Japanese) of A. auricular cultivated in Heilongjiang Province were analyzed by RAPD (Random Amplication polymorphic DNA). Thirteen primers were selected from forty PCR primers with 10bp long random primer. The results showed that nine strains of A. auricular have a high level of genetic diversity and the percentage of DNA polymorphic was 96.05. The genotypes of 9 strains of Auricularia auricular were identified by the fingerprints from primer 27 and primer 46 by RAPD analysis. The results are helpful for quickly identifying strains of A. auricular in its early breeding time, and also provides a powerful theoretic basis to differentiate strains (Auricularia auricular) whose morphology is very similar in breeding programs of edible fungus.展开更多

A female Chinese shrimp Penaeus (Fenneropaeneus) chinensis was captured from west coast of the Korean peninsula and mated with a "Yellow Sea No. 1" male to produce the first filial generation (F1) 100 F2 full-sib progeny from brother-sister crosses between F1 families was used for the mapping study. A genetic linkage map of the Chinese shrimp was constructed, based on 354 markers, including 300 amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP) markers, 42 microsatellite (SSR) markers, and 12 randomly amplified polymorphism (RAPD) markers. Forty-seven linkage groups (LGs) were identified. The total map length was 4 580.5 cM, with an average spacing of 11.3 cM, covering 75.8% of the estimated genome size. The construction of this genetic linkage map was part of a genetic breeding program. This linkage map will contribute to the discovery of genes and quantitative trait loci (QTLs) in Chinese shrimp.展开更多

Isolation, screening, characterization, identification and fingerprint of the soil oxalate degrading bacteria from Egyptian fertile soil was aimed in this work. Isolated bacteria were first characterized using API 20 NE system. Nine RAPD primers were used in genetic fingerprinting of the characterized bacteria using RAPD-PCR. The preliminary characterization and polyphasic taxonomy for mesophilic, aerobic oxalate-degrading bacteria isolated from Egyptian fertile soil including auxanography using API galleries confirmed that the isolate belonged to the genus Burkholderia cepacia, the percentage of identity was 99.8% for 5167777 profiles. Fingerprinting by RAPD-PCR showed a DNA fingerprint ranging from 0 to 9 bands, over a size range of 344 bp to 3,280 bp.展开更多
