Library-Inside:AI赋能图书馆新质生产力的一种基础模型

AI正引发知识服务的生产力×生产关系的革命性变革,迫切需要推动AI与图书馆服务深度融合,打造符合新的发展理念的先进生产力质态。本文提出,从第一性原则思维出发,面向复杂适应性系统,以问题驱动和场景驱动的创新和设计驱动的创新,不断演进发展AI赋能的图书馆服务的新质生产力。在回归原点分析“人们到图书馆干什么”的基础上,基于大语言模型+AI智能体提供的能力,提出Library-Inside作为AI赋能图书馆新质生产力的一种基础模型,并描述了三种可能的实现模式:Library-Inside 1.0作为用户知识应用的智能助手,Library-Inside 2.0作为用户知识生产的智慧座舱和Library-Inside 3.0(Library×)打造用户AI赋能知识生产力的生态养育站。本文指出,要以战略创新推动图书馆新质生产力发展,要注意克服战略创新中的内在的结构性缺失和系统性偏差。

An efficient method for constructing a random insertional mutant library for forward genetics in Nannochloropsis oceanica

Insertional mutation,phenotypic evaluation,and mutated gene cloning are widely used to clone genes from scratch.Exogenous genes can be integrated into the genome during non-homologous end joining(NHEJ)of the double-strand breaks of DNA,causing insertional mutation.The random insertional mutant library constructed using this method has become a method of forward genetics for gene cloning.However,the establishment of a random insertional mutant library requires a high transformation efficiency of exogenous genes.Many microalgal species show a low transformation efficiency,making constructing random insertional mutant libraries difficult.In this study,we established a highly efficient transformation method for constructing a random insertional mutant library of Nannochloropsis oceanica,and tentatively tried to isolate its genes to prove the feasibility of the method.A gene that may control the growth rate and cell size was identified.This method will facilitate the genetic studies of N.oceanica,which should also be a reference for other microalgal species.

The Book Publishing and Analysis of Modern Peking University Library

The paper is based on literature search,introducing and analyzing the book publishing situation of modern Peking University Library from the perspective of the publisher being Peking University Library and its predecessor.It is pointed out that the majority of the book printing methods published by the modern Peking University Library are lead printing,and among the types of Chinese library classification,catalogue of library collections is the most common.

Other Cities’Distribution Institutions for Publishing Books in Modern Chinese Libraries:Taking Huating Bookstore,the Shanghai General Distribution Office of Modern Zhejiang Library,as an Example

Many modern Chinese libraries have established distribution agencies in other cities to distribute books published or sold on consignment.Huating Bookstore,which was once the Shanghai General Distribution Office of Zhejiang Library in modern times,is one of them.On the basis of a brief description of modern Zhejiang Library and its book publishing,as well as the overview of Huating Bookstore,the paper introduces and analyzes the ZPL Publishing Book Catalogue sent by Huating Bookstore,and the ZPL publishing and selling consignment books issued by Huating Bookstore.It points out that Huating Bookstore is a bridge between the ZPL located in Hangzhou and various retail ZPL publishing bookstores in Shanghai.Their production and sales relationship is a mutually beneficial one.

Integrated Project Library Exploration in Landscape Design Teaching for Environmental Design Majors

To enhance our talent cultivation model through“school-enterprise cooperation and industry-teaching fusion”,we aim to improve the“4321”Industry-Education Integration System.This includes actively promoting the use of case banks and project banks in teaching to develop students’practical engineering skills through hands-on application of professional knowledge.Additionally,landscape design courses emphasize practical learning experiences to implement the fundamental goal of“cultivating morality”.Guided by enhancing students’practical skills,we ensure alignment with course objectives and professional training requirements,emphasizing the seamless integration of theory and practice.

Analysis of the Books Issued by Yadong Library, Published by Peking University Publishing Department: Taking Several Bibliography Advertisements Carried in Newspapers and Magazines From 1919-1922 as Examples

Based on several bibliographic advertisements carried in newspapers and magazines from 1919 to 1922 for books published by Peking University Publishing Department,and issued by Yadong Library,the paper analyzes the characteristics of the books published by Peking University Publishing Department during this period,and points out that Yadong Library entered its golden period of development due to move from the alley to the main road and obtain the management rights of the books published by Peking University Publishing Department.

