The processing modification of m6A regulates RNA transcription, processing, splicing, degradation, and translation, and plays an important role in the biological process of tumors. Circular RNA, which lacks the 5' cap structure, has been mistakenly regarded as a "junk sequence" generated by accidental shearing during the transcription process. However, it has been found that circRNAs can be involved in tumor invasion and metastasis through microRNAs, binding proteins, translated peptides, and m6A modifications. In this paper, we reviewed the role of m6A modifications in circRNA regulation and their functions in hepatocellular carcinoma and discussed their potential clinical applications and future development in this field.展开更多

The ...We suggest a possible explanation of the influence of pre-seismic activity on the registration rate of natural ELF(extremely low frequency)/VLF(very low frequency) pulses and the changes of their characteristics. The main idea is as follows. The distribution of the electric field around a thundercloud depends on the conductivity profile of the atmosphere. Quasi-static electric fields of a thundercloud decrease in those tropospheric regions where an increase of air conductivity is generated by pre-seismic activities due to emanation of radioactive gas and water into the lower atmosphere. The electric field becomes reduced in the lower troposphere, and the probability decreases of the cloud-to-ground (CG) strokes in such “contaminated” areas. Simultaneously, the electric field grows inside and above the thunderclouds, and hence, we anticipate a growth in the number of horizontal and tilted inter-cloud (or intra-cloud) (both termed as IC discharges) strokes. Spatial orientation of lightning strokes reduces vertical projection of their individual amplitudes, while the rate (median number strokes per a unit time) of discharges grows. We demonstrate that channel tilt of strokes modifies the spectral content of ELF/VLF radio noise and changes the rate of detected pulses during the earthquake preparation phase.展开更多

Deep metric learning methods are used by most researchers to calculate the similarity between the query and the candidate image by fusing the global feature of the query image and the text feature. However, the text usually corresponds to the local feature of the query image rather than the global feature. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a framework of image retrieval with text manipulation by local feature modification(LFM-IR) which can focus on the related image regions and attributes and perform modification. A spatial attention module and a channel attention module are designed to realize the semantic mapping between image and text. We achieve excellent performance on three benchmark datasets, namely Color-Shape-Size(CSS), Massachusetts Institute of Technology(MIT) States and Fashion200K(+8.3%, +0.7% and +4.6% in R@1).展开更多

However, insights into the genome-wide pattern of H3K27me3 in grapevines are limited. Here, anti-H3K27 chromatin immunoprecipitation(ChIP), high-throughput sequencing, and transcriptome analysis were performed using leaves of Vitis amurensis. The leaves were treated at 4°C for 2 h and 24 h and used to investigate changes in H3K27me3 under chilling treatment. The results show that H3K27me3 is well-distributed both in gene regions(-50%) and in the intergenic region(-50%) in the grapevine genome(Vitis vinifera ‘Pinot Noir PN40024'). H3K27me3 was found to be localized in8 368 annotated gene regions in all detected samples(leaves at normal temperature and under chilling treatments) and mainly enriched in gene bodies with the adjacent promoter and downstream areas. The short-term chilling treatments(4°C for 2 h) induced 2 793 gains and 305losses in H3K27me3 modification. Subsequently, 97.3% of the alterations were restored to original levels after 24 h treatment. The ChIP-qPCR for five differential peaks showed similar results to the data for ChIP-seq, indicating that the chilling-induced H3K27me3 modification is reliable.Integrative analysis of transcriptome and ChIP-seq results showed that the expression of H3K27me3 target genes was significantly lower than those of non-target genes, indicating transcriptional repression of H3K27me3 in grapevine leaves. Furthermore, histone methylation alterations were detected in 82 genes and were related to either repression or activation of their expression during chilling stress. The findings provide the genome-wide H3K27me3 patterns in grapevines and shed light on uncovering its regulation in chilling stress responses.展开更多

文摘The ohmic contact interface between diamond and metal is essential for the application of diamond detectors.Surface modification can significantly affect the contact performance and eliminate the interface polarization effect. However, the radiation stability of a diamond detector is also sensitive to surface modification. In this work, the influence of surface modification technology on a diamond ohmic contact under high-energy radiation was investigated. Before radiation, the specific contact resistivities(ρc)between Ti/Pt/Au-hydrogen-terminated diamond(H-diamond)and Ti/Pt/Au-oxygenterminated diamond(O-diamond)were 2.0×10^(-4)W·cm^(2) and 4.3×10^(-3)Wcm^(2),respectively.After 10 MeV electron radiation, the ρc of Ti/Pt/Au H-diamond and Ti/Pt/Au O-diamond were 5.3×10^(-3)W·cm^(2)and 9.1×10^(-3)W·cm^(2),respectively.The rates of change of ρc of H-diamond and O-diamond after radiation were 2550%and 112%,respectively.The electron radiation promotes bond reconstruction of the diamond surface, resulting in an increase in ρc.

