Due to the pipe ruptures caused by wall thinning in Surry unit 2 of USA in 1986 and in Mihama unit 3 of Japan in 1994, the pipe wall thinning management has emerged as one of the most important issues in nuclear power plants. To manage the pipe wall thinning in the secondary system, Korea has used a foreign program since 1996. As using the foreign country’s program for long term, it was necessary to improve from the perspective of the users. Accordingly, KEPCO-E & C has started to develop the 3D-based pipe wall thinning management program (ToSPACE, Total Solution for Piping And Component Engineering management) from eight years ago, and the development was successful. This paper describes the major functions included in ToSPACE program, such as 3D-based DB (Database) buildup, development of FAC and erosion evaluation theories, UT (Ultra-sonic Test) data reliability analysis, field connection with 3D, automatic establishment of long-term inspection plan, etc. ToSPACE program was developed to allow site engineers performing the selection of inspection quantity at each refueling outage, UT data reliability analysis, UT evaluation, determination of next inspection timing, identification of the inspecting and replacing components in 3D drawings, etc., to access easily.展开更多

This study aimed to assess expectant management of PPROM before 34 weeks at the university hospital of Kinshasa. We conducted a retrospective analysis of expectantly managed PROM before 34 weeks between January 2008 and December 2018. Maternal and fetal outcomes were collected, and all data were analyzed using the SPSS 23.0 software. Of the 113 patients included in the study, 2.6% were diagnosed with PROM before 34 weeks. We observed prolongation of the pregnancy duration;the median latency period was eight days, and the average gestational age at delivery of 32.85 ± 2.5 weeks. Chorioamnionitis (23%), severe oligoamnios (7%), and acute fetal distress (4%) were complications observed during the latency period. In the postpartum period, endometritis (6.2%), neonatal jaundice (39.8%), anemia (25.7%), ulcerative necrotizing enterocolitis (6.2%), cerebromeningeal hemorrhage (5.3%), and acute respiratory distress syndrome (4.4%) were complications observed. The risk of infection during the latency period was significantly associated with irregular (P = 0.045) or lack (P = 0.006) antenatal care (ANC) attendances and C-Reactive Protein (CRP) results 6 (P = 0.013). The risk of neonatal death was significantly associated to infection during the latency period (P = 0.011), irregular (P = 0.009) or lack of ANC (P = 0.000) attendances, Birth weight g (P = 0.039) as well as Gestational age at birth between 28 to 30 Weeks (S) (P = 0.021). These findings report first-time pregnancy outcomes related to the management of PPROM before 34 weeks in our setting. We found that the conservative attitude adopted allowed the prolongation of pregnancies, reducing the risks associated with prematurity. Nevertheless, attendance in good quality ANC could reduce the frequency of PROM and related adverse outcomes.展开更多

Different than conventional disposal at landfills, waste is penetrated by synthetic roots that serve dual mission for biogas collection and leachate recirculation. RA-MSW roots are permeable hydropho- bic polymer material that are formed on-place or prefabricated at factory from recyclable material available on the dumping area. Since the material is hydrophobic, it does not contain water in the voids providing more space for gas transport and collection. The roots are also interchangeably used for leachate recirculation where the parameters of wa- ter content, nutrients, pH, and temperature are optimized to enhance biogas production simultaneously with leachate treatment. RA-MSW provides new approach of waste management and control;it has new virtues of landfill operation;new material medium for biogas collection;new biocell design configuration;new manipulation for leachate and biogas. The approach adds new merits for solid waste management, bio-energy utilization, and the concept of 5 R’s cycle for MSW management.展开更多