骨架跃迁是目前应用最广泛的药物设计策略之一,但是现有骨架跃迁方法产生的化合物大多为已报道的先导化合物的衍生物或类似物,化学结构缺乏新颖性。针对现有骨架跃迁方法的局限性,提出了一种保持药效团与骨架之间的相对距离和角度不变的骨架跃迁策略,构建一个包含骨架几何特征的linker片段库:Linker Library。该片段库可以根据骨架中心到连接点之间距离和角度,推荐结构新颖且可保持官能团相对位置的片段,有助于指导化合物的骨架跃迁并加速药物发现进程。

Small Amplicons Mutation Library for Vaccine Screening by Error-Prone Polymerase Chain Reaction

Library construction is a common method used to screen target genes in molecular biology.Most library constructions are not suitable for a small DNA library(<100 base pair(bp))and low RNA library output.To maximize the library’s complexity,error-prone polymerase chain reaction(PCR)was used to increase the base mutation rate.After introducing the DNA fragments into the competent cell,the library complexity could reach 109.Library mutation rate increased exponentially with the dilution and amplification of error-prone PCR.The error-prone PCR conditions were optimized including deoxyribonucleotide triphosphate(dNTP)concentration,Mn^(2+)concentration,Mg^(2+)concentration,PCR cycle number,and primer length.Then,a RNA library with high complexity can be obtained by in vitro transcription to meet most molecular biological screening requirements,and can also be used for mRNA vaccine screening.

Dock-able linear and homodetic di, tri, tetra and pentapeptide library from canonical amino acids: SARS-CoV-2 Mpro as a case study

Peptide-based therapeutics are increasingly pushing to the forefront of biomedicine with their promise of high specificity and low toxicity.Although noncanonical residues can always be used,employing only the natural 20 residues restricts the chemical space to a finite dimension allowing for comprehensive in silico screening.Towards this goal,the dataset comprising all possible di-,tri-,and tetra-peptide combinations of the canonical residues has been previously reported.However,with increasing computational power,the comprehensive set of pentapeptides is now also feasible for screening as the comprehensive set of cyclic peptides comprising four or five residues.Here,we provide both the complete and prefiltered libraries of all di-,tri-,tetra-,and penta-peptide sequences from 20 canonical amino acids and their homodetic(N-to-C-terminal)cyclic homologues.The FASTA,simplified molecular-input line-entry system(SMILES),and structure-data file(SDF)-three dimension(3D)libraries can be readily used for screening against protein targets.We also provide a simple method and tool for conducting identity-based filtering.Access to this dataset will accelerate small peptide screening workflows and encourage their use in drug discovery campaigns.As a case study,the developed library was screened against severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)main protease to identify potential small peptide inhibitors.

Identification and epitope mapping of anti-p72 single-chain antibody against African swine fever virus based on phage display antibody library

African swine fever virus(ASFV)is a lethal pathogen that causes severe threats to the global swine industry and it has already had catastrophic socio-economic effects.To date,no licensed prophylactic vaccine exists.Limited knowledge exists about the major immunogens of ASFV and the epitope mapping of the key antigens.As such,there is a considerable requirement to understand the functional monoclonal antibodies(mAbs)and the epitope mapping may be of utmost importance in our understanding of immune responses and designing improved vaccines,therapeutics,and diagnostics.In this study,we generated an ASFV antibody phage-display library from ASFV convalescent swine PBMCs,further screened a specific ASFV major capsid protein(p72)single-chain antibody and fused with an IgG Fc fragment(scFv-83-Fc),which is a specific recognition antibody against ASFV Pig/HLJ/2018 strain.Using the scFv-83-Fc mAb,we selected a conserved epitope peptide(221MTGYKH226)of p72 retrieved from a phage-displayed random peptide library.Moreover,flow cytometry and cell uptake experiments demonstrated that the epitope peptide can significantly promote BMDCs maturation in vitro and could be effectively uptaken by DCs,which indicated its potential application in vaccine and diagnostic reagent development.Overall,this study provided a valuable platform for identifying targets for ASFV vaccine development,as well as to facilitate the optimization design of subunit vaccine and diagnostic reagents.

