The objective of this study was to obtain a sintered part with excellent properties by introducing a small quantity of oleic acid to the surface of zirconia powders before the mixing process. As opposed to many previous investigations that focused only on the rheological behavior and modification mechanism, the sintering behavior and densification process were systematically investigated in this study. With the modified powders, debound parts with a more homogeneous and smaller pore size distribution were fabricated. Also, a higher density and greater flexural strength were achieved in the sintered parts fabricated using the modified powders.展开更多

The proposed method is based on the electrochemical oxidation of chlorogenic acid at pretreated platinum electrode and the reduction of permanganate at another electrode to form an irreversible biamperometric detection system. Under the external potential difference (z^v) of 0 V, in the 0.05 mol/L sulfuric acid, chlorogenic acid can be determined over the range 0.8-120 mg/L with a sample measurement frequency of 80 samples/h. The detection limit is 0.18 mg/L. The proposed method exhibits the satisfactory reproducibility with a relative standard derivation (R.S.D.) of 2.21% for 19 successive determinations of 40 mg/L.展开更多

The in situ reduced ions reacted with unreduced portion of ferricyanide/Fe(III) to form soluble Prussian blue, which was monitored at an absorption wavelength of 735 nm. The optimized conditions allow a linear calibration graph in a concentration range of 1―100 μmol/L. The relative standard deviation was in a range of 0.5%―2.5%, with a detection limit(3σ blank) of 0.3 μmol/L and a sampling frequency of 60 injection/h was obtained. The effect of common substances present in human physiological fluids on the determination of uric acid was examined. The method was applied to determining uric acid in human urine samples with the recoveries in a range of 96%―105%. The results agree well with those by spectrophotometric reference method at a confidence level of 95%. Spectrophotometric procedures for uric acid determination in clinical samples were reviewed briefly.展开更多

Parameters such as the pH, loading time and flow rate of sample, and the concentration, volume and flow rate of eluent were optimized. The enrichment factors are 50.0, 56.5, 11.6, 12.1 and 19.1 for Cu, Pb, Co, Ni, and Cd, respectively, and a sample throughput of 20 h–1 was obtained. The limits of de tection for Cu, Pb, Co, Ni, and Cd were in a range of 1.56―3.91 μg/L, and the relative standard deviations(RSDs) were less than 2.76%(n=7). Furthermore, the proposed method was successfully applied to the determination of Cu, Pb, Co, Ni, and Cd in certified reference materials and various water samples.展开更多

It is noninvasive, quick, well-tolerated, and can provide in vivo and dynamic information. The formations of pools or pearls in HA fillers could be observed real time during injection. The plane of injection could be determined accurately, and there were no specimen manipulation artifacts. It was observed that HA gel fillers with differing production technologies showed distinct spread and distribution patterns in the periocular tissues on HRU examination. The authors used HRU to assess deep injections of CHAP-Hyaluronic Acid (CHAP-HA) fillers for midface lift. 10 patients who underwent bilateral midface deep injections using CHAP-HA filler were examined with HRU before and immediately after treatment, and in 2 weeks and one month later. The CHAP-HA appeared as hypoechoic densities within the preperiosteal plane in HRU. CHAP-HA adopted variable morphology within the tissue depending on individual tissue densities and the compliance of the tissues in the plane of injection. CHAP-HA was unidentifiable with surrounding tissue after one month in 13 of the 20 injection sites. HRU allows in vivo study of CHAP-HA injection behavior and could be a tool for further studies of HA-tissue reactions.展开更多

Osseous and fat atrophy with aging may further contribute to the loss of soft tissue support and midface ptosis. In the aging of periorbital area and midface, fat atrophy occurs mostly in the suborbicularis oculi fat (SOOF) area. The authors proposed that injection of hyaluronic acid (HA) filler to support the SOOF area could counteract the aging sign due to fat atrophy, restore volume loss and achieve a more youthful appearance. The authors described the treatment of 10 female patients who received CHAP®-particle hyaluronic acid (CHAP®-HA) injections for cheek augmentation, using single-point deep injection technique at midface in close proximity to SOOF area. Such approach provides satisfactory cheek augmentation results without significant complications. The authors discussed a rationale for their choice of dermal filler and provided an injection technique for restoring volume in the midface region with CHAP®-HA. Such technique is relatively quick to perform, have little down time, and result in a high rate of patient satisfaction.展开更多

