The life quality of patients who suffer from these diseases, is more affected by dyspnea then by other symptoms. That way is possible to correlate the impact of dyspnea on their life quality. The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program (PRP) helps to improve the physical fitness and quality of life. This paper presents a study of the life quality and the dyspnea intensity in chronic lung disease patients. The research has participation of fourteen patients, distributed as seven suffering from COPD and the other seven suffering from asthma, for both gender and with an age average of 74.2 ± 8.9. The patients answer the following questionnaires: Baseline Dyspnea Index (BDI), Medical Research Council (MRC) Dyspnea Scale, Airways Questionnaire 20 (AQ20) and the Brazilian version of the Short-Form (SF-36) life quality questionnaire. From the present study, it was concluded that asthma patients have a less impaired life quality, since the dyspnea intensity is lesser, compared to the one with COPD.展开更多

Treatment of cancer pain has become a difficult issue in oncology, poor pain control often seriously affects the patients' life quality. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) nursing intervention can improve symptoms and quality of life (QOL) through massage, external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine, and auricular therapy, which have unique curative effects such as regulating qi and blood, stabilizing the mind, and enhancing immunity. Not only does TCM nursing intervention prevent disease but also cultivates the mind, helps achieve systemic relaxation, and reduces the pain of cancer patients and the toxic side effects of painkillers, so as to improve QOL and satisfaction, making it worthy of clinical popularization and application. At present, there is an urgent need to carry out high-quality, multi-center, large-sample randomized controlled trials and develop a standardized TCM nursing intervention implementation scheme and efficacy standards to promote its application.展开更多

文摘The chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma are chronic airway diseases that cause considerable physical, emotional and social restrictions. From the present study, it was concluded that asthma patients have a less impaired life quality, since the dyspnea intensity is lesser, compared to the one with COPD.
文摘To investigatetheinfluences of the application of human care theory on the life quality and happiness of cancer patients after they receiveda community nursing care which was implemented by the human care theory. The quality life and the happiness index of 93 patients with cancer living in the six communities in Jillin were assessed, the assessment of the life quality was based on a life quality scale (SF-36) and that of the happiness index was based on Memorial University of Newfoundland Scale of Happiness (MUNSH). The community nurses cared for these patients by applying the theory of human care and the life quality and the happiness index of the patients were observed after the care. The results showed that there were significant differences in the score of 5 dimensions in the eight dimensions of the life quality between before the care and after the care (<0.05), and there were significant differences in the average sores of the positive emotion, positive experience, negative emotion, negative experience and level of happiness included in the happiness index between before the care and after the care (<0.05), suggesting that the theory of human care can be used for the care of patients with cancer and the application of the theory can effectively improve the life quality and the happiness index of the patients, strengthen their problem-solving abilities and let them have a positive attitude towards their lives.
文摘Tumor pain is common in patients with advanced cancer;70-80% have varying degrees of pain. At present, there is an urgent need to carry out high-quality, multi-center, large-sample randomized controlled trials and develop a standardized TCM nursing intervention implementation scheme and efficacy standards to promote its application.
文摘Purpose:To analyze the basic situation and health related quality of life(HRQOL)results of patients with transient ischemic attack(TIA),and to study the influencing factors of health related quality of life in patients receiving clopidogrel.Method:Divide the TIA patients into clopidogrel group, aspirin group and untreated group.Measure HRQOL scores of TIA patients using the short form 36 questionnaire(SF-36)scale and analyze influencing factors of HRQOL with one-way ANOVA and multivariate stepwise linear regression statistical methods. Results:The differences of HRQOL scores among three groups are of statistical significance(F=4.29,P=0.00).There is no difference in HRQOL score between clopidogrel group and aspirin group(t=5.35,P=0.00),but HRQOL scores of clopidogrel group and aspirin group are higher than those of the untreated group(t=6.14,P=0.00;t=5.16,P=0.00).The HRQOL scores of clopidogrel group are positively correlated with diet, exercise, gender and family harmony(P<0.05),but negatively correlated with diabetes, hypertension, smoking, drinking, hyperlipidemia, age, career and ABCD2 score(P<0.05).Conclusion:TIA patients who received secondary prevention with clopidogrel and aspirin show better life quality results than those who did not. There were many factors influencing clopidogrel's treatment effect.Paying attention to middle-aged and elderly, the obese, mental workers and female TIA patients, teach TIA patients to quit smoking, drinking and eating low-salt and low-fat food, actively treating their hypertension, hyperlipidemia and diabetes and laying emphasis on psychological counseling and exercise can significantly improve the treatment effect of clopidogrel.
文摘Objective To study the ovarian function, blood flow and quality of life in patients with cervical cancer after ovarian transposition. Methods 114 patients with cervical cancer during January 2015 to January 2016 were retrospectively analyzed, patients who don’t need ovarian transposition treatment were included in the control group(38 cases),and those who need ovarian transposition treatment were included in observation group, those who had accepted operation but not radiotherapy were in observation group 1(38 cases),and those who had accepted operation and radiotherapy were in observation group 2(38 cases). Then the ovarian function, ovarian blood flow and sexual life quality and complication were compared in each group. Results P,E2,LH and FSH indexes of all patients before operation showed no significant difference in statistical analysis(P>0.05),after 12 months of follow-up,ovarian function index changes were observed in 2 groups, and the other two groups had significant difference(P<0.05);preoperative blood group hemodynamic indexes were no significant difference(P<0.05),after treatment,2 groups’RI was observed and was higher than other groups, and the difference between groups was significant(P<0.05);The quality of sex life in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the 2 groups had a statistically significant difference(p<0.05)compared to the 2 groups. In addition, the incidence rate of each group of complications was compared, observation 1 group and observation 2 group were higher than the control group, the statistical analysis of the group was significantly different(p<0.05).Conclusion Cervical cancer patients with ovarian shift after treatment, postoperative can still preserving ovarian function and sexual life quality also increased significantly, but the postoperative patients complicated with abdominal pain, without functional ovarian cysts; If ovarian shift line of postoperative radiation therapy, there are side effects on the ovarian function and sexual life. After the ovarian transposition treatment for patients with cervical cancer, they can still retain ovarian function, and the sexual life quality is also significantly improved, but abdominal pain and non-functional ovarian cyst may occur;if the radiation therapy was given after ovarian transposition, then side effects will appear in the ovarian function and sex life.