Construction of Smart Library Based on the Agricultural Information from Metaverse Horizon

Metaverse is a virtual world,but it is possible and even becomes a trend that metaverse interacts with the real world along with the sci-tech and social development.Smart library is a main direction of modern library development,from informatization to digitization and then intelligent-based,modernization of library has been improved qualitatively.Emergence of metaverse brings a brand-new horizon to the generation and application of agricultural information,this paper made primary explorations the requirements and action mechanism of agricultural information on the construction of smart library within the external constraint of metaverse.

Research on the Value Positioning of University Library Based on Customer Delivered Value

With the rise of various new reading media and the rapid development of the digitization of paper resources,the traditional function positioning of university libraries based on information query is facing unprecedented challenges.How to deal with the change of social information?The library should be demand-oriented,re-examine its own value and find a new starting point.With the help of the concept of customer delivered value and based on 4P theory,this paper constructs the value chain of university library from the dimensions of product,image,personnel and service,and forms a multi-dimensional development positioning system.

Behavioral Intention to Continue Using a Library Mobile App

To meet the needs of today’s library users,institutions are developing library mobile apps(LMAs),as their libraries are increasingly intelligent and rely on deep learning.This paper explores the influencing factors and differences in the perception of LMAs at different time points after a user has downloaded an LMA.A research model was constructed based on the technology acceptance model.A questionnaire was designed and distributed twice to LMA users with an interval of three months to collect dynamic data.The analysis was based on structural equation modeling.The empirical results show that the perceived ease of use,the perceived usefulness,the social influence,and the facilitating conditions affected the users’behavioral intention,but their impacts were different at different times.As the usage time increases,the technology acceptance model is still universal for understanding the user perception of LMA.In addition,two extended variables(social impact and convenience)also affect the user’s behavior intention.User behavior is dynamic and changed over time.This study is important both theoretically and practically,as the results could be used to improve the service quality of LMAs and reduce the loss rate of users.Its findings may help the designers and developers of LMAs to optimize them from the perspective of a user and improve the service experience by providing a deeper understanding of the adoption behavior of information systems by LMA users.

To improve the level of informatization of university library archives management,the problems existing in the information construction of university library archives management are analyzed and some practical solutions are proposed in this paper.These solutions can effectively reduce the investment in human resources and equipment and facilities and improve the utilization rate of resources for computer application of university library archives management.

Research on the Construction of a Landscape Engineering Teaching Resource Library Under the“4321”Industry-Education Integration System

This paper studies and explores the construction of a teaching resource library for landscape engineering under the“4321”industry-education integration system,focusing on the construction objectives,construction paths,and construction contents,aiming to open-up the channel of school-enterprise cooperation,improve enterprise participation,and promote the reform of teaching mode and teaching methods.Establishing a practical resource library will connect and integrate students,teachers,and enterprises.A complete library of landscape-oriented teaching resources will be constructed according to the talent portraits of the industry to open-up the relationship between upstream and downstream courses,and further improve the precise fit between the cultivation of applied undergraduate talents and enterprises.

Computer vision-aided DEM study on the compaction characteristics of graded subgrade filler considering realistic coarse particle shapes

The compaction quality of subgrade filler strongly affects subgrade settlement.The main objective of this research is to analyze the macro-and micro-mechanical compaction characteristics of subgrade filler based on the real shape of coarse particles.First,an improved Viola-Jones algorithm is employed to establish a digitalized 2D particle database for coarse particle shape evaluation and discrete modeling purposes of subgrade filler.Shape indexes of 2D subgrade filler are then computed and statistically analyzed.Finally,numerical simulations are performed to quantitatively investigate the effects of the aspect ratio(AR)and interparticle friction coefficient(μ)on the macro-and micro-mechanical compaction characteristics of subgrade filler based on the discrete element method(DEM).The results show that with the increasing AR,the coarse particles are narrower,leading to the increasing movement of fine particles during compaction,which indicates that it is difficult for slender coarse particles to inhibit the migration of fine particles.Moreover,the average displacement of particles is strongly influenced by the AR,indicating that their occlusion under power relies on particle shapes.The dis-placement and velocity of fine particles are much greater than those of the coarse particles,which shows that compaction is primarily a migration of fine particles.Under the cyclic load,the interparticle friction coefficientμhas little effect on the internal structure of the sample;under the quasi-static loads,however,the increase inμwill lead to a significant increase in the porosity of the sample.This study could not only provide a novel approach to investigate the compaction mechanism but also establish a new theoretical basis for the evaluation of intelligent subgrade compaction.