In this study, we examined the effects of the charge ratio (+/-) of cationic liposome/siRNA, molecular weight of PGA and cationic lipid of cationic liposome on the biodistribution of siRNA after sequential injection of PGA plus cationic lipoplex. When 1,2-dioleoyl-3-trimethylammonium-propane (DOTAP)/cholesterol (Chol) lipoplex was intravenously injected into mice, the accumulation of siRNA was mainly observed in the lungs. In contrast, when DOTAP/Chol lipoplex was intravenously injected at 1 min after intravenous injection of PGA, siRNA was largely accumulated in the liver. The charge ratio (+/-) of DOTAP/Chol liposome/siRNA did not affect the biodistribution of siRNA after sequential injection. As regards the molecular weight of PGA, the accumulation of siRNA was observed mainly in the liver after the sequential injection of PGA of 20.5, 38, 64 or 200 kDa plus DOTAP/Chol lipoplex. Furthermore, to examine the effect of cationic lipid of cationic liposome on the biodistribution of siRNA, we prepared other cationic liposomes composed of 1,2-di-O-octadecenyl-3-trimethylammonium propane chloride (DOTMA)/Chol, dimethyldioctade-cylammonium bromide (DDAB)/Chol and O,O’-ditetradecanoyl-N-(α-trimethylammonioacetyl)di-ethanolamine chloride (DC-6-14)/Chol. For the cationic liposomes, the accumulation of siRNA was observed mainly in the liver when their cationic lipoplexes were sequentially injected after injection of PGA into mice. From these findings, sequential injection of PGA plus cationic lipoplex could deliver siRNA efficiently into the liver regardless of the charge ratio (+/-) of lipoplex, lengths of PGA and cationic lipid of liposome.展开更多

Polar acrylic monomers show low abundance by gas chromatography. Because of this, a home-made pyrolysis liquid chromatographic injector by means of cryogenic-focussing is developed to determine the presence and concentration of hydroxyl and carboxyl functional monomers present in water- and solvent-borne acrylics. We have shown the prove-of-principle of using cryogenic-focussing for UPLC (pyrolysis-ultra-performance liquid chromatography) injection.展开更多

It significantly increases the mortality, disability rate and recurrence rate of stroke, which places a heavy burden on families and society. The etiology of PSD is not yet clear, involving a series of complex mechanisms. Inflammatory response, apoptosis, neurotrophic factors, neurotransmitters and many others may play important roles, and there is no effective treatment. Salvianolic acid for injection (SAFI) has the functions of anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidative stress, anti-apoptotic and can improve depressive behavior. It is expected to become a new antidepressant for the treatment of PSD.展开更多

文摘A flow injection irreversible biamperometric method for the determination of chlorogenic acid is described. The proposed method exhibits the satisfactory reproducibility with a relative standard derivation (R.S.D.) of 2.21% for 19 successive determinations of 40 mg/L.

文摘Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of lyophilized Salvia salt of lithospermic acid powder for injection (SSLA) in treating coronary heart diseases angina pectoris (CHD-AP) of Xin-blood stasis syndrome type, and to conduct the non-inferiority trial with Danshen injection (丹参注射液, DSI) as positive control. Methods: An non-inferiority clinical layered, segmented, randomized, and blinded trial on three parallel and multiple centered groups was conducted in 480 patients with stable effort angina grade Ⅰ , Ⅱand Ⅲ, who had two or more times of attack every week. The 240 patients in test group A were treated with SSLA 200 mg added in 250 ml of 5% glucose solution for intravenous dripping every day; the 120 patients in test group B were treated with SSLA but the dosage doubled; and the 120 patients in the control group were treated with DSI 20 ml daily in the same method as SSLA was given. The clinical effectiveness and safety were evaluated after the patients were treated for 14 days. Results: The results showed that the markedly effective rate in test groups A, B and control group was 37.45 %, 36.75 % and 30.09 % respectively, while the total effective rate in them was 88.09%, 89.74% and 67.26% respectively. Statistical significance was shown in comparisons of the therapeutic effect between control group with test group A and test group B, with that in the two test groups superior to that in the control group, and non-inferiority trial showed eligibility (P〈0.01). Adverse reaction appeared in 8 patients in the test groups and 2 in the control group. Conclusion: SSLA has definite therapeutic effect in treating patients with CHD-AP, with its effect not inferior to that of DSI, and no evident toxic-adverse reaction.

