A new Cd(Ⅱ) coordination polymer, namely, [Cd(1,3-bip)(3,5-pdc)]n (1,3-bip = 1,3-bis(imidazol)propane and 3,5-pdc = pyridine-3,5-dicarboxylic acid) has been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. Compound 1 was characterized by infrared spectrum, elemental analysis, powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. It crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P21/c with a = 1.40178(7), b = 1.72502(12), c = 1.41635(6) ran, β = 92.653(4)°, V = 3.4212(3) nm3, Z = 4, C16HIsCdNsO4, Mr = 453.73, Dc = 1.762 g/cm3, F(000) = 1808,μ = 1.310 mm1, R = 0.0899 and wR = 0.1945. In compound 1, each 3,5-pdc ligand links three Cd(lI) ions and each Cd(Ⅱ) attaches to bip ligands to form a complicated 2D double-layer structure. A new coordination polymer,{[Ag2(bpp)2(H2O)2]·bpdc·3H2O}n,derived from the ligand biphenyl-4,4'-dicarboxylic acid(H2bpdc),has been obtained through a hydrothermal technique(bpp = l,3-bis(4-pyridyl)propane).Its single-crystal structure has been characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction,powder XRD,FT-IR,TGA and elemental analysis techniques.The single-crystal X-ray diffraction reveals that complex 1 consists of 1D infinite[Ag(bpp)(H2O)]n^(n+)cationic chains,2D anionic layer constructed by bpdc anions and free water which provide charge compensation in the crystal structure.The 1D infinite[Ag(bpp)(H2O)]n^(n+) cationic chains and 2D anionic layer are further stacked in-ABAB- fashion through intermolecular H-bonding to form a 3D sandwich-like framework.In addition,the luminescent property of complex 1 in the solid state at room temperature was investigated. 展开更多

A new one-dimensional Mg(Ⅱ) coordination polymer, [Mg(L)(phen)(H2O)](1), has been hydrothermally synthesized by using 3,5-dinitro-salicylic acid(H2L) and 1,10-phenanthroline(phen). It crystallizes in monoclinic, space group C2/c with a = 33.038(7), b = 6.6481(13), c = 22.750(5) A, β = 126.99(3)°, V = 3991.1(14) A3, Z = 8, C19H12 MgN4O8, Mr = 448.64, Dc = 1.493 g/cm3, F(000) = 1840, μ(Mo Ka) = 0.146 mm-1, R = 0.0559 and w R = 0.0975. In 1, each L anion bridges two Mg(Ⅱ) atoms to give one-dimensional zigzag chains with the Mg…Mg separation of 5.34 ?, which are extended by π-π stacking interactions between 1,10-phenanthroline ligands into a two-dimensional supramolecular layer. Moreover, the O–H…O hydrogen-bonding interactions further stabilize the layer structure of 1. The luminescent property was also studied for 1 in solid state at room temperature. In addition, natural bond orbital(NBO) analysis was performed by the B3LYP/LANL2 DZ method in Gaussian 09 Program. One new coordination polymer, [Mn(Hbtc)(bpy)(HO)]1, was synthesized by the reaction of manganese(Ⅱ) salt under pH-controlled hydrothermal conditions with unsymmetrical polycarboxylic acid of 1,2,4-benzenetricarboxylic acid(Hbtc) and 2,2?-bipyridine(bpy). The structure of complex 1 was characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, IR spectra, powder X-ray analysis, thermal gravimetric analysis(TGA), UV-Vis spectrometry, photoluminescence and magnetic susceptibility. Complex 1 is a one-dimensional(1D) polymeric single-chain structure. Photoluminescence property is quite similar to the bpy ligand. Magnetic susceptibility measurement indicates that 1 shows a weak ferromagnetic coupling between the Mn~Ⅱ ions. 展开更多

