The construction of temporary housings in disaster areas using containers is proposed as an application solution. With its advantage of combination and splitting, the modularity of containers offers a wide range of implementation possibilities for container housing in disaster areas. Specific housing needs of various types of victims can be easily satisfied through the different organizations of various units.展开更多
This paper constructs a structural dynamic equilibrium model based on a dual market system,which includes China’s residential housing market and the property rental market in China’s first-tier urban cities.The pape...This paper constructs a structural dynamic equilibrium model based on a dual market system,which includes China’s residential housing market and the property rental market in China’s first-tier urban cities.The paper analyzes dual-market general equilibria under different scenarios as perceived since 200.An open-economy Gordon growth model is also introduced to examine fair housing prices based on the assumption of no arbitrage.Empirical results indicate significant(but time-varying)price deviations from the equilibrium level since2005 which are mostly driven by contingent demand and property investors.The paper concludes that the contingent purchasing demand supports China’s recent residential price hike and that speculation does not dominate the price boom.The recent quota policy has a theoretical downward pressure on the housing price in the short run but it also lifts property rents dramatically in the middle and long run.展开更多

In present Chi...Along the rapid urbanization, the housing problem of medium and low-income residents in cities has been one of social problems, which is drawing the attention of government in the world for a long time. In present China, both the national policy and market of housing system are in the process of perfecting, which pay more attention to the low-income residents and rural residents. This paper chooses Tianjin, the third pole of China development as the example for research. Tianjin public housing residential district planning explored a mode of "large-scale mix and small-scale pure" for the whole homeland development. It confirms that regional coordination, ecological concepts, green transport, space characteristics and appropriate technology is important in planning.展开更多
