An efficient synthesis of 2,2-bis(1H-indol-3-yl)-2H-acenaphthen-1-one catalyzed by recyclable solid superacid SO_4^(2-)/TiO_2 under grinding condition

An efficient synthesis of symmetrical 2,2-bis（1H-indol-3-yl）-2H-acenaphthen-1-one is achieved via a reaction of acenaphthe-nequinone and indoles catalyzed by solid superacid SO4^2-/TiO2 under solvent-free conditions at room temperature by grinding, which provides an efficient route to the synthesis of symmetrical 2,2-bis（1H-indol-3-yl）-2H-acenaphthen-1-one.This procedure offers several advantages including solvent-free conditions,excellent yields of products,simple work-up as well as reuse of catalysts which makes it a useful and attractive protocol for the synthesis of these compounds.

STUDIES ON LANGMUIR-BLODGETT FILM OF METAL COMPLEXES(Ⅰ)-PREPARATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF THE LB FILM OF N-HEXADECYL PYRIDINIUM TETRAKIS(1-PHENYL-3-METHYL-4-BENZOYL-PYRAZOL-5-ONE)EUROPIUM,C_5H_5NC_(16)H_(33)Eu(PMBP)_4

The LB film of the title complex was prepared by dropping a benzene solution of the title complex on the surfaceof water subphase at 25±1℃.The film was deposited in Z type on various hydrophilic pretreated substrates ofquartz,CaF;and electronic conductive glass for different purposes.The π-A curve of the film shows that thecross section per molecule is 125;,which indicates that the alkyl chain of the molecule is basically perpendiculalto the surface of the substrate.UV,IR spectra and transmission electronic microscopy of the film were also obtained.

Synthesis of 2-aryl-3H-indol-3-ones via trapping reaction in singlet oxygenation of 2-arylindoles

2-Aryl-3H-indol-3-ones (3a-o) have been synthesized via methanol trapping reaction in singlet oxygenation of 2-arylindoles (1a-o), followed by thermal decomposition of the resultant 2-aryl-2-methoxy-3-oxo-2,3-dihydroindoles (2a-o) in good yields.

The synthesis and structural studies of mixed ligand complex,tris(1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-trifluoroacetylpyrazol-5-one)mono(1-phenyl-3-methyl-pyrazol5-one)neodymium(Ⅲ)monohydrate

A mixed ligand neodymium complex containing 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-trifluoroacetyl- pyrazol-5-one(HPMTFP)and 1-phenyl-3-methyl-pyrazol-5-one(PMP),with molecular formula Nd(PMTFP)_3·PMP·H_2O was synthesized.Its crystal and molecular structure has been determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction method.The complex crystallizes in monoclinic system with space group C_2~5h-P2_(1/n).There are four formula units in a cell of dimensions a=12.837(3),b=23.763(5),c=16.810(4) ,β=109.58(2)°.The structure has been refined by full-matrix least-squares techniques to a final R value of 0.0487 and Rw value of 0.432.The neodymium atom is coordinated to eight oxygen atoms with the average Nd-O bond length 2.439,Its thermostability,and mass spectrum have been discussed.

An environmentally friendly synthesis of 1,4-dihydropyrano[2,3-c]pyrazole derivatives catalyzed by tungstate sulfuric acid

An efficient three-component synthesis of 6-amino-4-aryl-5-cyano-3-metriyl-1-phenyl-1,4-dihydropyrano[2,3-c]pyrazoles via a reaction between 3-methyl-1-phenyl-2-pyrazolin-5-one,aromatic aldehydes and malononitrile using tungstate sulfuric acid as a catalyst was described.Mild conditions,good to excellent yields,easily available catalyst and easy work-up are the key features of this method.

Design,synthesis,in vitro evaluation of tetrahydropyrimidine-isatin hybrids as potential antibacterial,antifungal and anti-tubercular agents

A series of 5-substitued-3-（5-（4-（furan-2-yl）-6-methyl-2-oxo/thioxo-1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrimidin-5-yl）-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2- ylimino）indolin-2-one derivatives were synthesized,characterized and were screened for anti-bacterial,anti-fungal and antitubercular activity.