文摘The modification methods of pozzolan slurry combined with sodium silicate and silicon-based additive were respectively adopted to treat recycled coarse brick-mixed aggregate(RCBA)in this study. The compressive strength and chloride permeability resistance of recycled aggregate concrete(RAC)before and after modification treatment were tested, and the microstructure of RAC was analyzed by mercury intrusion porosimetry(MIP)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The results show that the physical properties of RCBA strengthened by modification treatment are improved, and the compressive strength and chloride permeability resistance of treated RAC are also significantly improved. The modification treatment optimizes the pore size distribution of RAC,which increases the number of gel pores and transition pores, and decreases the number of capillary pores and macro pores. The surface fractal dimension shows a significant correlation with chloride diffusion coefficient, indicating that the variation of chloride permeability of treated RAC is consistent with the microstructure evolution.

文摘N6-methyladenosine(m6A)is a reversible epigenetic modification, which is one of the most abundant modifiers in eukaryotic cells and has been commonly reported in messenger RNAs and non-coding RNAs. In this paper, we reviewed the role of m6A modifications in circRNA regulation and their functions in hepatocellular carcinoma and discussed their potential clinical applications and future development in this field.

文摘Developing sustainable and clean energy sources(e.g.,solar,wind,and tide energy)is essential to achieve the goal of carbon neutrality.Due to the discontinuous and inco nsistent nature of common clean energy sources,high-performance energy storage technologies are a critical part of achieving this target.Aqueous zinc metal batteries(AZMBs)with inherent safety, low cost, and competitive performance are regarded as one of the promising candidates for grid-scale energy storage. However, zinc metal anodes(ZMAs)with irreversible problems of dendrite growth, hydrogen evolution reaction,self-corrosio n,and other side reactions have seriously hindered the development and commercialization of AZMBs.An increasing number of researchers are focusing on the stability of ZMAs,so assessing the effectiveness of existing research strategies is critical to the development of AZMBs.This review aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the fundamentals and challenges of AZMBs.Resea rch strategies for interfacial modification of ZMAs are systematically presented. The features of artificial interfacial coating and in-situ interfacial coating of ZMAs are compared and discussed in detail,as well as the effect of modified interfacial ZMA on the full-battery performance. Finally, perspectives are provided on the problems and challenges of ZMAs.This review is expected to offer a constructive reference for the further development and commercialization of AZMBs.
文摘We suggest a possible explanation of the influence of pre-seismic activity on the registration rate of natural ELF(extremely low frequency)/VLF(very low frequency) pulses and the changes of their characteristics. We demonstrate that channel tilt of strokes modifies the spectral content of ELF/VLF radio noise and changes the rate of detected pulses during the earthquake preparation phase.

文摘Organic depressants have low selectivity in separating molybdenite and talc because their metal sites lack activity for organics chemisorption. In this study, surface modification by copper sulfate was used to induce the differential adsorption of pectin onto molybdenite and talc surfaces for enhanced flotation separation.Contact-angle experiments, scanning electron microscopy, adsorption measurements,timeof-flight secondary-ion mass spectrometry, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analyses were conducted to reveal the interaction mechanism. Results illustrated that molybdenite and talc could not be separated using pectin alone, while molybdenite was selectively depressed after surface modification by copper sulfate and this effect was strengthened under alkaline conditions.Metal sites(Mg,Si and Mo)of talc and molybdenite themselves were unable to react with pectin, whereas Cu+would deposit and further function as active site for pectin chemisorption after surface modification. However, the quantity of deposited Cu sites dropped on talc surface and increased on molybdenite surface with increased pH,and the Mo atoms of molybdenite crystal were activated to take part in pectin chemisorption. Therefore, more pectin was adhered on molybdenite surface, which imparted molybdenite stronger wettability.Herein,surface-modification through metal ions can enable the differential adsorption of organic depressants and enhance the flotation separation of minerals.