Development of a Web-Based GIS of Flood Zones in the Municipality of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso

This document describes the creation of an informative Web GIS aimed at mitigating the impacts of flooding in the municipality of Ouagadougou, in Burkina Faso, a region that is highly sensitive to climate change. Burkina Faso, which is undergoing rapid urbanization, faces major natural threats, particularly flooding, as demonstrated by the severe floods of 2009 that caused loss of life, injury, structural damage and economic losses in Ouagadougou. The aim of this research is to develop a web map highlighting the municipality’s flood-prone areas, with a view to informing and raising awareness of flood risk reduction. Using the Leaflet JavaScript mapping library, the study uses HTML, CSS and JavaScript to implement web mapping technology. Data on Ouagadougou’s flood zones is generated by a multi-criteria analysis combining Saaty’s AHP method and GIS in QGIS, integrating seven (7) parameters including hydrography, altitude, slope, rainfall, soil types, land use and soil moisture index. QGIS processes and maps the themes, PostgreSQL with PostGIS serves as the DBMS and GeoServer functions as the map server. The Web GIS platform allows users to visualize the different flood risks, from very low to very high, or the high-risk areas specific to Ouagadougou. The AHP calculations classify the municipality into five flood vulnerability zones: very low (24.48%), low (27.93%), medium (23.01%), high (17.11%) and very high (7.47%). Effective risk management requires communication and awareness-raising. This online mapping application serves as a tool for communication, management and flood prevention in Ouagadougou, helping to mitigate flood-related natural disasters.

Marketing Strategies for Reading Promotion Activities in Academic Libraries:A Case Study of the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology

In the contemporary digital age,traditional reading habits have been compromised by digital media,a situation that has forced academic libraries to adopt proactive marketing approaches to promote reading among students and faculty.This article investigates the implementation of marketing strategies in promoting reading activities within academic libraries,taking the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology as a case study.The paper explores various marketing strategies employed by academic libraries,including market segmentation,utilization of new media platforms,and the creation of personalized content for readers.Drawing from an extensive literature review and real-world examples,the study establishes a framework for marketing reading promotion activities tailored to academic libraries.These findings underscore how effective marketing strategies can enhance user participation,expand library influence,and optimize resource utilization.

Intelligent In-Vehicle Safety System Based on Yolov5

In order to reduce the occurrence of traffic accidents and assist drivers to avoid dangerous driving. This paper presents a smart in-vehicle safety system that utilises the Yolov5 algorithm. Yolov5 algorithm is used to anticipate driver fatigue and distraction behaviours, and remind drivers to pay attention to safe driving in time. The system continuously splits the frames and analyses the frame content through the video feedback from the front camera, compared to the traditional machine learning, Yolov5’s mosaic data is enhanced, resulting in a batch size enhancement of 92.3%, and it also uses the Drop Block mechanism to prevent overfitting. The hardware of this system uses STM32 microcontroller and uses system DMA interrupt control and buzzer alarm device to warn about dangerous driving behaviour.

The Optimization Path of Research Support Services in University Libraries from the Perspective of Affordance Theory

University libraries,as an integral component of university research capabilities,are tasked with serving education by providing research support to faculty and students.This study adopts an affordance research perspective originating from ecological psychology to explore the optimization path of research support services in libraries in the new media era.Based on the characteristics of university library services,this research analyzes three aspects:production affordance,mobile affordance,and social affordance,and proposes practical recommendations to guide future research service practices of university libraries.
