PEG-bound phenol reacted with chloroacetic acid to afford PEG-bound phenyloxyacetic acid, which was readily converted into corresponding phenyloxyacetyl chloride. Subsequent nucleophilic substitution with ammonium thiocyanate followed by addition of aryloxyacetic acid hydrazides gave PEG-bound di(aryloxyacetyl)thiosemi-carbazides, which were easily cleaved to give the resulting library of 1-aryloxyacetyl-4-(4'-methoxylcarbonylphenyloxyacetyl)thiosemicarbazides in good to high yield and high purity.展开更多

The results of fie...A 1-octadecanol(OD)/1,3:2,4-di-(3,4-dimethyl) benzylidene sorbitol(DMDBS)/expander graphite(EG) composite was prepared as a form-stable phase change material(PCM) by vacuum melting method. The results of field emission-scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM) showed that 1-octadecanol was restricted in the three-dimensional network formed by DMDBS and the honeycomb network formed by EG. X-ray diffraction(XRD) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR) results showed that no chemical reaction occurred among the components of composite PCM in the preparation process. The gel-to-sol transition temperature of the composite PCMs containing DMDBS was much higher than the melting point of pure 1-octadecanol. The improvements in preventing leakage and thermal stability limits were mainly attributed to the synergistic effect of the three-dimensional network formed by DMDBS and the honeycomb network formed by EG. Differential scanning calorimeter(DSC) was used to determine the latent heat and phase change temperature of the composite PCMs. During melting and freezing process the latent heat values of the PCM with the composition of 91% OD/3% DMDBS/6% EG were 214.9 and 185.9 kJ·kg-1, respectively. Its degree of supercooling was only 0.1 ℃. Thermal constant analyzer results showed that its thermal conductivity(κ) changed up to roughly 10 times over that of OD/DMDBS matrix.展开更多

It ex...A new capillary gas chromatography stationary phase, monokis (2,6 di O benzyl 3 O propyl (3’)) hexakis(2,6 di O benzyl 3 O methyl) β CD bonded polysiloxane, was synthesized. It exhibited separation abilities to disubstituted benzene isomers and some chiral solutes. It was also found that the polarity of CD derivatives can be lowered both by chemically bonding it to polysiloxane and by diluting it in polysiloxane. The separation abilities of the polysiloxane anchored CDs (SP CD) are higher than that of the unbonded CDs (S CD) and the diluted S CD at lower column temperature. Hydrosilylation reaction is one of the best methods to lower the operating temperature of CDs.展开更多

The transport of Tb(III) in dispersion supported liquid membrane(DSLM) with polyvinylidene fluoride membrane(PVDF) as the support and dispersion solution including HCl solution as the stripping solution and di(...The transport of Tb(III) in dispersion supported liquid membrane(DSLM) with polyvinylidene fluoride membrane(PVDF) as the support and dispersion solution including HCl solution as the stripping solution and di(2-ethylhexyl) phosphoric acid(D2EHPA) dissolved in kerosene as the membrane solution, has been studied. The effects of pH value, initial concentration of Tb(III) and different ionic strength in the feed phase, volume ratio of membrane solution to stripping solution, concentration of HCl solution, concentration of carrier, different stripping agents in the dispersion phase on the transport of Tb(III) have also been investigated, respectively. As a result, the optimum transport conditions of Tb(III) were obtained, i.e., the concentration of HCl solution was 4.0 mol/L, the concentration of D2EHPA was 0.16 mol/L, the volume ratio of membrane solution to stripping solution was 30:30 in the dispersion phase and pH value was 4.5 in the feed phase. Ionic strength had no obvious effect on the transport of Tb(III). Under the optimum conditions, the transport percentage of Tb(III) was up to 96.1% in a transport time of 35 min when the initial concentration of Tb(IIl) was 1.0× 10 -4 mol/L. The diffusion coefficient of Tb(III) in the membrane and the thickness of diffusion layer between feed phase and membrane phase were obtained and the values were 1.82×10 -8 m2/s and 5.61 um, respectively. The calculated results were in good agreement with the literature data.展开更多

The state functions and the discrete iterative map equations were established to analyze the dynamical phenomenon in the single phase H-bridge inverter. The dynamical characteristics of the single phase H- bridge inverter, such as time domain waveform diagram, bifurcation diagram, and folding map, were obtained by using the numerical calculation when the circuit parameters varied in specific range. Moreover, the simulation results were obtained by using the OrCAD-PSpice software to validate the numerical calculation. Both the numerical calculation and the circuit simulation show that the symmetrical dynamical phenomenon occurs in the single phase H-bridge inverter controlled by the peak current or the valley current.展开更多

Spectrums 1Н and 13С NMR differ from similar spectrums of initial compound and the single crystal.