文摘The last several years have witnessed the prosperous development of zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs),which are considered as a promising competitor of energy storage systems thanks to their low cost and high safety. However, the reversibility and availability of this system are blighted by problems such as uncontrollable dendritic growth, hydrogen evolution, and corrosion passivation on anode side.A functionally and structurally well-designed anode current collectors(CCs)is believed as a viable solution for those problems, with a lack of summarization according to its working mechanisms.Herein, this review focuses on the challenges of zinc anode and the mechanisms of modified anode CCs,which can be divided into zincophilic modification, structural design, and steering the preferred crystal facet orientation. The possible prospects and directions on zinc anode research and design are proposed at the end to hopefully promote the practical application of ZIBs.

文摘To tackle energy crisis and achieve sustainable development, aqueous rechargeable zinc ion batteries have gained widespread attention in large-scale energy storage for their low cost, high safety, high theoretical capacity, and environmental compatibility in recent years. However, zinc anode in aqueous zinc ion batteries is still facing several challenges such as dendrite growth and side reactions(e.g., hydrogen evolution), which cause poor reversibility and the failure of batteries. To address these issues, interfacial modification of Zn anodes has received great attention by tuning the interaction between the anode and the electrolyte. Herein, we present recent advances in the interfacial modification of zinc anode in this review. Besides, the challenges of reported approaches of interfacial modification are also discussed. Finally, we provide an outlook for the exploration of novel zinc anode for aqueous zinc ion batteries. We hope that this review will be helpful in designing and fabricating dendrite-free and hydrogenevolution-free Zn anodes and promoting the practical application of aqueous rechargeable zinc ion batteries.

文摘The demand for image retrieval with text manipulation exists in many fields, such as e-commerce and Internet search. We achieve excellent performance on three benchmark datasets, namely Color-Shape-Size(CSS), Massachusetts Institute of Technology(MIT) States and Fashion200K(+8.3%, +0.7% and +4.6% in R@1).
文摘Magnesium(Mg)alloys are generally used in light-weight structural applications due to their higher specific strength. However, the usage of these Mg alloys is limited due to their poor formability at room temperature, which is attributed to lower count of slip systems associated with the hcp crystal structure. To address these limitations, several new magnesium alloys and also many processing strategies have been developed and reported in the literature.ZE41 Mg is an alloy with significant quantities of zinc(Zn)and rare earth(RE)elements and has emerged as a promising material for aerospace, automotive, electronics, biomedical and many other industries. To make this alloy more competitive and viable,it should possess better mechanical and corrosion properties.Hence, the current paper reviews the effect of bulk mechanical processing on grain refinement, microstructural modification, and corresponding changes in the mechanical behaviour of ZE41Mg alloy.Further, the effect of various surface modification techniques on altering the surface microstructure and surface properties such as wear and corrosion are also briefly summarized and presented. This review also discusses the challenges and the future perspectives in developing high-performing ZE41 Mg alloys.

文摘Histone H3 lysine 27 trimethylation(H3K27me3) is a histone modification associated with transcriptional repression. The findings provide the genome-wide H3K27me3 patterns in grapevines and shed light on uncovering its regulation in chilling stress responses.

文摘3D reconstruction based on single view aims to reconstruct the entire 3D shape of an object from one perspective. When existing methods reconstruct the mesh surface of complex objects, the surface details are difficult to predict and the reconstruction visual effect is poor because the mesh representation is not easily integrated into the deep learning framework;the 3D topology is easily limited by predefined templates and inflexible, and unnecessary mesh self-intersections and connections will be generated when reconstructing complex topology, thus destroying the surface details;the training of the reconstruction network is limited by the large amount of information attached to the mesh vertices, and the training time of the reconstructed network is too long.In this paper,we propose a method for fast mesh reconstruction from single view based on Graph Convolutional Network(GCN)and topology modification. We use GCN to ensure the generation of high-quality mesh surfaces and use topology modification to improve the flexibility of the topology.Meanwhile,a feature fusion method is proposed to make full use of the features of each stage of the image hierarchically. We use 3D open dataset ShapeNet to train our network and add a new weight parameter to speed up the training process.Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method can not only reconstruct object meshes on complex topological surfaces, but also has better qualitative and quantitative results.
