Objective To investigate the occurrence and concentrations of melamine and its analogues in tainted infant formula and to identify the etiologic factors for the urinary stones epidemic in infants and young children in...Objective To investigate the occurrence and concentrations of melamine and its analogues in tainted infant formula and to identify the etiologic factors for the urinary stones epidemic in infants and young children in China in 2008. Methods Sanlu infant formula samples were collected from families of the affected children in Gansu province, and markets in Gansu and Hebei provinces and Beijing city. Melamine and its analogues, including cyanuric acid, ammeline, and ammelide were measured by gas chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry. Results High prevalence and concentrations of melamine were found in Sanlu infant formula samples, with low concentrations of cyanuric acid, ammeline and ammelide. Melamine were detected in 87 out of 111 Sanlu infant formula samples with a range of 118 to 4 700 mg/kg, Conclusion The results provide strong evidence for melamine as the etiological factor for the urinary stones epidemic in infants and young children in China in 2008.展开更多

The initial square is replaced with a rectangle, and also the dimensionality of the construction is increased. By selecting values for the various parameters, such as the lengths of the sides of the original rectangle or rectangular box in dimensions more than two and their relationships to the size of the attached rectangles or rectangular boxes, some interesting formulas are found. Examples are Wallis-type infinite-product formulas for the areas of p-circles with p > 1.展开更多
Various types of rib and interlock fabrics found in the market depend on their structure such as 1 × 1 rib, 2 × 1 rib, 2 × 2 rib, 3 × 1 rib, 3 × 2 rib, 4 × 1 rib, 4 × 4 rib and 1 ...Various types of rib and interlock fabrics found in the market depend on their structure such as 1 × 1 rib, 2 × 1 rib, 2 × 2 rib, 3 × 1 rib, 3 × 2 rib, 4 × 1 rib, 4 × 4 rib and 1 × 1 interlock, 2 × 2 interlock etc. These all types of fabric can be possible to knit in circular knitting machine after machine setting. When these fabrics are knit on the machine, some needles are needed to drop or withdrawn from needle groove according to their design such as 1 × 1, 2 × 1, 2 × 2 etc. Due to needle dropping or withdrawing production per hour will changed as production per hour directly depends on the No. of active needle. No. of needle or active needle depends on machine gauge. This paper gives a new approach for machine gauge which is somewhat different from other thinking. This paper also shows the production calculation formula with their machine setting for various rib and interlock fabric with their derivation. By this paper, one can easily understood about machine gauge and calculated production of any type of rib and interlock knitted structure. Based on the measurement mechanism of mobility in pressure measurement while drilling, through analyzing a large number of mobility data, it is found that under the condition of water-based mud drilling, the product o...Based on the measurement mechanism of mobility in pressure measurement while drilling, through analyzing a large number of mobility data, it is found that under the condition of water-based mud drilling, the product of mobility from pressure measurement while drilling and the viscosity of mud filtrate is infinitely close to the water phase permeability under the residual oil in relative permeability experiment. Based on this, a method converting the mobility from pressure measurement while drilling to core permeability is proposed, and the permeability based on Timur formula has been established. Application of this method in Penglai 19-9 oilfield of Bohai Sea shows:(1) Compared with the permeability calculated by the model of adjacent oilfields, the permeability calculated by this model is more consistent with the permeability calculated by core analysis.(2) Based on the new model, the correlation between the calculated mobility of well logging and the actual drilling specific productivity index bas been established. Compared with the relationship established by using the permeability model of an adjacent oilfield, the correlation of the new model is better.(3) Productivity of four directional wells was predicted, and the prediction results are in good agreement with the actual production after drilling.展开更多
