugate technology.In this combined in vitro and in vivo study,the inhibitory effects of anti-VEGFR-2 ScFv-As2O3-stealth nanoparticles conjugate on tumor growth,invasion,and metastasis was observed with human liver carcinoma cell line Bel7402 and normal cell L02 by MTT assay,Tanswell assay,Hochest33258 staining,and DNA ladder analysis.The anticancer activity and distribution of anti-VEGFR-2 ScFv-As2O3-stealth nanoparticles was then verified in a mouse model of Bel7402xenografts.Results:Anti-VEGFR-2 ScFv-As2O3-stealth nanoparticles significantly inhibited the proliferation of Bel7402 in the 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yh-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide assay while had almost no effects on L02 cells.And the apoptosis inducing effects were proved by Hochest33258 staining and DNA ladder analysis.Transwell assay found that the drug also inhibited the metastasis ability of tumor cells.Furthermore,anti-VEGFR-2 ScFv-As^-stealth nanoparticles significantly delayed the growth of Bel7402 xenografts after administration(92.9%),followed by As2O3-stealth nanoparticles,anti-VEGFR-2 ScFv,and As203(61.4%,58.8%,20.5%,P【0.05).The concentration of As2O3 in anti-VEGFR-2 ScFv-As2O3-steallh nanoparticles group was more selectively.Conclusions:Anti-VEGFR-2 ScFv-As2O3-stealth nanoparticles is a potent and selective anti-hepatocellular carcinoma agent which could inhibit the growth of liver cancer as a targeting agent both in vitro and in vivo and also significantly inhibit angiogenesis.展开更多

The complex photocatalyst could be activated by absorbing both ultraviolet and visible light (λ = 190-800 nm). Methylene blue (MB) could be degraded more efficiently on the complex photocatalyst than on the TiO2 under natural light. The conjugated polymer played a promoting role in the photocatalytic degradation of MB. The calcination temperature had an important effect in degradation of dye and could be summarized as 260℃ 〉 300 ℃ 〉 340 ℃ 〉 220 ℃ 〉 180 ℃.展开更多
Objective Ubiquitin conjugate enzyme E2O(UBE2O)is a ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme that has been reported to be involved in tumorigenesis.This study investigated the role of UBE2O in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Method...Objective Ubiquitin conjugate enzyme E2O(UBE2O)is a ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme that has been reported to be involved in tumorigenesis.This study investigated the role of UBE2O in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Methods The expression of UBE2O was detected using qRT-PCR,Western blotting,and immunohistochemical staining.Cell proliferation and Transwell assays were used to detect proliferation,migration,and invasion of HCC cells,respectively.Bioinformatic analysis was performed to analyze the relationship between UBE2O and the clinical features,prognosis,and immune cell infiltration of HCC.Results UBE2O was significantly over-expressed in HCC tissues.High expression of UBE2O was associated with poor tumor grade and poor prognosis.Functional experiments showed that down-regulation of UBE2O inhibited HCC cell proliferation,migration,and invasion.Co-expression gene analysis and gene set enrichment analysis showed that UBE2O was associated with protein hydrolysis,cell cycle,and cancer-related pathways in HCC.The results of immune analysis revealed that the expression of UBE2O was positively correlated with the immune infiltration and expression of immune-related chemokines of HCC.Conclusions UBE2O is significantly correlated with the prognosis of HCC and may be a valuable prognostic biomarker for HCC.展开更多
Understanding the excited state dynamics of donor-acceptor(D-A)complexes is of fundamental importance both experimentally and theoretically.Herein,we have first explored the photoinduced dynamics of a recently synthes...Understanding the excited state dynamics of donor-acceptor(D-A)complexes is of fundamental importance both experimentally and theoretically.Herein,we have first explored the photoinduced dynamics of a recently synthesized paddle-wheel BODIPY-hexaoxatriphenylene(BODIPY is the abbreviation for BF_(2)-chelated dipyrromethenes)conjugates D-A complexes with the combination of both electronic structure calculations and nonadiabatic dynamics simulations.On the basis of computational results,we concluded that the BODIPY-hexaoxatriphenylene(BH)conjugates will be promoted to the local excited(LE)states of the BODIPY fragments upon excitation,which is followed by the ultrafast exciton transfer from LE state to charge transfer(CT).Instead of the photoinduced electron transfer process proposed in previous experimental work,such a exciton transfer process is accompanied with the photoinduced hole transfer from BODIPY to hexaoxatriphenylene.Additionally,solvent effects are found to play an important role in the photoinduced dynamics.Specifically,the hole transfer dynamics is accelerated by the acetonitrile solvent,which can be ascribed to significant influences of the solvents on the charge transfer states,i.e.the energy gaps between LE and CT excitons are reduced greatly and the non-adiabatic couplings are increased in the meantime.Our present work not only provides valuable insights into the underlying photoinduced mechanism of BH,but also can be helpful for the future design of novel donor-acceptor conjugates with better optoelectronic performance.展开更多

Short wave near-infrared(SWIR,900-1700 nm)fluorescence imaging has attracted extensive research interest from scientists due to its high imaging quality.However,the variety of SWIR fluorescence imaging agents are quit...Short wave near-infrared(SWIR,900-1700 nm)fluorescence imaging has attracted extensive research interest from scientists due to its high imaging quality.However,the variety of SWIR fluorescence imaging agents are quite limited and the corresponding quantum efficiency is rela-tively low.In this work,a novel conjugated polymer PDTSDTBT was reported,consisting of a donor unit with a tetrahedral Si(sp3)named DTS and an acceptor unit named DTBT with branched side chains.The design approach of endowing the donor-acceptor structure with the branched side chains successfully increase the fluorescence quantum efficiency.The polymer was prepared into nanoparticles by nanoprecipitation.The PDTSDTBT nanoparticles showed an absorption peak of 626 nm and fluorescence emission peak of 924 nm.The quantum efficiency of the nanoparticles is 0.53%,which is higher than that of nanotube fluorophores(0.4%).The nanoparticles also demonstrate a photothermal effect,the temperature of nanoparticles solution could reach 45℃under excitation by 660 nm laser.Therefore,the PDTSDTBT nanoparticles is an excellent fluorescent imaging agent with potential photothermal applications.展开更多
A series of 2-phenyliminothiazolidines has been successfully synthesized; and 2-(2-methylphenyl)iminothiazolidine(Ⅰa) and 2-(4-methylphenyl) iminothiazolidine(Ⅰb) have been selected to determine their crystal struct...A series of 2-phenyliminothiazolidines has been successfully synthesized; and 2-(2-methylphenyl)iminothiazolidine(Ⅰa) and 2-(4-methylphenyl) iminothiazolidine(Ⅰb) have been selected to determine their crystal structures by X-ray diffraction technique, from their molecular graph of it is shown that double bond at 2-carbon atom of the heterocycle is all extro-cyclic at the crystal state, and there are two main plaines in Ⅰa and Ⅰb . But in Ⅰa , the angle between the planes is 61.4° and in Ⅰb the angle is about 41.4°. And so there is a strong conjugative effect in Ⅰb than in Ⅰa. So it is thought that the difference in fungicidal activies between 2-substitutedphenyl compounds(Ⅰa) and 4-substitutedphenyl compounds(Ⅰb) is due to their space factors.展开更多
