The ecological environment of industrial wasteland has been severely damaged,and problems such as environmental pollution,sharp decline in biodiversity,and ecological damage frequently occur.Therefore,reasonable renovation of industrial wasteland has become an urgent issue to be resolved.Earth art originates from nature and integrates with industrial wasteland,which plays a guiding role in promoting the upgrading and transformation of industrial wasteland landscapes,and is of great significance for the healthy development of urban environment,improving urban human settlements,and other issues.The combination of land art and urban industrial wasteland landscape transformation can guide the healthy development of urban environment.

Research on the Reconstruction and Renewal of the Landscape Space of Industrial Sites in Post-industrial Era:A Case Study of Guangzhou Zilintang Art Town

With the rapid development of urbanization,traditional old industrial areas can not cope with the impact of the new wave of urbanization and have been abandoned,demolished and remodeled.Solving the pollution problem of industrial wasteland has become an important part of urban renewal research.Based on the development of industrial sites,the paper discusses the design principles and methods of industrial sites.Through the case analysis of the industrial site of Guangzhou Zilintang Art Town,the paper excavates the deep cultural deposits in the post-industrial era and analyzes the renewal,utilization,transformation and regeneration of the landscape space of industrial sites.

Study on the Alignment Between Talent Training Directions and Employment Market Demands in the Landscape Architecture Industry

Currently,talent training in Chinese universities for landscape architecture is mainly divided into three directions:“landscape planning and design,”“landscape construction management,”and“landscape plant planting and maintenance.”However,with the background of the slowing urbanization process and the widespread demand for composite talents in society,it remains to be verified whether the traditional three major talent training directions in landscape architecture align with the job demands in the current construction market.Based on a survey and analysis of over 300 industry practitioners,this study found a clear trend of merging the three major employment directions into“landscape design and construction”and“landscape plant planting and maintenance.”This presents new requirements and directions for the skill training of landscape architecture majors in universities and provides insights into the alignment between talent training and employment demands in other industries.

Study on the Landscape Flavor of Suzhou Industrial Park

The creation of new urban landscape environment is one of the core problems to inherit the urban history and culture and to form its character.By analyzing the landscape nodes around the Jinji Lake in Suzhou Industrial Park,this research sums up its natural landscape flavor created by water resource,the art landscape flavor created by buildings' layout,and the vivid culture flavor of urban landscape.The combination of the park's landscape creation and its nature,art and culture completely describes the feature of Jinji Lake Industrial Park-the fusion of history and fashion,classical garden and western garden,natural landscape and man-made landscape.

Interpretation of the Characteristics of the Southern Anhui Third Front Industrial Cultural Landscape in the Context of Philosophy of Technology

The third front industrial cultural landscape has the dual attributes of “industry” and “nature”.The special historical background and mountainous environment make it a distinctive industrial cultural landscape.Taking the third front industrial cultural landscape of southern Anhui as an example,this paper uses philosophy of technology to study this industrial cultural landscape with “modernity” characteristics,so as to make its “culture” return to the industrial cultural system and rethink,rather than the previous interpretation in the context of “cultural relics”.Then,under the framework of natural system,technological system and cultural system,the deep-seated cultural philosophy characteristics of the third front industrial cultural landscape are explained from the technological nature of the three line industrial cultural landscape.

Landscape Renovation and Renewal Design of Nanchang Industrial Heritage Site Under the Background of Creative Industry: A Case Study of Camphor Grove and 699 Cultural and Creative Parks

Camphor Grove Cultural Life Park and 699 Cultural and Creative Park are taken as research objects, and on-the-spot investigation and literature search are conducted. Protection and reuse of the park landscape are analyzed and studied, and the design model of landscape renewal with certain reference value based on creative industry is analyzed and summarized. Moreover, some suggestions are put forward to improve the existing problems in the transformation of industrial heritage in Nanchang City.

Based on the analysis of manufacturing landscape, the landscape changes caused by the transportation revolution, and the urban landscape of the newly-developed houses caused by the industrial revolution, the landscape changes in England during the industrial revolution were summarized to fill the research gaps in this field and lay the foundations for relevant research.

Strategies for Localized Transformation of Landscape in Old Industrial Areas: A Case Study of Xiadian Industrial Area in Xuzhou City

Based on the theory of “localization”, the landscape status of Xiadian industrial area in Xuzhou City was investigated and analyzed. Localized transformation of landscape in the old industrial area can be conducted from the restoration of landscape ecological environment, protection of industrial landscape heritage, and sustainable utilization of industrial waste resources. It can achieve a better balance between urban renewal and the landscape transformation of the old industrial area and then realize the reshaping and regeneration of landscape and promote the development of local industries and the continuation of industrial culture to provide useful thinking for creating geographically representative urban landscape.

