Surface chemical properties of typical commercial coal-based activated cokes were characterized by Xray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) and acid-base titration, and then the influence of surface chemical properties on...Surface chemical properties of typical commercial coal-based activated cokes were characterized by Xray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) and acid-base titration, and then the influence of surface chemical properties on catalytic performance of activated cokes of NO reduction with NH3 was investigated in a fixed-bed quartz micro reactor at 150 ℃. The results indicate that the selective catalytic reduction(SCR) activity of activated cokes with the increase of its surface acidic sites and oxygen content,obviously, a correlation between catalytic activity and surface acidic sites content by titration has higher linearity than catalytic activity and surface oxygen content by XPS. While basic sites content by acid-base titration have not correlation with SCR activity. It has been proposed that surface basic sites content measured by titration may not be on adjacent of acidic surface oxides and then cannot form of NO2-like species, thus the reaction of reduction of NO with NH3 have been retarded.展开更多

Rheological and drag reduction properties of different concentrations of aqueous HXG and XG solution were studied. The micro-structure network of HXG and XG solutions was investigated by Cryo-FESEM. The results showed that HXG and XG solutions could exhibit shear thinning property. The apparent viscosity of6 g·L-1HXG solution was 1.25 times more than that of 6 g·L-1XG solution. The storage modulus G′ and the loss modulus G″ of HXG solutions were greater than those of XG solutions, and thixotropic and viscoelastic properties were more significant in HXG solutions. The HXG and XG solutions reduced the pressure drop of straight pipe, and the maximum drag reduction of 1 g·L-1HXG and XG in smooth tube reached 72.8% and 68.1%, respectively. Drag reduction rate was increased as the concentration increased. The HXG solution may become a new polymeric drag reducer.展开更多
The catalytic activity of carbon nanotubes-supported vanadium oxide(V_2O_5/CNTs) catalysts in the selective catalytic reduction(SCR) of NO with NH_3 at low temperatures(<250℃) was investigated.The effects of V_2O_...The catalytic activity of carbon nanotubes-supported vanadium oxide(V_2O_5/CNTs) catalysts in the selective catalytic reduction(SCR) of NO with NH_3 at low temperatures(<250℃) was investigated.The effects of V_2O_5loading,reaction temperature,and presence of SO_2 on the SCR activity were evaluated.The results show that V_2O_5/CNTs catalysts exhibit high activity for NO reduction with NH_3 at low-temperatures.The catalysts also show very high stability in the presence of SO_2.More interestingly,their activities are significantly promoted instead of being poisoned by SO_2.The promoting effect of SO_2 is distinctly associated with V_2O_5 loading,particularly maximized at low V_2O_5 loading,which indicated the role of CNTs support in this effect.The promoting effect of SO_2 at low temperatures suggests that V_2O_5/CNTs catalysts are promising catalytic materials for low-temperature SCR reactions.展开更多
We conducted a series of experimental studies on the metallurgical properties of N-lump and F-lump ores used in Baosteel’s blast furnace, including thermal cracking, low-temperature reduction pulverization, reducibil...We conducted a series of experimental studies on the metallurgical properties of N-lump and F-lump ores used in Baosteel’s blast furnace, including thermal cracking, low-temperature reduction pulverization, reducibility, and droplet properties.The results show that the thermal burst properties of N-lump ore are better than those of F-lump ore.The low-temperature reduction degradation index(RDI) pulverization of the charge is the best when the ratios of N-lump ore and F-lump ore account for 35% each.The reduction performance of the charge is improved when F-lump and N-lump ores are mixed with sinter.In the softening-melting performance experiment, when the proportion of N-lump ore is 40%,the characteristic area value(S) as the charge permeability index is the smallest.When F-lump ore is mixed with sinter, its droplet performance improves compared with that of single F-lump ore.The proportion of F-lump ore should not exceed 15%.展开更多

Raman spectrum showsthat Ce-Th complex oxides can promote the formation of oxygen vacancies. Two reduction peaks appearin the TPR profiles of Ce_xTh_(1-x)O_2 solid solution. The a peak is attributed to the reduction ofCe^(4+) on the surface, and the β peak is attributed to the reduction of bulk CeO_2. Theincorporation of Th atom into CeO_2 improves the reduction of CeO_2.