The reaction of flexible bis(imidazole) ligand and 1,2-bis(imidazol-l'-yl)methane (bimm) with Co(Ⅱ) salt under ionothermal method resulted in the formation of a new coordination polymer {[Co(bimm)3]·(PF6)2}n (1). X-ray single-crystal diffraction determination reveals that 1 crystallizes in the triclinic Pi space group, with α = 8.647(6), b = 12.092(9), c = 14.967(1 l) A, α = 88.912(8), β = 81.199(8), ), = 89.395(8)°, V= 1546 (2) A3, Z = 2, Mr = 793.39, Dc= 1.704 Mg/m3,μ = 0.768 mm-1 F(000) = 798, the final R = 0.0626 and wR = 0.1634 for 4319 observed reflections with I〉 2σ(I). In compound 1, the Co(lI) ion is connected to another Co(ll) by two bimm ligands to form 1D double chains which are further linked by bimm ligands to form a 2D wavelike layer. Topologically, the structure of 1 represents a uninodal 2D 4-connected sq1/Shubnikov tetragonal plane net. Polymer 1 consists of (Cd-Hiba)2 zigzag chains, which are further linked by hydrogen bonding to extend into a two-dimensional (2D) corrugated-shape sheet structure. The 2D structures are further connected into a 3D supramolecular edifice through hydrogen bonding. The polymer exhibits exceptional high thermal stability. Solvothermal reaction of Pb(NO3)2·6H2O with rigid linear ligand terephthalic acid(H2pta) in N,N-dimethylformamide(DMF) produced a new three-dimensional(3D) lead(Ⅱ)coordination polymer[Pb2(pta)1.5(μ4-OH)(DMF)]n 1,and its structure was characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses.In polymer 1,the μ4-OH bridges the nearby lead(Ⅱ) ions into an infinite one-dimensional(1D) chain,and then the organic ligand pta^2- joins the neighbored chains into a 3D structure by two similar connection modes in different configurations.The solid-state photoluminescent studies revealed that 1 exhibits a strong greenish emission mainly originating from ligand-to-metal charge transfer between the delocalized π bonds of the aromatic carboxylate ligand pta^2- and the p orbitals of the Pb^2+ centers. 展开更多

A novel coordination polymer [Eu2(C6H8O4)3(H2O)2]n?n(4,4?-bpy) (Mr = 928.51) was synthesized by the hydrothermal reaction of EuCl3?6H2O, adipic acid and 4,4?-bpy, and determined by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, thermal gravimetric analysis, single-crystal diffraction and fluorescence property. X-ray analysis reveals that a three-dimensional network has been formed between Eu3+ by carboxyl of adipic acid. The crystal is of orthorhombic, space group Pbcn with a = 21.870(7), b = 7.652(2), c = 19.624(6) ?, V = 3284.1(17) ?3, Z = 4, Dc = 1.878 g/cm3, μ = 3.854 mm-1, F(000) = 1824, R = 0.0345 and wR = 0.0565. The coordination polymer exhibits intensive red light under UV excitation at room temperature, which is attributed to the 5D0→7F2 transition of Eu(Ⅲ) ions. 展开更多

X-ray diffraction data revealed that the compound crystallizes in the monoclinic crystal system, space group P2_1/c with a = 7.936(3), b = 21.475(7), c = 20.010(7) ?, β = 102.856(14)o, V = 3325(2) ?~3, Z = 4, C_(34)H_(32)CoO_(15), M_r = 739.53, D_c = 1.477 g/cm^3, F(000) = 1532, μ = 0.591 mm^(-1), R = 0.1123 and w R = 0.1419. In the crystal structure, the Co(Ⅱ) shows 6 coordination geometry, and the flavonoid ligand coordinated with the Co(Ⅱ) ion in a monodentate mode. Hydrogen bonding interactions and π-π stacking interactions lead to the three-dimensional stacking of crystal and increase its stability. Moreover, the thermal stability and luminescent properties of the complex are also investigated. The fluorescence of the complex shows a great reduction of the intensity than that of the ligand. 展开更多