Application of CVM in Assessing Recreational Value of Industrial Heritage Landscapes:A Case Study of Ansteel Exhibition Hall

CVM(Contingent Valuation Method) was applied to assess recreational value of Ansteel Exhibition Hall,and monetization result was obtained as 72.918 million CNY per year.This result to some extent could define the value composition of the preserved industrial heritage landscapes,and provide references for the management,conservation and utilization of industrial heritage.

Cultural Regeneration of Post-industrial Negative Heritage in Urban Design in China

Under the background that urban development has been renovated constantly, the paper has analyzed cultural circulation system and recycling effect in urban renovation, and emphasized that traditional culture should be extended with industrial heritage as the carrier, so as to transform post- industrial negative heritage into modern civilization adapting to modern life. By taking Beijing "789" for example, its development process and situation have been introduced. Based on the spirit of place, the practical significance of cultural creative park and reuse of industrial heritage have been illustrated. It considers that cultural creation can not only extend cultural context, but also help to find new inspiration in industrial heritage, transforming the function of negative landscape in urban renovation in the form of "catalysis", improving its economic value, social cultural value and cultural effective circulation value.

Negative Landscape Renaissance Driven by the Construction of Modern Garden City

Based on garden city theory,the paper has analyzed the evolution of the idea of modern garden city,and proposed a road for landscape renaissance based on negative landscape.In the perspective of typical negative landscape of ecological damage type and functional change type,by taking urban ecological wetland park planning of Shiling Town in Chengdu City and reconstruction of Beijing 798 Industrial Area into an art area,it considers that negative landscape regeneration is not landscape regeneration simply,but the regeneration of human living environment,and cultural regeneration of humanistic spirit from material regeneration.It is the further development of garden city theory.

Eco-landscape Construction of Lvyuan Leisure Agricultural Industry Park in Ganzhou City of Jiangxi Province, China

Basic connotations of researches on eco-landscape construction of leisure agricultural industry parks were elaborated, and eco-landscape construction of Lvyuan Leisure Agricultural Industry Park in Ganzhou City was taken for example to analyze problems in the development of eco-landscapes in leisure agricultural industry parks. In view of these problems, it was proposed that construction of agricultural landscapes for the leisure agricultural industry parks should be combined with demonstration of cultures, holiday resort, and farming experience, and more efforts should be devoted in ecological maintenance, utilization of agricultural spaces, creation of cultural and leisure spaces. Moreover, to create agricultural eco-corridors, garden functions should be combined with the protection of ecosystems. Spatial connection of agricultural patches should be enhanced to form eco-corridor of the parks and meet the needs of production. And finally, concrete landscape construction techniques were put forward for the agricultural industry parks.

Landscape Design Talents' Knowledge and Ability Structure Based on Industry Demands

Knowledge transference and ability training are 2 standing points and starting points for the industry demands-oriented talent cultivation of modern higher education.In terms of landscape design knowledge,the landscape design industry requires 3 major knowledge modules,namely basic knowledge and theories,professional knowledge,and relevant knowledge;in terms of ability,it also requires 3 major ability modules,namely computer-aided design(CAD),design performance ability and ability of making conception,and each of them includes many specific knowledge points and ability points.It is important for such teaching processes as real question and proposition teaching,studio teaching and project-led teaching to propose a dual-track talent cultivation scheme focusing on both theoretical knowledge and practical ability according to the needs of landscape design industry.Moreover,it is imperative to arrange relevant courses and curriculum group that reflect knowledge and ability demands,as well as practicing courses or comprehensive design projects based on ability structure.

Renewal of Urban Industrial Zone and Spatial Game in China:A Case Study of Chengdu Eastern Suburb Industrial Zone

The change of system constantly reshapes the urban form of China after 1949,among which the renewal and transformation of industrial zones is a typical phenomenon in the changing process of urban landscape in recent years,which centrally refl ects the development characteristics of contemporary Chinese cities under new social background.From the perspective of spatial game,this paper takes Chengdu Eastern Suburb Industrial Zone as an example,studies and interprets the changes of urban form and the causes of these changes in the renewal process of the industrial zone on the basis of the existing morphological frame and material landscapes,so then shows the particularity and complexity of the process of urban spatial reconstruction with current Chinese characteristics.

