Learning English has been one of the important tasks necessary for students to complete. In the process of English leaming, students will be in a different psychological state: some keeps confident, and some step back. All these psychological states in English leaming have exerted a huge impact on English education. Therefore, targeted teaching strategies are necessarily taken by teachers in combination with the students' psychological states in English learning, and then twofold results with half the effort will be achieved.展开更多

Based on this theory, Chinese students in the United States are studied from three perspectives: linguistically, culturally, and social psychologically. It indicated that, to help Chinese students develop their English performance and cultural appreciation in this diverse world, the profession of English teaching in China should cover a variety of domains, including linguistic, cultural and psychological input. Both American and Chinese education can benefit from this special group of Chinese students if they can be better understood, and used as a bridge between China and U. S. cultural and academic exchange. In the meantime, the mirror held up to the Chinese students in these perspectives reflects not only who they are but also who they can become.展开更多
文摘With the widespread application of artificial permanent pacemakers in clinical practice, there have been new changes in the indications for pacemaker implantation. The current clinical indications include high atrioventricular block, sick sinus syndrome, cardiac resynchronization therapy for heart failure, and implantation of cardioverter defibrillators for ventricular arrhythmias. The implantation of a pacemaker can improve the quality of life and prognosis of patients with arrhythmia. In the past, permanent pacemaker implantation was performed in clinical practice, and the right ventricular pacing electrode was often fixed at the apex of the right ventricle, which belongs to non physiological pacing.Through long-term clinical follow-up,it was found that apex pacing can easily cause abnormal depolarization of the left ventricle, asynchronous contraction of the myocardium, and ultimately lead to myocardial fibrosis, which has adverse effects on the patient's cardiac function and psychological state. In recent years,Scholars have found that pacing in the right ventricular outflow tract septum is closer to the atrioventricular node and closer to the His bundle Purkinje fibers. The pacing impulse almost simultaneously expands towards both ventricles, closer to the physiological pacing state, thereby reducing the occurrence of cardiovascular events in patients. This article explores the impact of pacing in different parts of the heart on the cardiac function and psychological state of patients based on clinical data from the past three years.

文摘Objective:To investigate the impact of resistance training and aerobic exercise before doula-assisted delivery on the psychological well-being and labor duration of parturients.Methods:105 cases of parturients who gave birth in our hospital from February 2021 to April 2023 were included in this study. The patients were divided into a control group of 52 cases and an observation group of 53 cases. The patients in the control group received no particular intervention before delivery and only received doula assistance. The patients in the observation group received resistance training, aerobic exercise, and doula assistance prior to giving birth. After delivery, the mothers were observed for 2 hours in the delivery room and then returned to the maternal and infant ward. The observation indicators of the two groups were compared. Results:In comparison to the control group, the observation group exhibited shorter durations in the first, second, and third stages of labor,as well as the total delivery time.Additionally, the amount of postpartum blood loss at 2 hours was smaller in the observation group. The rate of cesarean section was lower, and the rate of vaginal natural delivery was higher in the observation group.Following the intervention, both groups of postpartum women showed decreased SAS and SDS scores compared to before the intervention. Moreover, the observation group had lower scores than the control group. These differences were all statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Resistance training and aerobic exercise before doula-assisted delivery can effectively improve the psychological state of parturients, shorten labor duration, increase the rate of natural vaginal delivery, and reduce pain and postpartum hemorrhage.

