The optimal material removal strategy can improve a geometric accuracy and surface quality of thin-walled parts such as turbine blades and blisks in high-speed ball end milling. The dominant conception in the material removal represents the persistence of the workpiece cutting stiffness in operation to advance the machining accuracy and machining efficiency. On the basis of theoretical models of cutting stiffness and deformation, finite element method (FEM) is applied to calculate the virtual displacements of the thin-walled part under given virtual loads at the nodes of the discrete surface. With the reference of deformation distribution of the thin-walled part, the milling material removal strategy is optimized to make the best of bracing ability of still uncut material. This material removal method is summarized as the lower stiffness region removed firstly and the higher stiffness region removed next.Analytical and experimental results show the availability, which has been verified by the blade machining test in this work, for thin-walled parts to reduce cutting deformation and meliorate machining quality. 展开更多

To achieve better observation for sea surface,a new generation of wide-swath interferometric altimeter satellites is proposed. Before satellite launch,it is particularly important to study the data processing methods and carry out the detailed error analysis of ocean satellites, because it is directly related to the ultimate ability of satellites to capture ocean information. For this purpose, ocean eddies are considered a specific case of ocean signals, and it can cause significant changes in sea surface elevation. It is suitable for theoretical simulation of the sea surface and systematic simulation of the altimeter. We analyzed the impacts of random error and baseline error on the sea surface and ocean signals and proposed a combined strategy of low-pass filtering, empirical orthogonal function(EOF)decomposition, and linear fitting to remove the errors.Through this strategy, sea surface anomalies caused by errors were considerably improved, and the capability of satellite for capturing ocean information was enhanced.Notably,we found that the baseline error in sea surface height data was likely to cause inaccuracy in eddy boundary detection,as well as false eddy detection. These abnormalities could be prevented for"clean"sea surface height after the errors removal. 展开更多

There are various phenomena of malicious information spreading in the real society, which cause many negative impacts on the society. In order to better control the spreading, it is crucial to reveal the influence of network structure on network spreading. Motifs, as fundamental structures within a network, play a significant role in spreading. Therefore, it is of interest to investigate the influence of the structural characteristics of basic network motifs on spreading dynamics.Considering the edges of the basic network motifs in an undirected network correspond to different tie ranges, two edge removal strategies are proposed, short ties priority removal strategy and long ties priority removal strategy. The tie range represents the second shortest path length between two connected nodes. The study focuses on analyzing how the proposed strategies impact network spreading and network structure, as well as examining the influence of network structure on network spreading. Our findings indicate that the long ties priority removal strategy is most effective in controlling network spreading, especially in terms of spread range and spread velocity. In terms of network structure, the clustering coefficient and the diameter of network also have an effect on the network spreading, and the triangular structure as an important motif structure effectively inhibits the spreading. 展开更多