This subject can affect society, economy, and environment and can be a serious threat for development. In 10 years ago over 200 million people are have been effected both life and property. This figure is seven times more than losses in war. After the earthquake in Bam (a city in south Iran), tsunami in south-eastern of Asia, fire in Australia, and other disasters, the management of disaster has been considered more than before. They have tried to use all facilities and equipment for reduction of disaster damage. Over 80% of necessary data in disaster management are spatial data. Spatial data and advanced technologies have an important role in disaster management because Geographic Information System (GIS) can help in identifying disaster points. GIS combines geospatial data, and hardware, software that can analyze data to produce information. GIS mainly involves saving and analysis of data according to spatial and attribute data. GIS can combine and analyze spatial and non-spatial data .We have made an attempt to consider disasters management according to facilities and role of Geospatial Technology in control of disaster (especially earthquake).展开更多

A balanced nutrition intake is essential for health as well as a speedy recovery of such wounds. The study objective was to compare chronic wound inpatients supplemented with food nutrient content with outpatients with their usual intake in a cross-sectional study. Patients’ food samples were taken for chemical analyses. The protein, beta-carotene, sodium, magnesium, manganese, and potassium content prove statistically significant differences. Outpatients’ diets are more diversified than inpatients’ diets, and supplementation diet richest in beta-carotene and in protein. Outpatients have better dietary diversity than those who were hospitalized. The result provides insights of supplementary food as critical issues pertaining to chronic wounds management. However, analyzing bioavailability of nutrient on patients’ blood may provide more knowledge in the appropriate integrated wound management.展开更多

Industry-wide practices include the use of geophysical and similar technologies to determine depth and location, and 2D as-built plans integrated with GIS databases for information management. The feasibility of incorporating 3D BIM models of the subsurface to replace the 2D plans to improve visualization and data management is examined in this paper. Obtaining an accurate image of the underground infrastructure would help minimize excavation accidents due to equipment-utility collisions and prevent property damage. Further, the inclusion of automated data collection and sharing features realized through BIM technology can enhance operations of smart cities. The research methodology consists of a state-of-the-art review of the current underground utility management systems, combined with statistical analysis of survey responses received from utility providers and one-call centers in the U.S. Three categories of utility practices are identified based on the level of digital technology integration. It is found that a vast majority of utility firms have adopted GIS databases with 2D plans, depth and other asset information, while a smaller percentage of providers have achieved full GIS-BIM in<span style="font-family:Verdana;">tegration, incorporating a wide range of asset data. Future progress on</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> broader implementation appears to be constrained by the digital literacy of personnel </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">and high costs of technology acquisition and application. A three-step frame</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">work for converting 2D plans to 3D BIM models is also presented and discussed. The process model proposed for this purpose allows the utilization of commercially available software with minimal need for additional coding.</span>展开更多

Inorder to meet the needs of sustainability of enterprises and protect environment, the concept of green management isdeveloped and regarded as an important direction of management theory of the 21st century. Though there are manytheories and practices about green management in western countries, they are built based on the developed marketeconomy, which are not suitable for Chinese enterprises absolutely. By analyzing the viewpoints and models of theoverseas and domestic experts and scholars, combining characteristic of China’s market economy, this paper points outthe real connotation of enterprise green management - the combination of ecological harmony (harmony between humanand nature) with human harmony (harmony among people), establishes a 3D theoretical model, points out the defects ofenterprise’s green management in China, reanalyzes and redesigned enterprise green management, which paves the wayfor the deeper and broader development of green management.展开更多

