The complexity of the internal structures can be described by using pseudo-entropy from seismic reflection data. By analyzing spatial variation in the pseudo-entropy of seismic data, the sedimentary facies types can be estimated and the pro- spective zones of sandstone can be predicted. This new method for sedimentary facies analysis has shown particular promise in the Erlian basin in North China.展开更多
