Soren Kierkegaard＇s （1962） work from the late 19th century helped a multitude of theologians re-evaluate their understanding of the New Testament （1992） and influenced many in the realm of philosophy in the opening half of the 20th century. It is possible that his work could shed new light on our understanding of the Controversy Sections in the Gospels between Jesus and the Pharisees. Kierkegaard＇s attempt to help those caught in ＂Christendom＂ move to ＂Christianity＂ will be compared with the ＂Gospel of Luke＂＇s presentation of Jesus attempting to move the Pharisees to true faith. Structural Analysis, an adaptation of Form Criticism, will be employed to demonstrate that the Gospel＇s presentation of Jesus＇ approach to the Religiously Secure parallels that of Kierkegaard展开更多