GIS combines geospatial data, and hardware, software that can analyze data to produce information. GIS mainly involves saving and analysis of data according to spatial and attribute data. GIS can combine and analyze spatial and non-spatial data .We have made an attempt to consider disasters management according to facilities and role of Geospatial Technology in control of disaster (especially earthquake).
文摘Chronic and potential non-healing wounds are a great challenge for patients, physicians, and wound care professionals and the health system. However, analyzing bioavailability of nutrient on patients’ blood may provide more knowledge in the appropriate integrated wound management.
文摘Objective Discuss and reform community nursing practice teaching mode, and improve effects of community nursing teaching. Method Students are grouped into experimental group and control group randomly. Students in the experimental group manage individualized health of diabetes patients in the observation group, and students in the control group conduct group health education and management for diabetes patients, no individualized health management. Results Students in the two groups compare cognition about this course and community nursing before teaching, no remarkable difference (all P values are ? 0.05), and compare diabetes knowledge and living behaviors of the old in the two groups, no remarkable difference (all P values are ? 0.05). After teaching, students in the two groups compare recognition of this course and community nursing as well as test performance, and there are remarkable differences (all P values are ? 0.05). And comparison of diabetes knowledge and living behaviors of the old in the two groups shows remarkable differences (all P values are ? 0.05). The implementation of individualized health management mode in community nursing practice teaching can improve students' professional knowledge and competence, and help diabetes patients to form good behaviors and life styles. The combination of community nursing practice teaching and individualized health management for diabetes patients can improve students' professional knowledge and competence, and help diabetes patients to control illness state and improve their physical conditions.

文摘The hospital medical crisis management is the strategy adopted by hospitals for medical crisis. It aims to minimize the loss brought about by medical crisis to the hospital through management.By using 4R theory of crisis management and taking the incident of"sky-high medical expenses"happened in Second Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University as an example,we study how to improve and perfect the medical crisis management strategy of hospitals in our country. As a result,we think hospitals can improve the crisis management strategy from four aspects of curtailment, preparation, reaction and resilience,so as to solve this issue appropriately, protect the legitimate rights and interests of patients to the greatest extent and promote the sustainable development of the hospital.
文摘Installation, detection, maintenance, mapping, and management of underground utility assets present challenges to owners, engineers and contractors. The process model proposed for this purpose allows the utilization of commercially available software with minimal need for additional coding.</span>
文摘Due to unusual climatic events, more and more strong typhoons(or hurricanes)appear, thus, governments have to formulate suitable crisis management for the visits of typhoons.Recently the visit of typhoon Hato has already caught public’s attention on the effectiveness of Macao SAR Government’s crisis management. The study bases on news coverage of typhoon Hato and the theoretical framework, derived from crisis stage theory and 4R model of crisis management,to review Macao’s crisis management.Expectedly,Macao SAR Government is requested to strengthen corresponding infrastructure and collaboration with neighboring cities in crisis warning system.Senior management accountability and urban renewal policy are also demanded by Macao residents.
文摘ANTI-N-METHYL-D-ASPARTATE (NMDA) receptorencephalitis is a newly recognized autoimmunedisease. It is predominantly described in youngwomen with a series of symptoms, includingpersonality change, memory loss, seizures, involuntarymovements, autonomic dysfunction et al.1 It is commonlyassociated with mature ovarian teratomas.2 Since its firstdenomination by Dalmau et al,1 many scientific publicationshave emerged on anti-NMDA receptor encephalitis, butonly a few focused on the anesthetic management ofpatients with this disease.3-5 Herein we reported two caseswith anti-NMDA receptor encephalitis in association withovarian teratoma and discussed the anesthetic managementand the outcomes of these patients.
文摘Companies that not only abide by environmental regulations, but also discover new techniques and adopt newmanagement methods to reduce negative environmental impacts often have positive effects on corporate profitability. By analyzing the viewpoints and models of theoverseas and domestic experts and scholars, combining characteristic of China’s market economy, this paper points outthe real connotation of enterprise green management - the combination of ecological harmony (harmony between humanand nature) with human harmony (harmony among people), establishes a 3D theoretical model, points out the defects ofenterprise’s green management in China, reanalyzes and redesigned enterprise green management, which paves the wayfor the deeper and broader development of green management.
文摘Chemical industry project management involves complex decision making situations that require discerning abilities and methods to make sound decisions. Chemical engineers as project managers are faced with decision environments and problems in chemical industry projects that are complex. Multiple-criteria decision making (MCDM) approaches are major parts of decision theory and analysis. This paper presents all of MCDM approaches for use in chemical engineering management decisions.