文摘BACKGROUND Although the specific pathogenesis of preterm birth(PTB)has not been thoroughly clarified,it is known to be related to various factors, such as pregnancy complications, maternal socioeconomic factors, lifestyle habits, reproductive history, environmental and psychological factors, prenatal care, and nutritional status.PTB has serious implications for newborns and families and is associated with high mortality and complications. Therefore, the prediction of PTB risk can facilitate early intervention and reduce its resultant adverse consequences.AIM To analyze the risk factors for PTB to establish a PTB risk prediction model and to assess postpartum anxiety and depression in mothers.METHODS A retrospective analysis of 648 consecutive parturients who delivered at Shenzhen Bao’an District Songgang People’s Hospital between January 2019 and January 2022 was performed.According to the diagnostic criteria for premature infants, the parturients were divided into a PTB group(n=60)and a full-term(FT)group(n=588).Puerperae were assessed by the Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self rating Depression Scale(SDS),based on which the mothers with anxiety and depression symptoms were screened for further analysis. The factors affecting PTB were analyzed by univariate analysis, and the related risk factors were identified by logistic regression.RESULTS According to univariate analysis, the PTB group was older than the FT group, with a smaller weight change and greater proportions of women who underwent artificial insemination and had gestational diabetes mellitus(P<0.05).In addition, greater proportions of women with reproductive tract infections and greater white blood cell(WBC)counts(P<0.05),shorter cervical lengths in the second trimester and lower neutrophil percentages(P<0.001)were detected in the PTB group than in the FT group. The PTB group exhibited higher postpartum SAS and SDS scores than did the FT group(P<0.0001),with a higher number of mothers experiencing anxiety and depression(P<0.001).Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that a greater maternal weight change, the presence of gestational diabetes mellitus,a shorter cervical length in the second trimester,a greater WBC count, and the presence of maternal anxiety and depression were risk factors for PTB(P<0.01).Moreover,the risk score of the FT group was lower than that of the PTB group, and the area under the curve of the risk score for predicting PTB was greater than 0.9.CONCLUSION This study highlights the complex interplay between postpartum anxiety and PTB,where maternal anxiety may be a potential risk factor for PTB,with PTB potentially increasing the incidence of postpartum anxiety in mothers. In addition,a greater maternal weight change, the presence of gestational diabetes mellitus,a shorter cervical length,a greater WBC count, and postpartum anxiety and depression were identified as risk factors for PTB.
文摘In the new period, the importance of English is becoming increasingly significant, and it has gradually developed to be the first international language. Learning English has been one of the important tasks necessary for students to complete. In the process of English leaming, students will be in a different psychological state: some keeps confident, and some step back. All these psychological states in English leaming have exerted a huge impact on English education. Therefore, targeted teaching strategies are necessarily taken by teachers in combination with the students' psychological states in English learning, and then twofold results with half the effort will be achieved.

文摘Objective:Functional constipation(FC)is a common problem in college students. In this study,we aimed to analyze emotional state and psychological well-being of college students.Methods:500 college students in Changqing University City of Jinan were selected for questionnaire survey.According to the Roma III diagnosis criteria,139 students were diagnosed patients with FC.Qiqing Assessment Scale Questionnaire was used to assess the emotional state of students with FC.Results:The prevalence rate of FC in college students was 32.5%.The psychological well-being score of normal students was higher than that of college students with FC.Significant difference was also observed in terms of mean score of emotional state dimensions in college students with FC.The score of worry was the highest, followed by anxiety and fright in college students with FC.Joy,as the only upward emotion in the seven emotions, had the lowest score. The scores of female students with FC were higher than those of men in anger, anxiety, sadness and worry. Conclusion:There is a close relationship between emotional factors and FC in college students.Emotional factors should be paid attention to in the prevention and treatment of FC.
文摘This article aims to approach the“spontaneous healing”of Sister Bernardette Moriau from the view point of transpersonal psychology or psychology of consciousness and also to compare it with the“spiritual awakening”of the philosopher Jiddu Krishnamurti. Thus, within this scope of investigation, this article will refer to the so-called“modified states of consciousness”characteristic of these transcendental experiences, which are promoted by prayer and meditation, leading to“heat release”and“muscle relaxation”.These two cases of studies are part of the so-called“manifestations of the sacred”in the reality of contemporary society, which are studied by the Transcendence Neurology. This might contribute to a deeper knowledge of the role and place of ourselves in the Universe.
文摘Language acquisition is a system with four components: language development, academic development, cognitive development and sociocultural development. In the meantime, the mirror held up to the Chinese students in these perspectives reflects not only who they are but also who they can become.