Study on the Brownfield Landscape Restoration of Urban Iron and Steel Industry Based on the Rainwater Management

After the steel industry moved out of the cities, it left a large number of the seriously polluted wasteland. Under the stimulation of the urban economy, all sectors of the society pay more and more attention to the utilization and redevelopment of the urban steel industry brown-land, hoping to improve the living environment of the surrounding residents and promote the surrounding economy through the restoration of the brown-land environment. The rainwater management, as an important means to improve the water environment in the brown-land transformation of the iron and steel industry, is bound to reshape the environment of the brown-land of the iron and steel industry and create a good ecological environment of the brown-land. Based on the analysis and comparison of the methods and techniques of the rainwater management, combined with the surface water transmission paths and the technical facilities in the iron and steel industry, this paper puts forward the landscape planning measures of the rainwater management from three aspects of the rainwater and architecture, the rainwater and roads, and the rainwater and iron and steel elements, and displays the application process of the rainwater management in the form of the landscape, so as to achieve the unity of the technology and arts.

Green corridor of rust belt: Theory and practice of organic growth in three-dimensional space of industrial heritage

This paper aims at the change of land use function in the development of urbanization and the planning transformation between the new and old cities.On the basis of protecting historical and cultural relics and improving environmental problems,new industries,new functions and new vitality are implanted,and a theoretical method of achieving economic,ecological and cultural symbiosis—the theory of organic growth in three-dimensional space is put forward.By analyzing the successful cases at home and abroad,this method summarizes the experience and lessons,and considers the various factors affecting humanity,region and sustainable development.This makes the cultural growth,ecological growth,business growth,to achieve a harmonious unity of the three.The feasibility and advanced nature of the theory to promote social development and optimize urban structure are demonstrated by combining with the reconstruction project of Hangzhou Steel Company(Hanggang)Ruins Park.

Green Design and Planning Resolutions for an Eco-Industrial Town: A Case Study of Polluted Industrial Estate in Rayong Province, Thailand

Map Ta Phut was designated for development in national policy as an Eastern Seaboard Industrial Port. It is located in Rayong Province with growing demand from Eastern Seaboard industries and is heavily affected by serious environmental problems as a'pollution control zone'. While the Joint Standing Committee on Commerce, Industry and Banking, representing the national business sector, claimed that the area generated total revenues of 1.1 trillion baht per year, or 11% of Thailand’s gross domestic product, and employed more than 100,000 workers, the declaration of the area as a pollution control zone severely limited investment and business operations. Thus, controversies arose among the investment business sectors, the residential sector (residents have been affected by a decrease in their quality of life and health) and environmental concern sectors. This paper aims to find an efficient and practical mitigation practice to balance the purposes of the industrial port with protection of surrounding communities and natural resources. The author will apply physical design and planning such as the application of “buffer zones”, “greenbelts”, “set-back”, “green corridor”, “green wall” and “protection strips” along with environmental measurements such as the Air Pollution Tolerance Index (APTI), which can be adapted for pollution protection as best practices of landscape architecture.

New Concept of Digital Structuring Landscape Space of Mountain Territories Landscape Sphere

For the first time, a new concept of digital structuring of landscape space of mountainous territories is considered. It is proposed to carry out structuring and classification of landscape systems, with the distribution of high-altitude landscape complexes. When finding the boundaries of these complexes, the high-altitude selection criterion prevailed, as well as quantitative and qualitative changes in their internal content. According to these criteria, it is possible to distinguish between plain, low-slope, low-mountain, dissected-middle-mountain, massive-medium-mountain, altitude-landscape complexes. Structuring and classification are presented for further study of structures as objects of industry indications and possibilities of using high-growing complexes as development areas.

后工业景观公园生态设计思潮演变研究

在信息化和智能化引领的新型工业转型和生态文明建设背景下,“后工业景观公园”作为工业遗存活化利用的主要载体,因其标志性和典型性成为风景园林界实践的重要对象,研究其生态设计思潮的演变对中国生态文明建设具有重要意义。通过梳理国内外后工业景观公园近60年的发展历程,根据公园建设背景、指导理论、生态设计手法,将生态设计思潮划分为1960—1985年探索期的环境修复模式、1986—2005年融合期的郊野景观模式、2006—2019年发展期的自然景观模式以及2020年以来兴盛期的生物友好模式4个阶段。生态设计思潮经历了从消除场地污染的环境修复到兼顾科学修复与艺术表达,从利用自生长植被群落、保护生物栖息地到设计适应生物多样性的友好环境,从被动到主动、从以人为中心的安全防控到人与自然和谐相处的生态审美转变。以期能为我国生态文明转型和高质量发展背景下的工业景观设计提供理论指导和实践借鉴。
