Project Teaching and Practice in College English Teaching

At present, a new teaching model - Project Approach rises in English education. Project teaching is a student-centered, inquiry-centered practice, with project activities centered learning model. Project teaching students focus on learning strategies to help students become independent learners, to improve students＇ motivation to help students learn practical ability, communication skills, collaboration skills, creative thinking skills and the ability to solve practical problems. Project-based learning in the late 1990s was introduced in China. Within ten years, research project studying abroad connotation, significance and theoretical foundation, extension are applied research to classroom practice. However, most of the research object of the project is teaching primary and secondary students, higher education, adult education and general higher education students in science and engineering students. Research related to the field of English teaching is not much; the theory is applied to the case of teaching practice rarely. Therefore, this article introduced the project teaching college English classroom, through the implementation of the teaching aims to stimulate the enthusiasm of the students, so that students learn more explicit goals, enhance self- confidence and motivation to learn, to develop their creativity, initiative and independent learning and the purpose of learning ability.

Research on the New Mode of Computer Education based on Project Driving Methodology and Teaching Practice

In this paper, we conduct research on the new mode of computer education based on project driving methodology and teaching practice. Computer education is an important part in college education, application of computer technology can effectively cultivate students＇ ability and quality of information. Collaborative project teaching method of the implementation of the method can make students accept knowledge by only listen into doing which will not only enhance the students＇ ability but help teachers obtain better feedback as well which is meaningful and necessary. The proposed methodology and education pattern is proven to be effective and feasible.

Reform of Practical Teaching of “Linux Operating System Fundamentals” Under the Background of Emerging Engineering Education

With the advancement of the construction of emerging engineering education,the reform of practical teaching has become an important task of higher engineering education.This article takes the course“Linux Operating System Fundamentals”as an example to explore practical teaching reform in the context of emerging engineering education.By analyzing the current situation and problems in course practical teaching,we proposed practical teaching reforms such as online experiments,practical content updates,project-based engineering practices,and diversified evaluation models,and designed corresponding implementation plans.Practice has proved that this reform can improve students’learning interest and engineering practical skills,and cultivate outstanding engineers with innovative spirit and practical skills.

Integrated Project Library Exploration in Landscape Design Teaching for Environmental Design Majors

To enhance our talent cultivation model through“school-enterprise cooperation and industry-teaching fusion”,we aim to improve the“4321”Industry-Education Integration System.This includes actively promoting the use of case banks and project banks in teaching to develop students’practical engineering skills through hands-on application of professional knowledge.Additionally,landscape design courses emphasize practical learning experiences to implement the fundamental goal of“cultivating morality”.Guided by enhancing students’practical skills,we ensure alignment with course objectives and professional training requirements,emphasizing the seamless integration of theory and practice.

Project-driven Teaching Method Reform and Practice of Automotive Theory

In recent years,with the rapid development of the automobile industry in China and even in the world,the demand for professional talents in automobile related enterprises is extremely urgent,and the requirements are also increasing,so the teaching reform highlights its importance at present."The car"teaching quality,directly affects the new vehicle engineering applied talents under the background of engineering training,this article analysis the automobile theory teaching present situation,according to arcane knowledge,practice limited conditions and the evaluation method is proposed combining theory with practice,the practice of the project to drive the teaching plan,at the same time,put forward to reduce examination of course evaluation.The aim is to stimulate students'subjective initiative in learning,cultivate students'hands-on and brain-using ability,and let students devote themselves to the class,so as to make the boring derivation of theoretical formulas vivid and improve the efficiency of teaching.

Exploration of C Language Practical Teaching Method Based on Project Learning

This paper proposes a practical teaching approach in C programing language based on project learning.Having performing experimental teaching in class,this approach obtains pretty good teaching results,although it presents some flaws.This paper briefs the process of teaching,analyses the problems which are found during teaching and provides the solutions accordingly.