文摘A simple and sensitive flow injection(FI) spectrophotometric method was reported for the determination of uric acid based on the reduction of Fe(III)/ferricyanide in the presence of uric acid. Spectrophotometric procedures for uric acid determination in clinical samples were reviewed briefly.
文摘The purpose of this study was to establish a high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method for the simultaneous determination of sodium danshensu, protocatechuic aldehyde, rosmarinic acid, salvianolic acid B, and 4-coumaric acid in Danhong injection. The chromatographic method employed was as follows: the column was a Welch Ultimate XB-C18 column (250 mm × 4.6 mm, 10 μm), the mobile phase was a gradient elution of 0.4% formic acid aqueous solution (A) and acetonitrile (B), the detection wavelengths were 280 nm for sodium danshensu, protocatechuic aldehyde, and salvianolic acid B and 326 nm for 4-coumaric acid and rosmarinic acid, the sample volume was 10 μL, the flow rate was 1.0 mL/min, and the column temperature was 35°C. This method can realize the separation and determination of sodium danshensu, protocatechuic aldehyde, rosmarinic acid, salvianolic acid B, and 4-coumaric acid within 50 minutes. The linear relationships of the five peak areas and their concentrations are good (R2> 0.9997). The precision RSD values are all less than 1.0%. The reproducibility RSD values are all less than 1.3%. The stability RSD values are all less than 2.2%. The recovery values ranged from 92.4% to 99.4%. This method is simple, accurate, and reproducible. It can be used for the determination of sodium danshensu, protocatechuic aldehyde, rosmarinic acid, salvianolic acid B, and 4-coumaric acid in Danhong injection.

文摘An adsorbent calix[4]arene carboxylic acid was employed as the adsorption material for on-line flow in jection(FI) micro-column preconcentration coupled with flame atomic absorption spectrometry(FAAS) determination of trace heavy metals(Cu, Pb, Co, Ni and Cd). Furthermore, the proposed method was successfully applied to the determination of Cu, Pb, Co, Ni, and Cd in certified reference materials and various water samples.
文摘High-resolution ultrasound (HRU) imaging is a useful tool to study hyaluronic acid (HA) filler injection in the face. HRU allows in vivo study of CHAP-HA injection behavior and could be a tool for further studies of HA-tissue reactions.

文摘Salvia polyphenolic acid for injection is a new generation of Chinese medicine injectable, which is developed by extracting and separating the water-soluble phenolic acid active ingredients of Salvia divinorum by using modern advanced technology as raw material.Pharmacological research shows that salvia polyphenolic acid has anti-inflammatory,anti-oxidative stress, neurotrophic, regenerative and protective effects on ischemic brain injury and can reduce myocardial ischemic injury. In clinical practice,it is mainly used in the treatment of stroke(mild to moderate cerebral infarction)in the recovery period of fetish blood obstruction. In recent years,it has also been gradually extended to treating acute cerebral infarction and respiratory syndrome.Since its launch, the pharmacological effects and clinical applications of Danshen polyphenolic acid for injection are reviewed to provide research clues for further essential trials and reference basis for clinical promotion and application.
文摘Loss of volume in midface can result in an aged, wasted appearance. Such technique is relatively quick to perform, have little down time, and result in a high rate of patient satisfaction.
文摘Previously, we developed a novel siRNA transfer method to the liver by sequential intravenous injection of poly-L-glutamic acid (PGA) and cationic liposome/siRNA complex (cationic lipoplex). From these findings, sequential injection of PGA plus cationic lipoplex could deliver siRNA efficiently into the liver regardless of the charge ratio (+/-) of lipoplex, lengths of PGA and cationic lipid of liposome.

