Mapping of there factor showed their...A total of 48 samples from the core AB 67 at Barrow are analyzed for 25 grain size items and 44 geochemical items. Q mode factor analysis applied to these data yielded 4 factors. Mapping of there factor showed their close affinity to sedimentary environment; these core sedimentary rate, precipitation, sea level change, annual temperature. Paleoenvironmentary transfer functions were defined to estimate mean annual temperature and annual precipitation from corelationship between 5 samples at core top and observation record from Barrow Meteorology Observatory. Sedimentary rate was determinated from dating by 210 Pb and several environment events, and sea level from changes of sedimentary phase. The reconstructed temperature and precipitation curves show that Barrow climate is colder and drier in the 16th and the 17th century, temperature rose up and precipitation fluctuated sharply in the 18th and the 19th century, these two changes are greater in the 20th century. The reconstructed temperature curves agree with the variation of assemblages of micropaleontology.展开更多

By using data of China's listed IT companies, we focus on the relationship among corporate value (net return of equity, ROE) or development of COl'porate value (Tobin's Q) and manager's salary, R&D fee, R&D employee etc. The conclusion shows that development of corporate value (Tobin's Q) has correlativity positive with the plurality of board chairman and general manager, independent directors' proportion, R&D fee, and R&D employees while it is non-obvious positive with salary of superior managers, holding stocks of general manager, capital investment, and negative with corporate scale. The conclusion is accordant with the development status of Chinese IT corporate.展开更多
In this paper,we study compressed data separation(CDS)problem,i.e.,sparse data separation from a few linear random measurements.We propose the nonconvex ℓ_(q)-split analysis with ℓ_(∞)-constraint and 0<q≤1.We cal...In this paper,we study compressed data separation(CDS)problem,i.e.,sparse data separation from a few linear random measurements.We propose the nonconvex ℓ_(q)-split analysis with ℓ_(∞)-constraint and 0<q≤1.We call the algorithm ℓ_(q)-split-analysis Dantzig selector(ℓ_(q)-split-analysis DS).We show that the two distinct subcomponents that are approximately sparse in terms of two different dictionaries could be stably approximated via the ℓ_(q)-split-analysis DS,provided that the measurement matrix satisfies either a classical D-RIP(Restricted Isometry Property with respect to Dictionaries and ℓ_(2) norm)or a relatively new(D,q)-RIP(RIP with respect to Dictionaries and ℓ_(q)-quasi norm)condition and the two different dictionaries satisfy a mutual coherence condition between them.For the Gaussian random measurements,the measurement number needed for the(D,q)-RIP condition is far less than those needed for the D-RIP condition and the(D,1)-RIP condition when q is small enough.展开更多

Their difference is that the geostrophic wind in quasi-geostrophic Q vector is replaced by the w...Following similar derivation of quasi-geostrophic Q vector (Q^C), a new Q vector (Q^N) is constructed in this study. Their difference is that the geostrophic wind in quasi-geostrophic Q vector is replaced by the wind in Q^N vector. The diagnostic analysis of Q^N vector is compared with that of Q^G vector in the case study of a typical Meiyu front cyclone (MYFC) occurred over Changjiang-Huaihe regions during 5-6 July 1991. The results show that the Q^N vector has more diagnostic advantages than Q^G vector does. Convergence of Q^N vector at 700 hPa is found to be a good indicator to mimic the horizontal distribution of precipitation. Q^N vector is further partitioned into four components: Q^Nalst (along-stream stretching),Q^Ncurv (curvature),Q^Nshdv (shear advection), and Q^Ncrst (cross-stream stretching) in a natural coordinate system with isohypse (PG partitioning). The application of Q^N PG partitioning in the MYFC torrential rain indicates that PG partitioning of Q can identify dominant physical processes. The horizontal distribution of 2V·Q^Nalst is similar to that of 2V·Q^N and mainly accounts for 2V·Q^N during the entire period of Meiyu. The effects of Q^Ncurv on rainfall enhancement fade from the mature stage to decay stage. Qshdv enhances precipitation significantly as the MYFC develops, and the effect weakens rapidly when the MYFC decays during its eastward propagation. Q^Ncrst shows little impacts on rainfall during the onset and mature phases whereas it displays significant role during the decay phase.Q^N alst and Q^Nshdv and Q^Ncrst show cancellation only during the decay period.展开更多