Construction and Practice of a Practical Teaching System for Normal Universities Based on Ability Cultivation

This study aims to explore the effect of project-based teaching methods on improving students’ abilities in normal universities. This study delves into the practice teaching system based on ability training implemented in normal universities, examining the application of this teaching model in teacher education and the potential challenges it may encounter. Our case study reveals that the Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach can effectively transform students from passive recipients of knowledge into active problem solvers, thereby enhancing their critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills. However, challenges do exist, including ensuring active participation from all students, providing equal opportunities for each student to develop and showcase their abilities, and completing complex projects within a limited timeframe. Therefore, teachers may need to adjust their teaching strategies, and schools need to provide more resources and support. These adjustments can help the practice teaching system based on ability training better serve teacher education and offer students a higher-quality educational experience.

英国谢菲尔德大学Live Project课程解析与实践探索

在我国建筑学科的学位教育中,探讨怎样的课程设置能够解决毕业生的职业化衔接问题依然是教改中的焦点问题之一,通过对谢菲尔德大学建筑学院(live project,LP)课程教学模式的了解和参与,发现该课程较成功地解决了这一问题。本文介绍了该课程的教学模式,并以实际案例为依托,系统地介绍了该课程的教学过程、教学成果与考核方法。最后,通过对LP课程特色的总结,探讨该教学模式对我们建筑学科的教学改革所具有的借鉴意义。

基于多层次模块化的金工实习教学改革与实践

如今,课程思政的教育理念不断深入到各大高校的教学中,该文从课程大纲修订、思政育人元素挖掘、思政教学实践等方面对水利工程硕士的水沙动力学课程思政实践进行研究,探索如何把思政元素融入到课程教学中;创新性地将“课程思政=知识目标+案例讲解+思政目标”的课程思政教学模式融入到教学实践,有意识地结合学院优秀学者的最新研究成果、专业技能在重大工程上的运用,从实际出发培养学生的职业认同感及提高学生的职业责任感。工程学科作为直接作用在社会民生和经济层面的学科,专业课程教学和实践教学与思政教学衔接更加重要,因此,教师在作为教学主体时,应该遵循“育人为本、德育为先、能力为重、全面发展”的育人理念,引导学生能够自主学习,具有适应社会经济发展的能力,拓展国际视野,并能够跟踪本专业及相关领域的前沿技术,具有持续职业竞争力。

应用实践导向的机器学习导论课程教学探讨

机器学习技术有很强的理论性和实用性。为提高学生对机器学习课程的兴趣和主动性,以计算机科学与技术专业机器学习导论教学为例,探究应用实践导向的机器学习导论课程教学改革,对每个机器学习算法设置对应的应用实践项目,构建1学时机器学习理论知识对应1学时项目实践的教学方式,将机器学习算法融入到实践项目中。教学实践证明,应用实践导向的机器学习导论教学模式能够明显提高理论和实践结合教学方法的效率,提高学生的积极性和主动性,培养学生解决实际问题的能力。

新基建视域下物联网专业实验教学体系研究

建立科教协同的实验教学平台,推动智能实验室建设是新基建的重点方向。物联网工程作为支撑国家战略性新兴产业发展的新工科专业,其实验教学在人才的培养过程中至关重要。然而,现有实验教学体系受资金、场地、师资力量、网络条件等因素制约,很难直观呈现规模化、创意化物联网实验,尤其是过程化物联网综合实验。重点研究了新基建视域下如何构建符合物联网产业需求和人才培养的实验教学过程和实验教学体系。通过对物联网专业课程结构和人才需求进行分析,结合学校人才培养定位和物联网产业链现状,讨论了现有实验教学平台的不足。同时,以物联网的技术体系结构为主线,对物联网实验教学知识点进行了梳理,提出了一种虚实结合的物联网实验教学平台建设方案。提出的实验平台能够满足基础实验、工程实训、创新创客、科研辅助及行业应用等需求。