文摘BACKGROUND Facial cosmetic procedures become popular for people with a desire to have a younger appearance, and cosmetic technology has developed rapidly over the past several decades. However, increasing complications related to cosmetic injections have been reported, and infection is one of the most serious problems and can cause anxiety and facial injury. We here report a case of Majocchi’s granuloma(MG)caused by Trichophyton rubrum after facial injection of hyaluronic acid.CASE SUMMARY A 37-year-old woman presented to our hospital with a history of red papules, nodules, and abscesses on her left zygomatic arch for 2 mo.She had received a cosmetic injection of hyaluronic acid on the left side of her face prior to the appearance of the lesions.MG caused by Trichophyton rubrum after facial injection of hyaluronic acid was diagnosed based on morphology and molecular biological identification. In vitro antifungal susceptibility testing was conducted according to the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute M38-A2 method.Minimal inhibitory concentrations were used to evaluate the antifungal susceptibility. The antifungal agents and their minimal inhibitory concentrations for the strain were terbinafine(<0.5μg/mL),itraconazole(0.06μg/mL),amphotericin B(0.25μg/mL),fluconazole(32μg/mL),voriconazole(0.125μg/mL),posaconazole(0.125μg/mL),and isavuconazole(0.06μg/mL).We initially administered 250 mg/d oral terbinafine for 2 mo,but the patient still had painful papules, nodules and abscesses on her face. Then,we adjusted the treatment to itraconazole 400 mg/d for 8 wk based on the in vitro antifungal susceptibility testing results. The skin lesions improved significantly, and there was no recurrence during follow-up.CONCLUSION This case revealed that facial injection of hyaluronic acid may cause serious MG.Antifungal susceptibility testing should be considered in the treatment of MG caused by Trichophyton rubrum.
文摘Pyrolysis gas chromatography is not a comprehensive analysis method for the determination of acrylics. We have shown the prove-of-principle of using cryogenic-focussing for UPLC (pyrolysis-ultra-performance liquid chromatography) injection.

文摘Post-stroke depression (PSD) is one of the most common affective disorders after acute cerebrovascular injury. It is expected to become a new antidepressant for the treatment of PSD.
文摘AIM:To appraise critically the published randomised controlled trials(RCTs)reporting on the effectiveness of using hyaluronic acid(HA)for sperm immobilisation and selection before intracytoplasmic sperm injection(ICSI).METHODS:Two authors used the PICO Method in order to perform a comprehensive literature search of the standard medical databases in June 2015.Data from the included studies was extracted independently by two authors using a predefined pro-forma.Review Manager(RevM an)was used to calculate the combined outcomes where multiple studies contributed with their results.Risk ratio(RR)with a 95%CI using the Mantel-Haenszel method was calculated for binary data variables.Heterogeneity was measured using the χ2 test and quantified using I2.In case of substantial heterogeneity(P < 0.10 for χ2 test or I2 > 50%)the combined outcome was calculated using the random effects model. The results from the meta-analysis were displayed as forest plots. The guideline of the Cochrane Collaboration was used to assess the risk of bias and it was illustrated as a risk of bias graph.RESULTS:The systematic literature search identified 166 different studies related to sperm immobilisation and selection for ICSI.Eleven RCTs involving 13719 oocyte intracytoplasmatic injections with sperm immobilised and selected using HA or polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP)were included in this systematic review and metaanalysis. There was low heterogeneity among the included trials(χ2 = 16.86,df = 11,P = 0.11; I2 = 35%).There was no statistical difference between HA and PVP groups in terms of fertilisation rate(RR = 1.01; 95%CI:0.99-1.03; z = 0.75; P = 0.45),good embryos rate(RR = 1.01; 95%CI:0.96-1.06; z = 0.30; P = 0.76),live birth rate(RR = 1.15; 95%CI:0.86-1.54; z = 0.92; P = 0.36),clinical pregnancy rate(RR = 1.04; 95%CI:0.92-1.17; z = 0.62; P = 0.53)and implantation rate(RR = 1.17; 95%CI:0.94-1.46; z = 0.40; P = 0.16).The quality of most of the included studies was moderate to poor because of unclear randomisation technique, inadequate allocation concealment and blinding.CONCLUSION:This systematic review and metaanalysis provides evidence of similar efficiency between using HA or PVP for sperm immobilisation and selection before ICSI.
