Effect Evaluation of CBL Combined with Rain Classroom Teaching Method in Medical Statistics

Objective: To explore the application effect of CBL combined with rain classroom teaching method in medical statistics courses. Methods: The undergraduate students of medical imaging technology in 2019 and 2020 in a university were selected as the research objects. A cluster sampling method was used to select 79 undergraduate students from 2019 in the control group and 75 undergraduate students from 2020 in the experimental group. Traditional teaching method and CBL combined with rain classroom teaching method was used in the control group and experimental group respectively. The final examination scores of the two groups were compared. In experimental group, the correlation between the average score in the rain classroom and the final examination score was tested, and the teaching effect was evaluated. Results: The average score of final examination in experimental group and control group was 79.13 ± 10.32 points and 71.54 ± 14.752 points, respectively, which had a statistically significant difference (Z = 2.586, P = 0.012);the final examination scores of the students in the experimental group were positively correlated with the average scores of the rain classroom (r = 0.372, P = 0.001), and the proportion of satisfaction in the experimental group was 94.7%. Conclusion: The CBL combined with rain classroom teaching method can improve the teaching effectiveness of medical statistics courses. 展开更多

[Objectives]To evaluate the effectiveness of Rain Classroom intelligent teaching in the course of Spring Water Tourism Resources.[Methods]The course of Spring Water Tourism Resources in the course of Overview of Tourism Resources was taken as an example,the pre-class preparation,in-class teaching,and after-class evaluation links were designed separately through the Rain Classroom platform.Then,a questionnaire survey was carried out for the students of Spring Water Tourism Resources.[Results]About 58.3%of the students believed that the greatest advantage of using the Rain Classroom teaching platform is that the learning method is flexible and can improve the ability of independent learning;61.78%of students stated that playing 3D animation in the classroom has the best effect for learning different tourism resources;with the aid of the Rain Classroom platform,the communication between teachers and students becomes more timely,and the students' ability to deal with practical problems can be practiced.[Conclusions]This study is intended to build an intelligent classroom model suitable for tourism management department based on the Rain Classroom platform.It is recommended to promote and apply this model in the teaching of tourism management. 展开更多

Under the flipped classroom teaching theory, the aim of this paper is to explore whether the teaching model of“student-oriented, teacher-led” can help improve the learning effect of Japanese major students by adopting themixed online and offline teaching method of rain classroom. Two Japanese majors classes of Grade 19 in BISUwere taken as the research objects of the one-semester comparative experiment. The study found there wereobvious differences in learning effect and learning experience between the two classes. The experiment proves thatthe role of teachers in flipped classroom is more obvious than that of traditional teaching. If teachers can activelyplay the role of teacher-student interaction, Japanese professional level of the students can be effectively improved. 展开更多

The study delves into the online teaching practice that uses "Rain Classroom" for the school-based curriculum of college English and explored whether such a teaching mode can arouse students’ interests in learning,and enhance their learning effect and satisfaction by means of a questionnaire survey and semi-structured interviews to collect feedback from students of art or physical education majors on the effectiveness of Rain Classroom-based teaching for quantitative and qualitative analysis.The collected data indicates that this teaching mode was greatly accepted by these students,who showed strong interests in learning,but as they were not disciplined much in their studies,their learning effect was not significant.Therefore,this paper concluded therefore that we should integrate such smart teaching modes as Rain Classroom with traditional classroom teaching styles to tap the benefits of blended learning which features the combination of information technology(IT) with foreign language teaching. 展开更多

Effectiveness of the“online+offline+practice”trinity teaching model on the learning of junior nursing students:an exploratory study

Background:Surgical Nursing is a main course of nursing specialty and a large course lasting 96 credit hours.In response to the teaching pain points such as the complicated and boring content of the surgical nursing course and the disconnection between classroom theory and clinical practice,surgical nursing is undergoing a teaching reform.Methods:The Surgical Nursing course builds trinity teaching model of“online+offline+practice”and implements teaching reforms by combining the Bridge,Objective,Pre-assessment,Participatory learning,Post-assessment,and Summary(BOPPPS)teaching concept.We constructed a trinity teaching model,and these teaching reform measures included building an online learning platform,offline case teaching and scenario simulation and hospital and community practice.The 50 students in the junior year of the undergraduate nursing program in the class of 2020 were used as the study subjects,and the students’comprehensive scores were compared.The questionnaire was also used to assess students’independent learning ability and to evaluate students’satisfaction with the teaching.Results:The students’course pass(≥60 points)rate was 100%,and the excellence(≥80 points)rate was 24.00%.Students’independent learning ability improved,and the scores and total scores of cognitive self-management ability,information ability and learning co-operation ability were significantly better than those of the national norm(P<0.01).The satisfaction of students in the BOPPPS group with classroom teaching was also significantly higher than that of the control group.Conclusion:The“online+offline+practice”trinity teaching mode can effectively integrate the“Rain Classroom”online platform with the BOPPPS teaching mode.It guides students to actively participate in classroom thinking and discussion,improves students’independent learning ability,and effectively enhances the effect of classroom teaching. 展开更多
