One Class of the Least Congruences on Completely Regular Semigroups

Congruence is a very important aspect in the study of the semigroup theory.In general,the Kernel-trace characterizations,Green's relations and subvarieties are main tools in the consideration of congruences on completely regular semigroups.In this paper,we give one class of congruences on completely regular semigroups with the representation of wreath product of translational hulls on completely simple semigroups.By this new way,the least Clifford semigroup congruences on completely regular semigroups are generalized.

Some Characterizations of Left Weakly Regular Ordered Semigroups

In this paper, the notion of left weakly regular ordered semigroups is introduced. Furthermore, left weakly regular ordered semigroups are characterized by the properties of their left ideals, right ideals and （generalized） bi-ideals, and also by the properties of their fuzzy left ideals, fuzzy right ideals and fuzzy （generalized） bi-ideals.

A Class of Regular Simple ω2-semigroups-Ⅱ

In this paper, we study regular simple ω2-semigroups in which D｜Es = Wd by the generalized Bruck-Reilly extension and obtain its structure theorem.

Congruence Triples on Regular Semigroups and Their Generalizations

In this paper, we introduce the concept of VT-congruence triples on a regular semigroup S and show how such triples can be constructed by nsing the equivalences on S/L, S/R and the special congruences on S. Also, such congruence triples are characterized so that an associated congruence can be uniquely determined by a given congruence triple. Moreover, we also consider the VH-congruence pairs on an orthocryptogroup.

WEAK REGULARIZATION FOR A CLASS OF ILL-POSED CAUCHY PROBLEMS

This article is concerned with the ill-posed Cauchy problem associated with a densely defined linear operator A in a Banach space. A family of weak regularizing operators is introduced. If the spectrum of A is contained in a sector of right-half complex plane and its resolvent is polynomially bounded, the weak regularization for such ill-posed Cauchy problem can be shown by using the quasi-reversibilky method and regularized semigroups. Finally, an example is given.

Normal Orthodox Semigroups with Inverse Transversals

A normal orthodox semigroup is an orthodox semigroup whose idempotent elements form a normal band. We deal with congruences on a normal orthodox semigroup with an inverse transversal. A structure theorem for such semigroup is obtained. Munn(1966) gave a fundamental inverse semigroup. Following Munn's idea, we give a fundamental normal orthodox semigroup with an inverse transversal.

REGULARIZED SEMIGROUPS GENERATED BY PSEUDODIFFERENTIAL OPERATORS ON C~α

Let Op(f) be a pseudodifferential operator with symbol f∈ S m ρ,0 having constant coefficients. We prove that Op(f) generates a regularized semigroup or cosine function on C α (R n) (0<α<1) when the symbol f(ξ) and its derivatives satisfy certain growth conditions.

The structure of superabundant semigroups

A structure theorem for superabundant semigroups in terms of semilattices of normalized Rees matrix semigroups over some cancellative monoids is obtained. This result not only provides a construction method for superabundant semigroups but also generalizes the well-known result of Petrich on completely regular semigroups. Some results obtained by Fountain on abundant semigroups are also extended and strengthened.

On the Enhanced Power Graph of a Semigroup

The enhanced power graph P_(E)(S)of a semigroup S is a simple graph whose vertex set is S and two vertices a,y∈S are adjacent if and only if c,y∈(z)for some z∈S,where(z)is the subsemigroup generated by z.In this paper,we first describe the structure of P_(E)(S)for an arbitrary semigroup S,and then discuss the connectedness of P_(E)(S).Further,we characterize the semigroup S in the cases when P_(E)(S)is separately a complete,bipartite,regular,tree and null graph.The planarity,together with the minimum degree and independence number,of P_(E)(S)is also investigated.The chromatic number of a spanning subgraph,i.e.,the cyclic graph,of P_(E)(S)is proved to be countable.In the final part of this paper,we construct an example of a semigroup S such that the chromatic number of P_(E)(S)need not be countable.