Crystal data for this complex: tetragonal, space group I41, a = 2.0293(3), b = 2.0293(3), c = 1.3758(2) nm, α =β= γ = 90°, V= 5.6657(13) nm3, Dc= 1.379 g/cm3, Z = 8, μ(MoKa) = 0.815 mm-1, Mr = 588.14, F(000) = 2456, S = 1.047, R = 0.0459 and wR = 0.1053. The crystal structure shows that two neighboring Cu(Ⅱ) ions are linked together by one bridging-chelating 2,4,6-trimethyl-benzoic group, forming a one-dimensional chain structure. Each Cu(Ⅱ) ion is coordinated with two nitrogen atoms from one 1,10-phenanthroline molecule, three oxygen atoms from three 2,4,6-trimethyl-benzoic acid molecules and one oxygen atom from one water molecule, giving a six-coordinate distorted octahedral coordination geometry. A novel one-dimensional chain coordination polymer [Mn(NAAh(4,4′-bipy)(H2O)4], has been synthesized with a-naphthaleneacetic acid, 4,4′-bipy and manganese(Ⅱ) sulfate as raw materials. Crystal data for this complex: monoclinic, space group P21/c, a = 1.1421(2), b = 1.6337(3), c = 0.94177(19) nm, β = 112.15(3)°, V = 1.6275(6) nm^3, De = 1.407 g/cm^3, Z = 2, μ(MoKa) = 0.467 mm^-1, F(000) = 722, S = 1.007, R= 0.0412 and wR = 0.1022. The crystal structure shows that two neighboring manganese(Ⅱ) ions are linked together by one 4,4′-bipy molecule, and the whole complex molecule forms a one-dimensional chain structure. Each manganese(Ⅱ) ion is coordinated with two oxygen atoms of two a-naphthaleneacetic acid molecules, two nitrogen atoms of two 4,4′-bipy molecules and two oxygen atoms from two water molecules, giving a distorted octahedral coordination geometry. A copper coordination polymer, namely [CuL2(H2O)2]·H2O 1(HL = 3-(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)benzoic acid) has been synthesized by the hydrothermal reaction under 140 ℃. The structure of 1 was characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, elemental analyses, powder X-ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy, and thermogravimetric analysis. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that 1 crystallizes in P21/n space group with a = 12.374(5), b = 12.730(5), c = 12.561(5) A°, β = 91.105(9)o, V = 1978.2(14)A°^3, Z = 4, Dc = 1.618 g/cm^3, μ = 1.160 mm^-1, F(000) = 964, the final R = 0.0449 and w R = 0.1443 with I 〉 2σ(I). Magnetic measurements show that 1 exhibits antiferromagnetic interactions by the analysis of magnetic test data. 展开更多

Under hydrothermal conditions, the reactions of NiII/CuII ions with 3-(6-aminpyri- dinium-3-yl) benzoate (HL) afford two compounds [NiL2]n (1) and [CuL2(H2O)]n (2). On the basis of X-ray diffraction analysis of the two compounds, the results show that compound 1 features one-dimensional (1D) double-strand coordination arrays, while 2 presents the 63-hcb layers. Both compounds are further constructed into a 3D supramolecular structure with the aid of weak secondary interactions. Thermal stabilities and magnetic properties of compounds 1 and 2 were also investigated. 展开更多

Six-coordinated {Mn(Ⅱ)} atoms are linked with carboxyl groups from camphoric acid ligands to form infinite one-dimensional chains. These chains are packed by means of hydrogen bonding and π-π stacking, forming a three-dimensional structure. A novel organic polycarboxylate N-cyclohexylaziridines-2R,3S-dicarboxylic acid was synthesized and reacted with Ni2(OH)2CO3.As a result,a coordination polymer was obtained.It crystallizes in orthorhombic,space group Pbca with a = 8.6325(10),b = 10.5414(13),c = 27.644(3) ,Z = 4,V = 2515.5(5) 3,C20H34N2Ni2O12,Mr = 611.91,Dc = 1.616 g/cm3,μ = 1.562 mm-1,F(000) = 1280,the final R = 0.0320 and wR = 0.0677 for 2854 independent reflections with Rint = 0.0390.Crystal structure shows that the coordination environment around the Ni(Ⅱ) ion can be described as a slightly distorted octahedron.The ligands act as a bridge through the carboxyl O atoms and join the Ni atoms into an infinite 1D chain structure.The 1D chain forms a 2D network through intermolecular O-H…O hydrogen bonds.The magnetic susceptibility measurements(2~300 K) agree with a weak antiferronmagnetic interaction between neighboring Ni ions in the chain. 展开更多

Compound 1 crystallizes in orthorhombic, space group Pnma with a = 32.061(4), b = 7.2597(8), c = 4.8084(5) A, V= 1119.2(2) A3, Z = 4, C10H1604Pb, Mr = 407.42, Dc = 2.418 g/cm3, F(000) = 760, μ(MoKa) = 15.066 mm-1, R = 0.0270 and wR = 0.0666. In 1, each Pb(II) cation is coordinated by six carboxylate oxygen atoms from four L2- anions. Each L2- anion bridges three Pb(ll) atoms in a μ3:η2:η1:η1 mode to form a 3D framework. The structure of 1 was characterized by IR spectrum and thermogravimetric analysis. Moreover, solid state luminescent property of 1 was also investigated. 展开更多
