The Kubelka-Munk revised theory was adopted to derive the mix design theory of high solar reflectance and high emissivity coatings. When the concentration of each colorant is within 20%,and the width of the coating is more than 200 μm,each colorant has enough covering power in visible and near-infrared spectral range. It can be assumed that the addition of colorants in coatings can only change the solar spectral absorption ratio rather than solar spectral scattering coefficient. The spectral scattering coefficient of coatings tends to a constant. The spectral absorption-scattering property of each colorant can be characterized through one parameter. The spectral absorption-scattering coefficient of coatings can be calculated with the multivariate linear relationship of each pigment. Moreover, the results can be expanded for high solar reflectivity and high long-wave emissivity coating preparation. The accuracy of Kubelka-Munk revised theory has been tested and verified through comparison between the calculated value and tested value of coating reflectance. 展开更多

The TiN, TiAlN, and TiAlSiN coatings were prepared on YT14 cutting tool surface with CAIP(cathode arc ion plating), the surface morphologies and phases were analyzed with FESEM(field emission scanning electron microscopy), and XRD(X-ray diffraction), respectively, and the coating parameters such as 3D surface micro-topography, grain size, surface height, hierarchy, profile height, and power spectral density, etc, were measured with AFM(atomic force microscope). The results show that the phases of TiN, TiAlN, and TiAlSiN coatings are TiN, TiN+TiAlN, TiN+Si_3N_4+TiAlN, respectively, while the surface roughness Sa of TiN, TiAlN, and TiAlSiN coatings is 75.3, 98.9, and 42.1 nm, respectively, and the roughness depth Sk is 209, 389, and 54 nm, respectively, the sequence of average grain sizes is TiAlN〉TiN〉TiAlSiN. The surface bearing index Sbi of TiN, TiAlN, and TiAlSiN coatings is 0.884, 1.01, and 0.37, respectively, and the sequence of surface bearing capability is TiAlN〉TiN〉TiAlSiN. At the lower wavelength(102-103 nm), the power spectral densities have a certain correlation, and the sequence of TiN〉TiAlN〉TiAlSiN, while the correlation is low at the higher wavelength(〉103 nm). 展开更多

CdSe quantum dot sensitized solar cells (QDSCs) modified with graphene quantum dots (GQDs) have been successfully achieved in this work for the first time. Satisfactorily, the optimized photovoltage (Voc) of the modified QDSCs was approximately 0.04 V higher than that of plain CdSe QDSCs, consequently improving the photovoltaic performance of the resulting QDSCs. Served as a novel coating on the CdSe QD sensitized photoanode, GQDs played a vital role in improving Voc due to the suppressed charge recombination which has been confirmed by electron impedance spectroscopy as well as transient photovoltage decay measure- ments. Moreover, different adsorption sequences, concentration and deposition time of GQDs have also been systematically investigated to boost the power conversion efficiency (PCE) of CdSe QDSCs. After the coating of CdSe with GQDs, the resulting champion CdSe QDSCs exhibited an improved PCE of 6.59% under AM 1.5G full one sun illumination. 展开更多