Green＇s Relations on a Kind of Semigroups of Linear Transformations

Let V be a linear space over a field F with finite dimension,L(V) the semigroup,under composition,of all linear transformations from V into itself.Suppose that V = V1⊕V2⊕···⊕Vm is a direct sum decomposition of V,where V1,V2,...,Vm are subspaces of V with the same dimension.A linear transformation f ∈ L(V) is said to be sum-preserving,if for each i(1 ≤ i ≤ m),there exists some j(1 ≤ j ≤ m) such that f(Vi) ■Vj.It is easy to verify that all sum-preserving linear transformations form a subsemigroup of L(V) which is denoted by L⊕(V).In this paper,we first describe Green's relations on the semigroup L⊕(V).Then we consider the regularity of elements and give a condition for an element in L⊕(V) to be regular.Finally,Green's equivalences for regular elements are also characterized.

On the Construction of Regular Orthocryptogroups

The aim of this paper is to study regular orthocryptogroups. After obtaining some charac- terizations of such semigroups, we establish the construction theorem of regular orthocryptogroups. As an application, we give the construction theorem of right quasi-normal orthocryptogroups and study homomorphisms between two regular orthocryptogroups.

U-Concordant Semigroups

We introduce the relations Lu and Ru with respect to a subset U of idempotents. Based on Lv and Rv, we define a new class of semigroups which we name U-concordant semigroups. Our purpose is to describe U-concordant semigroups by generalized categories over a regular biordered set. We show that the category of U-concordant semigroups and admissible morphisms is isomorphic to the category of RBS generalized categories and pseudo functors. Our approach is inspired from Armstrong＇s work on the connection between regular biordered sets and concordant semigroups. The significant difference in strategy is by using RBS generalized categories equipped with pre-orders, we have no need to discuss the quotient of a category factored by a congruence.

Split Quasi-adequate Semigroups

The so-called split IC quasi-adequate semigroups are in the class of idempotent-connected quasi-adequate semigroups. It is proved that an IC quasi-adequate semigroup is split if and only if it has an adequate transversal. The structure of such semigroup whose band of idempotents is regular will be particularly investigated. Our obtained results enrich those results given by McAlister and Blyth on split orthodox semigroups.

The Regularity of Munn Rings and Semigroup Rings

In this paper,the author studies the regularity of Munn rings and completely 0- simple semigroup rings.When either(i)R is a ring with identity and I and A are infinite,or(ii) R is a strong IBN and fully Dedekind-finite ring with identity and either I or A is finite,in Section 2,the regularity of the Munn ring M(R;I,A;P)is characterized;in Section 3,for a completely 0-simple semigroup S= M°(G;I,A;P),the regularity of RS is characterized.Meantime,the author shows that for a locally finite monoid S and a ring R with identity,RS is a strong IBN ring if and only if R is so;RS is fully Dedekind-finite if and only if R is so.

The K°-relation on the Congruence Lattice of a Regular Semigroup with an Inverse Transversal

Let S be a regular semigroup with an inverse transversal S° and C（S） the congruence lattice of S. A relation K° on C（S） is introduced as follows： if p, θ∈ C（S）, then we say that p and 0 are K°-related if Ker pO = Ker θ°, where p°= p｜s°. Expressions for the least and the greatest congruences in the same K°-class as p are provided. A number of equivalent conditions for K° being a congruence are given.

Characterisations of semigroups by the properties of their picture fuzzy bi-ideals

In this article,a new generalisation of fuzzy bi-ideals and intuitionsitic fuzzy bi-ideals of a semigroup considered so called picture fuzzy bi-ideals no a semigroup.It is well known that the intra-regular semigroups play an essential role in studying the structure,especially the decomposition,of semigroups.The purpose of this paper is to deal with the algebraic structure of semigroups by applying picture fuzzy set theory.As an application of our results we get characterisations of intra-regular regular semigroups in terms of picture fuzzy bi-ideals.We prove that a semigroup is both regular and intra-regular if and only if every picture fuzzy bi-ideal on S is idempotent.

On Generalized Inverse Transversals

Let S be a regular semigroup, S° an inverse subsemigroup of S.S° is called a generalized inverse transversal of S, if V（x）∩S°≠Ф. In this paper, some properties of this kind of semigroups are discussed. In particular, a construction theorem is obtained which contains some recent results in the literature as its special cases.
