To reduce the quadratic scaling of the series resistance(R)and sheet resistance(Rs)of the devices,physi-cal isolation of the large area devices into small pieces has been proven to be a reliable and cost-efficient patterning technique.In this paper,we got an interesting result that the physical isolation did not show obvious effct on the photovoltaic performance of perovskite solar cells(PSCs)when fixing the active area.Three different isolation types,unetched ITO,etched ITO,and laser etching whole devices,have been induced to investigate the physical isolation roles.The results show that the electrons and holes could be collected efficiently in active area for all the isolation types.The proposed mechanism illustrates that the nonradiative recombination and recombination of electrons and hole in inactive area do not influence the performance of devices.This work may open a new way for the commer-cialization of PSCs by reducing the complex process and the etching costs. 展开更多

Failure behavior analysis of phased-mission systems considering functional and physical isolation effects

Phased-Mission Systems(PMS)are widely applied in aerospace,telecommunication and intelligent systems for multiple,consecutive and non-overlapping phases of missions.The phasedependent stresses and system structure cause some difficulties to the reliability analysis of PMSs.In this paper,we analyze the physical isolation effects on the degradation speeds and across-phase damage accumulations of failure mechanisms.And,some corresponding reliability and unreliability formulas are derived.Besides,a hierarchical Binary Decision Diagram(BDD)-based modeling method is proposed for incorporating functional and physical isolation effects into BDD models,and the analytical method with phase algebras is introduced for studying the failure behavior of PMS with functional dependence.In the case study,we evaluate the collision avoidance system of a fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle as an example to demonstrate the proposed modeling and analysis method.Results show that the physical isolation effects have significant influences on the degradations of components,which deserves detailed analysis for a more practical and realistic PMS’s failure behavior. 展开更多

Separation and Preliminary Identification of Intestinal Probiotics of Laying Hens

[Objective] The paper was to isolate and identify probiotics in the intestine of laying hens. [Method] The intestinal probiotics in laying hens at peak period were isolated using conventional separation methods; the physical and chemical properties of target strains and in vitro antibacterial effects were measured. Moreover, the safety test of chicks was conducted. [Result] Four strains of lactobacillus were isolated from the jejunum of laying hens, including Lactobacillus plantarum, Bacillus acidophilus, L. delbrueckii subsp. Delbrueckii and L. delbrueckii subsp. Lactis, and their inhibition zone diameters were 18.30, 16.07, 11.45, 17.26 mm, respectively. One strain of Lactobacillus, L. brevis, was isolated from the cecum, with the inhibition zone diameter of 10.26 mm. Three strains of bacillus were isolated from the cecum, including Bacillus subtilis, B. cereus and B. licheniformis, and their inhibition zone diameters were 9.25, 8.46 and 8.37 mm, respectively. Daily drinking 2 billion units of viable bacteria was the safe dosage for chicks. [Conclusion] Eight strains of probiotics had certain inhibitory effect on Escherichia coli O;, and had no toxic side effects to chicks. Lactobacillus had strong antibacterial effect on E. coli O;, while the antibacterial effect of bacillus was relatively weak. 展开更多

Two-dimensional code technology is widely used in all walks of life due to its high reliability,large information capacity and relative security of infor-mation.As the carrier of data transmission,two-dimensional code has become a new form of nearfield communication,and mainly used for theflow of docu-ments.The rapid spread of smart devices with cameras has further broadened the use of two-dimensional code.The combination of smartphones and two-dimensional code eliminates the dependence on special physical isolation devices and reduces transmission costs.In this paper,a two-dimensional code transmission system based on side channel is designed,which transmits confidential informa-tion through the visual main channel of two-dimensional code and retransmits feedback information through the acoustic side channel.This paper verifies the impact of QR code capacity on data integrity and improvesfile transfer integrity. 展开更多
