Within the framework of isospin-dependent Boltzmann-Langevin model,the production cross sections of proton-rich nuclei with Z=20-25 are investigated.According to the reaction results for different isospin of projectiles^(48)Ni,^(49)Ni,and^(50)Ni,proton-rich fragments tend to be more easily produced in reactions with the protonrich projectile^(48)Ni.The production cross sections of the unknown nuclei in the vicinity of the projectile are sensitive to incident energy.It is observed that incident energy of 345 MeV/u is appropriate for producing proton-rich nuclei with Z=20-25.In projectile fragmentation reactions based on the radioactive ion beam of48Ni at 345MeV/u,several unknown proton-rich nuclei near the proton drip line are generated in the simulations.All these new nuclei are near-projectile elements near Z=28.The production cross sections of the new nuclei^(34)Ca,37,38Sc,^(38)Ti,^(40,41,42)V,^(40,41)Cr,and^(42,43,44,45)Mn are in the range of 10-2-102mb.Hence,projectile fragmentation of radioactive ion beams of Ni is a potential method for generating new proton-rich nuclei with Z=20-25. 展开更多

Effective extraction and regeneration of radioactive iodide is one of urgent concerns for the safe utilization of nuclear energy.As a novel environmentally benign ion separation technique,electrochemically switched ion extraction(ESIE)process can be applied for effective capture and recovery of iodide ions(I^(-)).Herein,a novel kelp seaweed-like core/shell I^(-)imprinted polypyrrole@bismuth oxyiodide(PPy/I^(-)@BiOI)composite film is successfully prepared for the selective I^(-)capture in the ESIE system.It is found that the I^(-)can be easily trapped in the PPy/I^(-)@BiOI film after I^(-)is in situ desorbed from the film by an electrochemical reduction process since it offers particular electroactive binding sites for I^(-)extraction.The I^(-)imprinted PPy/I^(-)@BiOI film displays an extraction capacity as high as 325.2 mg·g^(-1)for I^(-)with favorable stability.In particular,the extraction and desorption of I^(-)is achieved by adjusting the redox potential and the pristine PPy/I^(-)@BiOI film can be regenerated and reused for multiple times without decrease in extraction capacity.It is expected that such a PPy/I^(-)@BiOI film would be useful as an electrochemically switched renewable extractor that could capture and regenerate I^(-)from radioactive water. 展开更多

We report the charge-changing cross sections(σ_(cc))of 24 p-shell nuclides on both hydrogen and carbon at about 900A MeV,of which^(8,9)Li,^(10–12)Be,^(10,14,15)B,^(14,15,17–22)N and^(16)O on hydrogen and^(8,9)Li on... We report the charge-changing cross sections(σ_(cc))of 24 p-shell nuclides on both hydrogen and carbon at about 900A MeV,of which^(8,9)Li,^(10–12)Be,^(10,14,15)B,^(14,15,17–22)N and^(16)O on hydrogen and^(8,9)Li on carbon are for the first time.Benefiting from the data set,we found a new and robust relationship between the scaling factor of the Glauber model calculations and the separation energies of the nuclei of interest on both targets.This allows us to deduce proton radii(R_p)for the first time from the cross sections on hydrogen.Nearly identical R_p values are deduced from both target data for the neutron-rich carbon isotopes;however,the R_p from the hydrogen target is systematically smaller in the neutron-rich nitrogen isotopes.This calls for further experimental and theoretical investigations. 展开更多

The elastic scattering angular distributions of ^(13)C at 340 MeV and ^(14)C at 294 MeV and 342 MeV on a ^(208)Pb target,which correspond to approximately five times the Coulomb barriers,were measured at the Radioacti... The elastic scattering angular distributions of ^(13)C at 340 MeV and ^(14)C at 294 MeV and 342 MeV on a ^(208)Pb target,which correspond to approximately five times the Coulomb barriers,were measured at the Radioactive Ion Beam Line in Lanzhou.The data were analyzed within the optical model and continuum-discretized coupled-channels(CDCC)framework,and the results of both calculations could effectively account for the experimental data.The differential cross sections of elastic scattering revealed no particular suppression at the Coulomb nuclear interference peak angles,suggesting that the breakup coupling effects on the elastic scattering angular distributions were negligibly small in this incident energy region.The contributions from the couplings with inelastic states to the elastic cross sections were of minor importance within the angular range covered by these experiments. 展开更多

A pilot experiment of mass measurement was performed at CSRe with the method of isochronous mass spectrometry. The secondary fragments produced via RIBLL2 with the primary beam of 400 MeV/u ^36Ar delivered by CSRm were injected into CSRe. The revolution periods of the stored ions,which depend on the mass-to-charge ratios of the stored ions,were measured with a time-of-flight detector system. The results show that the mass resolution around 8×10^-6 for △m/m is achieved. 展开更多

Elastic scattering of 10Be on a 208Pb target was measured at ELab=127 MeV,which corresponds to three times the Coulomb barrier.The secondary 10Be beam was produced at the Radioactive Ion Beam Line in Lanzhou of the Heavy-Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou.The angular distribution of elastic scattering in the 10 Be+208Pb system shows a typical Fresnel diffraction peak.Optical model analysis of the angular distribution was performed using the Woods-Saxon,double-folding and global potentials.With the global potential,different density distributions were used.The results indicate that different density distributions for the projectile induce distinct effects in the angular distribution. 展开更多
