A complete (100% fault efficiency) test sequence for an acyclic sequential circuit can be obtained by applying a combinational test generator to all the maximal time-expansion models (TEMs) of the circuit. We propose a class of acyclic sequential circuits for which the number of maximal TEMs is one, i.e, the maximum TEM exists. For a circuit in the class, test generation can be performed by using only the maximum TEM. The proposed class of sequential circuits with the maximum TEM properly includes several known classes of acyclic sequential circuits such as balanced structures and acyclic sequential circuits without hold registers for which test generation can be also performed by using a combinational test generator. Therefore, in general, the hardware overhead for partial scan based on the proposed structure is smaller than that based on balanced or acyclic sequential structure without hold registers.展开更多

However, the creation of registers as independent information systems, which takes place to this day, is now inadvisable, since the necessary information can be obtained from the Electronic Healthcare Record/ Electronic Medical Record. In this case, specialized registers are implemented as virtual systems of a temporary or permanent type. This study aims to find the compound registers that are used among the Farm-Centre cell-phone marketers,analyse their compounding morphological structures,and explain the meaning they convey.The Farm-Centre Cell-phone...This study aims to find the compound registers that are used among the Farm-Centre cell-phone marketers,analyse their compounding morphological structures,and explain the meaning they convey.The Farm-Centre Cell-phone Market is located in Kano metropolis,the largest city of Northern Nigeria.The study employs an ethnographic method of data collection and adopts Abubakar(2000)as a model of approach when analysing the structures of the compound registers.It is found that the registers have the following six morphological compound structures:(i)Genitive-based compounds[LG+N]N,(ii)Noun-based compounds[N+GL+N]N,(iii)Adjective-based compounds[Adj+N]N,(iv)Diminutive-based compounds[Dim+N]N,(v)Particle dà‘with’compounds[dà+N]N,(vi)Verb-based compounds[V+VN/Prep]V.Moreover,the registers are so special among the marketers because they convey meanings that are irrelevant to the conventional meanings known by the general speakers of the Hausa language.展开更多
The stability of Non-Linear Feedback Shift Registers(NFSRs)plays an important role in the cryptographic security.Due to the complexity of nonlinear systems and the lack of efficient algebraic tools,the theorems relate...The stability of Non-Linear Feedback Shift Registers(NFSRs)plays an important role in the cryptographic security.Due to the complexity of nonlinear systems and the lack of efficient algebraic tools,the theorems related to the stability of NFSRs are still not well-developed.In this paper,we view the NFSR with periodic inputs as a Boolean control network.Based on the mathematical tool of semi-tensor product(STP),the Boolean network can be mapped into an algebraic form.Through these basic theories,we analyze the state space of non-autonomous NFSRs,and discuss the stability of an NFSR with periodic inputs of limited length or unlimited length.The simulation results are provided to prove the efficiency of the model.Based on these works,we can provide a method to analyze the stability of the NFSR with periodic input,including limited length and unlimited length.By this,we can efficiently reduce the computational complexity,and its efficiency is demonstrated by applying the theorem in simulations dealing with the stability of a non-autonomous NFSR.展开更多

To understand the current situation of institutional registration in Shaanxi Province after the implementation ofregistration system management in drug clinical trial institutions.Relevant information was collected on...To understand the current situation of institutional registration in Shaanxi Province after the implementation ofregistration system management in drug clinical trial institutions.Relevant information was collected on the“Announcement on the Accreditation of Drug Clinical Trial Institutions”issued by the National Medical Products Administration from 2005 to August 2022,the record management information system of drug and medical device clinical trial institutions,and the drug clinical trial registration and information publicity platform.A retrospective analysis was carried out in terms of institutional development,regional distribution,registered majors,principal investigators,and the number of drug clinical trials.After the implementation of institution registration,the number of drug clinical trial institutions in Shaanxi Province increased by 47.4%,884 principal investigators were registered,the number of registered majors expanded from 58 qualified to 117,and the professional scope increased by 50.4%.The policy of institution registration is conducive to promoting the rational use of medical resources and the development of drug clinical trial institutions and improving the healthy development of the pharmaceutical industry in Shaanxi Province.展开更多

Recent digital applications will require highly efficient and high-speed gadgets and it is related to the minimum delay and power consumption.The proposed work deals with a low-power clock pulsed data flip-flop(D flip...Recent digital applications will require highly efficient and high-speed gadgets and it is related to the minimum delay and power consumption.The proposed work deals with a low-power clock pulsed data flip-flop(D flip-flop)using a transmission gate.To accomplish a power-efficient pulsed D flip-flop,clock gating is proposed.The gated clock reduces the unnecessary switching of the transistors in the circuit and thus reduces the dynamic power consumption.The clock gating approach is employed by using an AND gate to disrupt the clock input to the circuit as per the control signal called Enable.Due to this process,the clock gets turned off to reduce power consumption when there is no change in the output.The proposed transmission gate-based pulsed D flip-flop’s performance with clock gating and without clock gating circuit is analyzed.The proposed pulsed D flip-flop power consumption is 1.586μw less than the without clock gated flip-flop.Also,the authors have designed a 3-bit serial-in and parallel-out shift register using the proposed D flip-flop and analyzed the performance.Tanner Electronic Design Automation tool is used to simulate all the circuits with 45 nm technology.展开更多

On a single chip, an enhanced one-cycle 8-bit micro controller unit (MCU), media access control (MAC) circuit and embedded memories such as static random access memory (SRAM), read only memory (ROM) and flash are all integrated together. In order to achieve high fault coverage, at the same time with low test power, different DFT techniques are adopted for different circuits: the scan circuit that reduces switching activity is implemented for digital logic circuits; BIST-based method is employed for the on-chip SRAM and ROM. According to the fault-modeling of embedded flash, we resort to a March-like method for flash built in self test (BIST). By all means above, the result shows that the fault coverage may reach 97%, and the SoC chip is implemented successfully by using 0.25 μm two-poly four-metal mixed signal complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) technology, the die area is 4.8×4.6 mm^2. Test results show that the maximum throughput of Ethemet packets may reach 7Mb·s^1.展开更多
