Few studies have examined the effects of different stimuli at a single acupoint using functional magnetic resonance imaging.The present study applied acupuncture at the Neiguan(PC 6),Waiguan(SJ 5),Zhigou(SJ 6) a...Few studies have examined the effects of different stimuli at a single acupoint using functional magnetic resonance imaging.The present study applied acupuncture at the Neiguan(PC 6),Waiguan(SJ 5),Zhigou(SJ 6) and Yanglingquan(GB 34) acupoints in healthy volunteers.fMRI was used to examine the activation of brain areas in response to different types of acupuncture(cutaneous or routine acupuncture) at each acupoint.There were no significant differences in the distribution of activation in the regions of interest between cutaneous and routine acupuncture at the Neiguan,Waiguan,and Zhigou acupoints,but some differences were observed between the two methods of acupuncture at the Yanglingquan acupoint.There were no significant differences in the intensity of induced activation between cutaneous and routine acupuncture at the Neiguan,Zhigou and Yanglingquan acupoints,but the activation intensity in the right cerebellum induced by routine acupuncture at the Waiguan acupoint was greater than that induced by cutaneous acupuncture.Results confirmed that cutaneous and routine acupuncture at the Neiguan,Waiguan,Zhigou and Yanglingquan acupoints activated different functional brain areas,and caused activation of different intensities in some areas.展开更多
Objective:The innervations in Yinlingquan(阴陵泉SP9)and Yanglingquan(阳陵泉GB34)were investigated to explore the neuroanatomical interconnection of the complementary acupoints in the rat hindlimb.Methods:A dual neural...Objective:The innervations in Yinlingquan(阴陵泉SP9)and Yanglingquan(阳陵泉GB34)were investigated to explore the neuroanatomical interconnection of the complementary acupoints in the rat hindlimb.Methods:A dual neural tracing technique was used,six male Sprague-Dawley rats were included in experiment.Under anesthesia with isoflurane,cholera toxin subunit B conjugated with Alexa Fluor 488 and 594(CTB-AF488/594)were separately injected into SP9 and GB34 in the same rat.Three days later,the neural labeling was examined in the dorsal root ganglion(DRG),spinal cord,and sympathetic chain at lumbar(L)spinal segments under a laser scanning confocal microscope.Results:All neural labeling were present on the ipsilateral side of tracer injection,including sensory,motor and sympathetic postganglionic neurons.The sensory neurons associated with SP9 and GB34 were distributed in the DRG from L2 to L6 and concentrated in L3-L4 and L4-L5 respectively,while most of the double labeled sensory neurons were presented in L4.On the other hand,the labeled motor neurons for SP9 and GB34 were observed in the dorsolateral part of spinal ventral horn at L2-L4 and L3-L5 respectively,and some of them were double labeled at L4.In addition,the sympathetic postganglionic neurons related to SP9 and GB34 were found in the lumbar sympathetic chain respectively.Conclusion:The similarities of the sensory,motor,and sympathetic innervation of SP9 and GB34 in the rat provide the neuroanatomical evidence to understand the synergetic effect that arise from the stimulation at the complementary acupoints.展开更多

文摘目的观察恢刺联合超声引导下冲击波对卒中后痉挛(post-stroke spasticity,PSS)患者肌张力和运动功能的影响。方法将96例PSS患者随机分为观察组和对照组,每组48例。对照组给予超声引导下体外冲击波(extra-corporeal shock wave therapy,ESWT)治疗,观察组在对照组基础上采用恢刺阳陵泉穴治疗。观察两组治疗前后改良Ashworth量表(modified Ashworth scale,MAS)、Wolf运动功能测试(Wolf motor function test,WMFT)、功能综合评定(functional comprehensive assessment,FCA)量表、肌电均方根值(root mean square,RMS)和积分肌电值(integrated electromyogram,iEMG)变化。结果两组治疗后肌张力评分等级分布优于治疗前(P<0.05),且观察组等级分布优于对照组(P<0.05)。治疗后,两组WMFT评分均高于治疗前(P<0.05),且观察组高于对照组(P<0.05);两组FCA日常生活功能、认知功能及总分高于治疗前(P<0.05),且观察组高于对照组(P<0.05);两组RMS、iEMG低于治疗前(P<0.05),且观察组低于对照组(P<0.05)。结论恢刺联合超声引导下冲击波治疗PSS效果显著,可有效改善肌电生理指标、肌张力及运动功能,提高日常生活能力及认知水平。
